OBJECTIVES:
Over
the
course
of
twelve
weeks,
students
will
be
given
specific
perspective
and
instruction
on
every
marketing
discipline
entailed
in
the
creation
of
multi-‐media
campaign
platforms.
Each
marketing
discipline
will
be
devoted
to
in
weekly
3
hour
sessions.
In
certain
weekly
lectures,
other
industry
professionals
will
appear
as
special
guest
speakers,
based
upon
scheduling
and
availability.
At
the
end
of
the
course,
class
members
will
be
divided
into
“campaign
teams”
and
asked
to
prepare
and
compete
in
a
realistic
marketing
arena,
working
on
specific
assigned
film
projects.
Acquire
specific
and
practical
working
knowledge
of
industry
marketing
know-‐how,
including:
Distribution
Planning
and
Strategy,
Market
Research,
Creative
Advertising
Development,
Strategic
Media
Planning
and
Execution
and
Publicity/Promotion.
