Observation Guide: Classroom

• Look at the walls of the classroom. What are posted on the walls? What
heroes religious figures, lessons, visual aids or announcements, do you see
posted?

• Examine how the furniture is arranged. Where is the teacher’s table


located? How are the tables and chairs/desks arranged?

• What learning material/equipment are present?

• Observe the students. How many are occupying one room?

• Is the room well lighted and well ventilated?

Use this matrix in documenting your observations based on the preceding
observation guide.

Classroom Facilities Description

1.Wall displays There are different wall displays. At the
back they have the poster that listed the
achiever, classroom and PTA officers and
the list of cleaners each day and on
some sections the list of birthday each
month are also posted. In some room
there is daily prayer posted in front.
2. Teacher’s Table The teacher’s table is located in the
center of the classroom. It is covered by
the cartolina and clear plastic.
3. Learner’s Desk/chair The student’s chair is comfortable
enough to student’s activity.

4.Blackboard The blackboard is also used as teaching


material. The color of it green, is for the
student relaxes their eyes and there are
two blackboards attached to the wall.
5. Electric fan There are two electrics fan attached to
the wall it is located at the center of the
room.

Analysis:
The student use to stay at the classroom for a long time. They are posting
some religious figures and they make there classroom comfortable enough for them
and to be conducive to learning.
Reflection:
The classroom is the common place where the learning process occurs. The
classroom should be clean, organize and presentable at all time.
