TRANSLATORS FOREWARD
Jain philosophy is an unfathomable ocean of spirituality.
Venerable Ailak Shri Nishakar Sagar ji Maharaj, the able disciple of
most reverend, a diademof saints and a cornet of spiritual conduct
,Acharaya Shri Vidya Sagar ji Maharaj is a staunch follower of
Acharya Kund-Kunds tradition. He exhorted religious preaching at
Vidisha M.P. during his rainy-seasonal stay in 1008. these preachings
apart from being religious, are very useful in our social interaction and
helpful in uplifting the personality of the listners as these are very effective
and inspiring contents of these exhortations are related to our day to
day practical life which make our confidence firm and unflinching,some
of these exhortations have been published in the form of a book
captioned Adhayatma Deshna i.e. spiritual discourses.
Ailak Shri is well-versed in Jain Canons (Jain Aagaint) and other
scriptural texts,in short he is an encyclopeadia of Jain Philosophy. He
has helped me a lot in explaining the core of Jain terminology when I
was engaged in translating JIN SARASWAT, the famous work of
reverend Muni 108 Shri Prashant Sagar ji Maharaj.
He entrusted his this work to me to translate it into English for
the benefit of youths studying in English based Convent schools and
colleges through English medium and for other English - knowing people.
To the best of any ability I tried to complete it by the grace of
Ailak Shri who is a image of compassion and affection, though I
possess a little knowledge of English language. I also pay my obeisance
to Acharya Shri Vidya Sagar Maharaj and his disciples towords whom
my head always remains bow in devotion.

Aliveness of everlasting Jinas order

To have the union of the bride of salvation with Lord parshwanath


means that the Lord has become completely free from infinite griefs. To
frolic dalliance in ones own personal play-house, with the own soul is
to celebrate Swamvara, (i.e. celebration for choosing the bridegroom
by the bride) in each space-point of the soul substance which is of
innumerable space-points with the pure consciousness of the knowledge.
It is union of ones own self with ones own self of the solitude- separated
pure soul. It is the good fruit of the right adoration of the self-development
in previous birth after births. It is incarnation of self-meditation in the
contemplation/ reflection by remembering the memories of past births
keeping the racial puff at a distance, is the right stage of getting ones
self by drowning ones own self.
The Teerthankara immerses in contemplation/ reflexion for getting his own self. He starts the inner journey for connecting his own self
with his own self-abandoning all outer amenities of worldly pleasures.
Only then the Laukantika deities adorned with whiteness of white
Leshya. (passion stained souls activity), Brahmarishi, adorable by
Devendra, well-versed in scriptures, and adorned with costume of celibate, come getting down from heaven before the aversed Lord. They
learn the lesson of detachment/ renunciation from the Lord, pleasing
the heart of everyone. They praise and appreciate the path of renunciation
by their voice and speech and express their intimate innermost desire/
feeling that they may also soon adopt that great renunciation/ aversion
from worldly sensual enjoyments, as it is the most excellent work of the
human mode of life of which they praise and recommend. The renunciation of the aversed is much rare wealth in all the three worlds. It is
adamantine armour for safeguarding the increase of equanimity and
wealth of renunciation.
Reflecting the reflexions is to collect the energy for washing off
the impurity/ black spots of all the previous birth after births. It is to get
welfare of all in ones own welfare. Who himself has learned to live,

that very is able to show the path of leading the life well. Attaining ownself is, precisely to become an instrument for causing deliverance of all
from worldly worries and for it one has to renounce all that he has
collected so far indispensably thereby becoming identical in outer and
internal appearance.
The initiation (Deeksha) is precisely the evacuation of the ones
wisdom from matters other than the soul, and to have perception of
ownness, transmission of emotions, showing interest, talking about that
and reflecting that which is our own and striving intensely for getting
that very, is to become immersed in that again and again.
Renunciation of attachment with the spirit of equanimity from all
outer matters, expulsion of impure waves of perverted feelings contrary to real nature rising in the inner heart, is precisely the revelation of
the pure form of ones own real nature. The bonded Karmas begin to
shed immediately as soon as such divine spiritual power enters the heart
and there is also not the least experience of calamity and affliction.
When the relation of delusion with the body is broken then the binding
of new Karmas also stops. As soon as the infinite souls power is
manifested by supreme spiritual meditation, the infinite divine enlightenment of the state of omniscience is spreaded everywhere in which all
movable and immovable matters of all the three worlds begin to be
seen like the line on the palm.
This self-striving is not done for seeing all matters of the world.
The supreme solitary spiritual person strives only for getting accomplishment of the purity of the soul. Well, reflecting the substanceattribute-mode of all the three world is a transcendental proof of the
purity of the self-soul and is the interest in the form of getting the
extraordinary, unprecedented, incomparable, ineffable power in the
pretext of achievement of self-accomplishment along with the principal
amount. The insignificance of we worldly beings is being seen in the
Sovereignty of the Lord but see the majesty / greatness of the Lord that
they relish only the bliss of the self-soul even knowing all the three

worlds. Precisely, this very is the transcendental effect of the aliveness


of everlasting Jinas-order discipline. This very is the proper governance
of the self-discipline.

NO HAPPINESS IN DECEIT - MALICE


There is always race in illusion which gives fatigue
and grief. Deceit, malice and fraud - illusion are like mirage.
The Pleasure gained from falsity looks extremely beautiful,
attracts our mind prima- faice and misleads our life. But
when we know the reality then the entire happiness converts
into experience of grief which is lodged on the ground of
falsity. The attainment of real happiness is not possible by
falsity, untruth, deceit, malice and illusion.

Where there non-violence exists, thsere i s every


thing, environment of reslessness and strife is created in
the absence of non-violence. Just as much as the sandal is
rubbed down so much it gets fragrant, similarly as much as
the religion of non-violence is practiced, so much
environment of pleasure and peace is createad

To export meat of animals slaughtering them in the


country and to import cow-dung from foreign countries
is vary shameful We are destroying that very source
from which we get cow-dung and are manuring with the
imported manure. What kind of trade is this ?

Beauty of the Loneliness contemplation

When at the time of great anointment Abhisheka (reverential


procedure of anointing the idol of Jina Lord) of Lord Parshwanath, the
idols of all other omniscients ensconced on the alter, were shifted to
other decorous place, then I saw the solitary Lord and the acquaintance with the highest truth/ ultimate good began to surge in the heart
with its divine auspicious feeling. The contemplation of lonliness made
me immersed in myself with its transcendental energy.
O conscious Lord! The world is easy obtainable, assuming body
is also easy and the material for sensual enjoyments is also easy to get.
Acquainted with them infinite times, experienced them and heard about
them, which has asserted authority over the mind and brain of all everywhere, I adopted them as my own with full absorption, in the case of
non-availability of them, indeed I immediately experienced intense grief
inviting malice and anguish and has bonded grief-giving Karmas for
future with innumerable space points of my own soul like the milk and
water voluntarily due to my vicious thought activities. The soul does
not like bondage, it is not the nature of the soul but the chain of cause
and effect is going on as just of that sort, we are fostering grief for
getting pleasure and in our effort to avert grief we are embracing new
griefs being nescient.
O conscious soul! When one of the Persian water-wheel of grief
becomes empty, immediately the next stands up before us filled with
other griefs. Here neither the grief became pleasure nor the pleasure
remains with the grief. In fact to enjoy sensual enjoyments means to
make ownself enjoyable, One who makes himself enjoyable with
thoughts contrary to the real nature that never has been able to become
fortunate, then how it shall be possible to become God?
O master of infinite enjoyments! enjoy infinite enjoyments of your
own not of other where there is neither destruction, devastation nor
gloom nor ensuing hope. Lead life becoming present then the present

will consist of infinite pleasure. This very is rare, i.e. the availability of
experience and acquaintance of unitary and separated, (i.e. soul & body
are different entities) soul in this rare human mode is rare. The experience of self is not obtained by other means; it is enjoyed only by the
self-sensed-knowledge. The pure reality of the soul comes by separateness of attachments, etc.
O judicious! Ensconce yourself on the altar of your own-soul for
the purity of self-soul like Lord ensconced solitary on the altar, experience contemplation of loneliness externally and internally. As long as
your vision works, waves of your thoughts move, your breath expands
till then know yourself and other matters by disposition as a witness,
(i.e. as merely as an spectator), acquaint yourself with their characteristics, form, marks and nature then tally them with the nature of the soul
that what is the difference between we and them, how long we can live
with them; how long and up to when they stand by us, what is our
relation with them. Just as all is visible in the light of the sun as to what
is there, how and where they are kept, similarly in the courtyard of the
inner heart the classification of milk and water will occur in the proper
light of science of discrimination. The decision of the self and other will
be crystal clear discreetly like the swan.
The living being is alone, was alone and precisely will remain
alone, and then why the bond of subjugation/ dependence is there?
The other is other, our self-conscious eternal existence is our own, then
why this blackness of attachment-aversion? There is no entrance of
our existence in the other, and the entrance of others existence is not
possible in our existence, then why this purposeless sinful activity? Why
there is our interference in others and of others in ours, why there is
pleasure and pain anxiety, griefs happiness, etc in coming and going
(getting & losing) other matter. The omniscient Lord remains within
himself although knowing all. Even living all alone, enjoy infinite pleasure,
why are we not able to enjoy like Him? Why are we not able to live in
ourselves, living even in the midst of all.

Just this search is to be done in ourselves and the disposition/


thoughts, which make and relate us to another, are to be dispelled from
our house-courtyard. This very is the true effort, this very is the proper
recourse for experiencing the unitary-separated soul. The beautiful form
of the contemplation of loneliness is to make ourselves a clean mirror in
which all may be seen but the effect of other substances should neither
be visible in it nor there will be lack of our effect and nor there will be
transformation of our self-sensed knowledge free from attachment, etc
into feeling contrary to the real nature. The clean mirror free from karmicfilth of the Lord supreme soul is introducing us with our own clean form
of mirror. The pure facial appearance of attachment-less, passionless
Lord is causing us to listen the message with his silent smile, that we are
imbued with attachment along with giving spiritual instruction that how
can we save us from attachment-aversion by his motionless posture,
non-deceitful eyes and is also inspiring us to remain firm immovable
like the idol.

Today India needs great kings,but not credulous Kings


learned judges and advocates are sitting in the Supreme
court,they should see the holy Constitution of India .
There is no provision of killing even of any small
creature in the Prohibition of Cruelty Act,then why all
are keeping mum on the issue o animal slaughtering ?

Climax of familial Abnegation

The abnegation is a great incantation of the unity/oneness, Ram


renounced kingdom for fulfilling the words of his father. Bharat remembering the grief of the exile of Ram to the forest, renounced royal palace & royal enjoyments lived life like a dweller in the forest even living
in the palace. Laxman established a unique record of brotherly love by
accompanying Ram-Seeta in the forest. Seeta following Ram renounced
all means of pleasures and facilities. Precisely, the climax of renunciation towards each other makes the life, person and family ideal which is
exemplary for all. Well, the glory of the ideal proves the importance of
life as well as it establishes the life at the peak level.
O conscious Lord! To become carrier of the sacramental culture, is an excellent work. Precisely, the continued succession of sacraments keeps alive our venerated deities, Teerthankaras, ascetics, great
personage. Had there not been the flow of sacraments then assuming
life, building of lively temples of human values would have been meaningless. Our parents are the living incantation of safeguarding the culture who fulfil their liability for their offsprings. They establish harmony
by distributing sweet of amity with love affection, close affinity and
brotherly relationship with great abnegation on their part.
O soul! Well, the houses are built with bricks, cement, iron rods,
gitti (road stones) but the real home is made of our mutual behaviour,
conduct and sacraments which keep all of us safe in one thread by the
light of the attribute of the Jeevas knowledge, affinity, of the reality of
the soul and sensation of consciousness. Our elderly people take care
of our present and the present showing respect towards elderly people
learns the living lesson of life from their past preiod. Elderly people (old
ones) are huge banyan tree where there is no sun-light of grief, pain,
worry discomfort, one always gets only treasure of experience,
dedication to living life like the excellent shelter/ shadow. This very is
the gift of old generation to the new generation and of the new generation
is the charming festival of the devotion to the duty towards old genera7

tion.
O conscious soul! The Ram of Dashrath became Ram of the
public at large. The Maryada Purshottam, i.e. the image of ethical
propriety Ram has become Atmaram, i.e. individuated consciousness
of we all for awakening our infinite strength of the soul, whose conduct
being imprinted on the pages of history is still today a Ram of the living
conduct.
He himself has become the Ram-bridge for the protection of the
culture, sacrament patronage and a great Himalaya of social decorum.
Respecting the words of his father, he became a dweller of the forest.
The chaste (sati) Seeta accepted sufferings of the forest like flowers
following the foot-prints of her husband Ram. Bharat lived like dweller
of the forest even living in the royal palace remembering the suffering of
his brother Ram.
O soul! It is climax of the familial abnegation in which all offering
oblation of their individual pleasures not only honoured king Dashrath
and Ayodhya but gave fundamental incantation of familial unity to the
entire human society; presented unique ideal of renunciation of all means
of pleasure and facilities discharging their individual duties. This very is
the great scripture of the totality of living life and keeping the living life
alive. In this very the achievement of spiritual stage of soul, self lessness
for becoming recluse (ascetic) and the great pleasure of the joint family
is contained.
Feeling of amity and the value of social conduct are the backbone/ mainstay of the Indian culture. The Indian soil is precisely piouspure only by this and only due to this, the India is great and the Indian
culture is alive. In fact, that very is Indian in whose home, family such
culture sacraments are found. If it is not so, it may well be that you are
called Indian because of taking birth on the motherland. but, in fact you
are a foreigner by your heart, brain, garments, and way of living especially eating and drinking.

O soul! If each and every person realises his duty, abides by it,
pays respect to young and old, takes care of young-old and shares out
affection with them then the family shall itself be like the sacrificial rite
in which all its members offering oblation of their sense of duty related
to means of their pleasure and facilities can safeguard each warp and
woof of the joint family, who shall evolve human civilization human
values, self honour & respect. This very is true that every member of
the family should necessarily fulfil his first duty and effort to retain/
preserve the joint family alive. Living separately the thing of daily use
like salt, chilly, spices, etc would also cost much. If even a member of
joint family unfortunately falls in trouble then remaining members of the
family share his difficulty as their own and do not even let him feel of the
trouble. This very is the test of the patience duty/ religion, friend, brother
and trust of woman. Only at the time of adversity our and others/ friends
and foe are known in real sense and the family relations, etc. are tested.
One who does not come forward to help his own people in need, even
being theirs own, how will he extend helping hand to friends? How will
he effort for the progress of the society? ,i.e., who does not extend
helping hand to his own family member and to anybody, who would
come forward to help him in the hour of his need? This very is the
reverberation of the echo, reaction of the action.
O judicious one! The knowledge is not that which is simply a
store of words, hearing which ears are satiated, the tongue may be
honoured learning by it rote. The true religion/ attribute is that which
may be of use in social behaviour. Even the Guru loves that disciple
who may live imprinting the teachings of Guru on his mind/ life. The
griefs of the world do not grieve the virtuous conductful learned one.
Thorns do not pierce him and he also neither makes any one grieved
nor pricks thorns to anyone. The first duty is of parents who give birth
that they should keep the heart and brain of their offsprings sound,
broad-hearted installing in them good sacraments. The second duty is
of children that they should enhance the honour, decorum, dignity of
their family tradition and prestige of the parents. We should lead life

like the deities of the heavens should make their home heaven and each
member should live together like the deities.
O knower of the soul! Acquaint yourself with soul, that very is
the store of imperishable pleasures, where the immortality of self-wealth
is shining continually beyond the cycle of life and death. You should not
only become an exhorter for the beauty of the soul but should spare
time for the children of the family; should recognize the grief and
understand their needs. Always give good sacraments/ impression under
the cool shadow of affinity for averting/ destroying the suffering of the
world. If you become a responsible person for carrying out your liabilities
in a proper manner taking advantage of your experiences then your
offspring will worship you like a pious temple and shall get heavenly
pleasure on your feet.
O worthy sons of Indian soul! You have certainly took birth, but
it is absolutely necessary that you should understand your liability as
well, who gave birth, fostered, made you grownup, made you a good
human being by arranging good education for you, for them you should
spare at least two hours for carrying out your moral responsibility towards them, you are so much indebted to the parents of your one birth
that if you cause them to swing in the cradle till your whole life even
then you cannot repay their debt. You are neither indebted to your wife
nor to your sons & daughter and the wife is also not indebted to her
husband but each man and woman is certainly indebted to their respective parents. You should not regard your parents as burden, on the
other hand, you should be grateful to them that your parents giving you
good sacraments, taught you humanity and introduced you from human
to the God. They renounced all their pleasure-facilities for fulfilling your
desires.
Each parent visit their future in their children. They do ceaseless
effort for making their life most beautiful creation and that very creation
become so heartless, ungrateful which kicks away its own creator, reproaches and makes their living difficult. Oh! who regards us as their

own future, could we not live becoming even their today? There is only
one God on this virtuous earth, which gives shape to the shapeless;
who lives making his childrens pulsation as the pulsation of his own.
That God is our parents. If we could offer them who are our life- givers
even a little part of the benefaction done by our parents like
Sharavankumar, then we will get that indecaying store of their blessing
on our own from their, accumulated treasure of virtues like the
Kalpavraksha a (wish-fulfilling-tree). During childhood we made
the bed of the parents wet and as grown up we are making their eyes
wet, they taught you walking holding your fingers, they took you to
school. They breathed in the darkness of the griefs, so that you may be
happy. They used to laugh before you but remained weeping in lonely
place.
Today when they have become weak, incapable, ill, old then you
should hold their palm, i.e., support them, you should take them for
visiting places of pilgrimage, for visiting Guru, to the temple for worshipping and for daily recitation of eulogical prayers, etc. so that the
transcendental splendour of Shravankumar who was an ideal son of his
blind parents by birth could see itself alive by your dutifulness and
behaviour, may experience pleasure in your unique pleasure.
Each mother-in-law should understand her daughter-in-law as
her own daughter; should recognize her necessity and should teach her
lessons of courage and patience; should experience her grief as her
own. Daughter-in-law of today should also regard her father-in-law s
house and each of its members as family members of her own home. If
all the members of the family live, wear clothes, talk with good manners, proper etiquette then even the atomic power of the world cannot
break the family. We should not go ahead with our own personal ambition but should be ready to move unhesitatingly sensing the nerve of the
time and should prefer the beneficence of the family. The family does
not exist because of you but your very existence is there only due to
family. If this very thought illuminates the mind of all then the family will
be huge enough like the banyan tree and even the existence of the

heaven would be trifle before your mutual love-affection and affinity/


intimacy, the relation between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law would
be divine and pious relation like the relation between mother and daughter. The courtyard of the house illuminates with golden light and shade
precisely in this purity. You must always share sweetness of love among
all the members of the family and must defend the delicate thread of
affinity with seven-colour rainbow of coordination. The world dwells in
the trust, hence you behave with mutual trust. There is great necessity
of mutual harmony for saving the solitary life from griefs and for
maintaining the mutual equilibrium among all for which four points should
be adhered toTrust- should keep trust among each other.
Time- should spare time for sitting, discussing family issues together.
Talking- should maintain living and sweet speaking terms with
each other.
Touch- should give and take mutual cooperation.
When our heart will be so broad then the dirt cannot enter it and
there can be no rise of misunderstanding among us. If the doors of the
dialogue are kept open then the pus of enmity does not enter in discussion, the mutual amity does not break. Indeed, the co-existence does
not destroy if there is simplicity of mind and spirit of mutual cooperation and not even the play of hide & seek happens. The origination of
all perversities remains in the black heartedness. The seeds of mutual
acrimony get enlarged during course of time due to small-orbit of I &
Mine-ness. When the love and affection is the breath of life the kinship and intimacy is the sequence of living life, mutual cooperation is the
living body and the honour and respect of elders are divine eyes, then
how the joint family could be scattered, how the wall of ours and others stand in the flowing flow of life? Just there is need of mutual understanding and concord in which the home is made heaven and each

member of the home live like deities.


This very offering of love, renunciation, feeling of kinship and
collaboration make the family as an ideal one. The mystery of heaven
precisely resides in the warp and woof of ethical proprieties, only then
the home gets the beauty of temple and father-mother get the honour
like the God. Such type of home is built with the bricks of good feeling
of the members of the family and gets strength by dutifulness of its
members. You should stress/ emphasize more on mutual affection and
affinity than on wealth & property which are good means for making
others as our own. By filling the gap/ crack of the heart of all we can
make it a river saving their heart from becoming a fissure, i.e. removing
their mutual misunderstanding, then only the society will be built with
the family and the nation with the society, where the festivals of Holi,
Deepavali, Raksha bandhan and the music of the dignity of the nation
shall remain unbroken/ indestructible like the divine melody of the sea.

The field of religion is generous. It is not narrow hearted and it does not hate anyone, rather accepts that all
men can not be of same tendency. Just as the traveller of
one and same path walk but some go ahead while others
lag behind. If some one falls down, he should not loose
patience and standing up again should go ahead on the
path. He should not think of leaving the path at all.

Stop insulting

The guest coming our home is neither spurned nor it is proper to


leave the house ownself knowing the information of his coming. The
guest is accorded courteous welcome, hospitality, respect and honour
according to our cultural traditions, due to which our head remains
raised with self-respect and the luster of our noble ancestry always
remains illuminating.
Whosoever the guest, may be ours or of others, acquainted/
familiar or unacquainted, certainly the guest is guest who obliges the
host giving him a chance to welcome the guest. Then the death is also
our guest, the unannounced visitor, whether it is not the insult of our
near relation to be afraid of hearing its name? Well, it is accompanying
us as the shadow right from our birth. Neither flee away on its coming
infront of you nor take the refuge/ shelter of doctors, vaidya, spell,
incantation, medicine, nectar. Well, it is however, the insult of our most
benevolent friend, the death which causes to give a new beautiful body
ousting us from almost collapsing body by oldness, causes us to get rid
of great physical torture-giving-diseases as well as acquainting us with
the truth of the world, takes us on the path of fearing with the suffering
of worldly life and aversion from that. As long as we are accompanied
by body, mind so long the birth, old age disease and death exist. When
the body would not exist then the pure consciousness free from birthdeath placed in the body of knowledge will enjoy undisturbed power
of eternal bliss, , imperishable , self-realised, self-ecstasy happiness
beyond all sensual pleasures. Therefore, dont insult the guest seeing/
realising your oncoming death, dont make it distressed too by your
weakness but be careful, welcome the death with affinity and intimacy,
and celebrate the gala festival and be immortal.

Become body-less, immersing in own self


What restriction on the hand-bowl saint?
Why fasting the body, the co-traveller?
Who is free from attachment-aversion?
How bondage of new Karma to that wayfarer?

The friend of the friend is indeed a friend and the enemy of the
friend is also an enemy.
The above apt saying apply correctly on the worldly being entangled in the thought contrary to the real nature of the matter and in
passion. But who are beyond world even living in the world they relish
the savour of equanimity keeping themselves aloof from the thoughts of
foe and friends. They strive for getting the pitcher filled with equanimous feelings. They neither have poison of dissimilarity inwardly or
outwardly nor any context of liking or disliking. The worldly being wants
to extinguish fire with the fire, wants to clean the dirty clothes precisely,
with the dirt but it neither happened so far nor will ever happen in
future, then why to see friend-foe outside? That is only the reflection of
the inner karma which time to time makes us realise their existence,
fruition & dissociation after giving their fruit. Besides this, they give us
chance to take care of our contrary feelings by the coolness of equanimity and restraint. On the bank of the world there is neither grief nor
pleasure; neither any one is others nor is ours; neither there is poison of
dissimilarly nor the existence of similarity. All these exist in the fickle
flow of conscious thoughts of our soul. Well, outside there is only reaction of the action, is fruit of our deeds; is extension of the inert substance and is the infinite darkness of the blackness of our attachmentaversion. Hence, take care of yourself at every moment by adoring
gems-trio and take out your element of soul from other matters and
feeling and snares of options of mineness- thiness so that you may make
yourself as the self existent Almighty God, you may attain yourself

immersing in yourself. This very is the glory of the Karpatri (i.e. who
takes food in the bowl of his own hands, i.e. jain saint). It is the good
use of the co-operating body and is the appropriate measure for the
release from the bond of the bondage of Karmas.

If there is ascertained desire to obtain the place of


God in the form of religion of truth then the restraint saint
should remove the thorn of anger,should not be obstructed
by mountain of greed, should never fall in the pit of fear,
should abandon the demon of ridicule and should always
remain firm on the path of speaking in accordance with
the sacred spiritual injunctions, i.e. should speak words in
accordance with the scriptures.

There is whole world of difference (Vast differences)


between occurring violence and doing violence similar
to the difference between the work of a farmer and of
fisherman. The farmer cultivates land in which living beings
are killed but as he has no intention to kill living beings, he
is a man of non-violence character but the fisherman who
is planning fishing sitting even in the house ,is a savage (a
violent man.)

Attachment is not the cure of the disease.


Clouds rain as if happiness rains,
Field bloom as if life blooms,
In the autumn, the springs seems excellence.
In the abode of equanimity, the lifes wealth rains.

At the first sight, Ayurvedic physicians advise not to take


unwholesome food. The unwholesome food germinates and enhances
the disease and also gives shelter to the disease. Soundness of health
comes from the treatment of the disease and by taking wholesome
food because Apathey sati kim bhishaka, i.e. a diseased one taking
unwholesome food for him the medicine is of no use. Each and every
being born on the earth has come here with unhealthiness and is taking
unwholesome food in the form of attachment, delusion for getting rid of
the disease. The attachment is not the treatment of the disease Well, it
is the increaser of the disease of transmigration and is the protector of
the roots of the transmigration. But we imprudent do not go forward
even a foot without entangling in attachment. For giving coolness to the
body scorched in the flames of fire, we are precisely warming the body
in the fire itself and happily regarding it as the treatment of the burning
sensation. But the fire is fire, it burns, not assuages the burning sensation.
For getting coolness for treating the disease of transmigration,
there is need of proper self-accomplishment and not the means, resources of attachment. Till today we have precisely caused destruction
of the truth, of the restraint of our real-accurate wealth, of the attitude
of equanimity, of our homogeneousness, of our sense of good feeling
through attachment-aversion- infatuation, and precisely we got only
ocean of griefs by the tradition / succession of accelerating the disease
of transmigration and taking birth and getting death.
The Ayurvedic physician says Pathey sati kim bhisheg, i.e.,

if you are taking wholesome food then what is the necessity of


medicine? Either there will be no suffering from disease or if there is
suffering because of change in season then it cannot stay long. The
change is the rule of the world, the nature of the substance. In case
there will be no origination, disappearance (destruction) and permanence
then the substance would destroy becoming firmly fixed (not changing)
i.e. being counterfeit/ deceitful. But if there is interference of others, of
shelter, dependence, of support in the process of changing then that
cannot make us happy. The self-dependence is needed for happiness.
For, relishing taste of self-dependence the independence/ liberty is indispensable. The self dependence is the identity of the judicious person.
The wise/ learned takes support of only knowledge, that too not of the
divisible kinds of sensory scriptural, clairvoyance, telepathy (knowledge of others thought form) and omniscience but of unshakable indivisible general knowledge without any kind of distinction. That very is
self-experience in which the knowledge may experience knowledge.
Precisely, the self-experience is the experience of knowledge. Distinction means uncertainty ambiguity- extrovert- journey, dependence.
Therefore, the passionless scientist of discrimination does not think even
about sin-virtue, of taking of particular prescribed food. The judicious,
being of extreme passionlessness and absolute meditation, (i.e. in the
state of indeterminate ecstasy) takes support of only the nature of engraved/ carved knowledge of the soul in the state of right knowledge
about self, but when he is unable to remain in the nature of right knowledge, does not turn in inauspicious flow of consciousness for saving
himself from painful-cruel concentration but accepts the feet of the judicious one who is having experience of extreme asceticism (aversion
from worldly pleasures) with the sense of useful right knowledge understanding him beneficial in the accomplishment of pure flow of conscious (Shuddhopyoga) and take the support of the Parmeshthi placed
in the supreme position for moulding the conduct of restraint into the
conduct of spiritual engrossment. Certainly, this support will cause
immediate auspicious attachment with the Parmeshthi but would not
increase the disease of transmigration. On the other hand, it will do the

work of cool treatment for extinguishing the burning sensation of


transmigration of birth after births. But be careful, the cool treatment is,
however, only treatment, i.e. the diagnosis of the disease and not the
experience of complete good health. In case, the soul is not engrossed
in the self then this dependence (on the Parmeshthi ) can place the
adept off the track. The support is for going ahead on the path of spiritualism not for staying. If engrossed delightfully in the wholesome food
in the form of auspicious flow of consciousness then only God knows
what would be the fate of the patient suffering from the disease of
attachment. Then, there is no wonder if this right wholesome food itself
may turn itself into unwholesome. Hence one should take wholesome
food also according to the need and as per prescription/ direction given
by the great benevolent physician in the form of Guru got spontaneously then there will be no reason to be perturbed or frightened.

The way of ignorant walking with ignorance remains


very long, he has to weep in births after births and many
times in this birth, We should understand that and should
try to save ourselves (from that).

Do not afraid and confuse by the fear of death. Do


the devotion of Lord Jinendra. The death itself dies by
devotion and this human being becomes immortal.

That very man is happy in the world who possesses


less attachment and more contentness and that very is in
distress who has attachment and discontentness volition
more in quantity.

7.

The passion is an enemy of the soul

O brethren! The experience belongs to the present and that very


is true, the past was infinite and passed away, dont see that turning
back because due to seeing back the present lags behind and being
obsessed about the past, the present pleasure also becomes grievous.
Which exists today whether that will happen tomorrow or not? And if
will happen then what type of that would be? Hence, do not waste time
in the anxiety of the past, future, only enjoy/ utilize present living in the
present then necessarily you would become Vardhman (Lord
Mahavir) one day.
O brethren! In case, the soul will be full of attachment then the
experience of attachment would happen because the feelings of
attachmentlessness happen/occur in the absence of passion where no
new Karma-bond takes place. And the experience of pleasure-pain
due to rise of Karma is not felt in the state of passionlessness. Self
stability is within ourselves but the transformation of the passion and of
the vibration in the soul points (caused by mind, speech & body) do
not let feel its experience with pleasure and fancy. The peace which is
destroyed merely by the touch of someone that peace is not the peace
of nature. But the peace, which is not disturbed, even on getting objects of sensual enjoyments, outer means, facilities that very is the natural self-peace. Hence, the passion causes bondage and gives pain. It
does not leave the thought to wreak vengeance even on the verge of
death.
The birth / the present life-course changes but the succession of
griefs goes on increasing due to not changing the feeling of passion.
Only the passion is the great enemy of the soul. To strike ones own
feet with the axe by own hands is the celebrity of this very passion.The
judicious being does not let the darkness of the passion step in even for
a moment in the conscious courtyard of his soul. He remains vigilant,
performs all his essentials skilfully. Even in the state of negligence and
indolence, remains cautious like a burnt child dreads the fire. Neither

any of the high degrees of higher education of the world is needed in


the path of Lord Mahavir nor the wealth, property, grandeur, position
or authority, only the special degree of passion-sin, enmity needs to be
taken off. In case sometime if there is a fight with anyone, then dont
harbour it for lifelong. If by chance there happens enmity then it is very
necessary that one should have some room for friendship again in future.
O brethren! The truth does not remain in the anger, greed, fear
and in joking & jesting. The man who is harbouring passion is never
true to his word. The soul which is the form of truth does not remain
visible to him; the passion is not a sweet powder (Kasar- wheat flour
roasted in ghee and mixed with sugar), there is no sweetness in it. It is,
in fact, a poison, death. You are eating it happily and are embracing the
death. Live in the world like a virtuous man, an eminent personage, not
like a villain. That one who takes/considers other as other by the science of discrimination and takes his own soul as his own, that very is
gentleman/ virtuous man. The one who does not involve even in the
option/ alternative of own & other and considering the world like visiting dream with open eyes, remains engrossed only in conscious nature
of the soul that very is an eminent person (Mahajan, i.e., the great
man). But that who always lives only with the mentality of making other
matters as his own that one is Bahiratma ,i.e. follower of materialism,
is villain.
Oh brothers! Why are you making yourselves fainted, unconscious collecting outer materials. Precisely ,the attachment and
attachment to belonging, is sin. The doctors remain unable to give right
treatment to a person who is in the state of unconsciousness, then how
the treatment of the soul, experience of the soul and stability in ones
own soul would be attained while one is harbouring attachment to
belongings and passion?

8.

The Man with passions is a great enemy


of his own-self

O brethren! One, who accepts the existence of the God, accedes


all and who does not accept God, accepts none. Great adoration,
worship, particular procedural worshipping (Vidhan) give us an
opportunity of making our soul holy and pure. Our body becomes sturdy
and strong by taking food daily but for the satiation of our soul the
devotion of God and worship is essential. How long we nurture the
soul, how much we satisfy it, nobody knows this as well as you yourself.
We were getting body from immemorial births after births and will also
get in future.
We took birth and faced death in several life-courses. Many
times we had assumed disfigured and handicapped body. How much
griefs we caused to this soul of ours, is beyond description. Have you
ever experienced the agony to the soul going near it? If we could experience the pain/ache after conception, i.e. after coming in the mothers
womb then this being would never commit sin. As soon as this being
(Jeeva) takes birth on this earth, forgets that agony of the womb. Therefore, now we should not let our life to be prey of that catastrophe any
more.
O brethren! Precisely, the worship and particular procedural
worshipping (great worship) are performed for saving us from the mud
of sin. If you dont want griefs then renounce the causes of grief and
want to get pleasures then adopt the means of that pleasure. Hence the
passion, attachment-aversion, seven addictions, all these are the causes
of grief to your soul. The intensity of passion produces agony/ suffering
which is regarded as the cause of death. One who indulges in the passion, is precisely, the enemy of his own-self. He also breaches the peace
of the society & of the nation.
Hence dont make yourself grieved and also contribute for establishing the peace in the society & nation. The one who indulges in

the passion certainly spoils his present and at the same time his future is
also spoiled. If you want to be happy in the present, then never remember the past. Indulging in passion is a great violence. Indeed, you commit violence of yourself and also contribute in the violence of others.
That is why the passionate people fall prey of suicide. The suicider is a
great sinner. Always try to connect the blessing of the Guru with your
life in this sacred river of virtues, dont try to break it.
O brethren! Whose own life is joined together with the light and
nectar-mass, they never do the work of breaking, they always try to
connect. Hence, behold internal beauty not the outer one. Those who
improve their thoughts and conduct, are respected everywhere with
their good deeds. Hence, all and sundry should make their soul pure
and sacred.

The Knowledge of getting the God is got only through


the Guru. The mind of the Guru remains broad and
courteous, they are free from pride and hesitation, only
then they regard all and sundry as their own without any
distinction and show the path of beneficence to the society
through their preaching and knowledge.

9.

No self-identity by cramming words

O brethren! To regard the soul ,precisely as the body and the


body as the soul shows our ignorance, stupidity until and unless our this
ignorance will not change till then we cannot give up infatuation towards the body as well as attachment- aversion happening as a result
of that infatuation.
Hence it is indispensable to know the soul and the body as absolutely separate entities. Of course, from the behavioural point of view,
we regard this body as our soul, this is our ignorance, just as you regard the water mixed milk as the milk but the element of milk is different and the element of water is different.
O brethren! For getting something we have to lose something.
The seed could take precisely the huge shape of tree losing its very
existence. If it worries for its own existence then it will not get that
hugeness. The milk will have to destroy its existence then only the ghee
could be had from it. Just as the ghee is present in the milk but it is not
visible, similarly the soul is the store of infinite virtues and strength,
which can be manifested by the fire of meditation. Until and unless you
do not get hold of the army of infatuation, delusion into your grasp/
power till then the Karma of attachment & aversion would not make
you free from them. Hence first of all, it is essential to keep hold of the
commander in the form of infatuation.
Oh! Well, we got the introduction of the soul through words but
no purpose is served from the introduction alone. When the acquaintance turns into marriage only then the householdership runs through
Where there is natural state of disposition, straightforwardness and
modesty, the anger ,etc. perversions do not germinate there and you
can easily seize hold of the commander of the infatuation. Who live
with their faith and firmness they neither themselves go astray nor let
others to go astray.

Places of pilgrimage, Jina-temples and jain ascetics are means of


purifying and making our soul sacred. The soul gets purified and sacred
by devotion to them. This is only means not the attainable goal. Well,
our attainable goal should be to attain precisely, the supreme reality
(Tattva), for attaining that supreme reality, the sensitivity of feeling in
the inner soul is very essential. For getting that sensitivity of feeling it is
essential to give up the receptacles (resting place) of sin i.e. the homefamily. The sensitivity of feeling cannot occur merely by repeating, roting
or reading words, for that it is must to reflect it in the conduct.
SHORT-SAYINGS
* The right door for destroying the pride, is to see your
own grandiose form. The pride of Duryodhana remained
only till he did not see the grandiose form of Shri Krishna.
* The seed grows to touch the sky only after spreading
its roots in the earth.
* The development of the life is not attained by sitting
on the throne but by living with self-respect like the lion.

There are lot of pits of passions on the path of the


world, not on the path of salvation, adopt it and get spiritual
peace.

The path of salvtion (Moksha Marga) is the union


of religiously persevering courage, accomplishment and the
accomplishable, i.e.attainbale taking support of
accomplishment,the adept attains his attainable i.e.,
salvation.

10.

Victory of goodness over evil

O brethren! The festival of Dashera is the symbol of victory of


goodness and truth over evil. This day is the symbol of decorum and of
the death of egoism, pride. If the red glow does not appear before the
sun-rise a question mark of its very existence is raised. Just as the red
glow appears before sunrise and also after sunset, similarly one who
possesses the lamp of faith of the shelter of Deity (Deva), Scripture
and Guru, he remains triumphant for ever and at all times. Adversities
are the means of test, we should never perplex at the advent of
adversities. One who gets perplexed and flees away seeing the
adversities, is a coward. Lord Shri Ram passed the time of grief taking
that as pleasure. Hence, who take care of their decorum, i.e. ethical
propriety they all gain ideal of Ram and who give place for pride and
sin in their heart all those are people like Ravana. Whenever the ethical
propriety/ limit of decorum is transgressed, breaks, then the rain of
typhoon and cinders takes place. The Ravana was not a demon, he
had transgressed only one ethical propriety. How many ethical proprieties
you people transgress daily, is beyond description. Ravan kidnapped
Seeta and took her in the orchard but he could not even touch her.
O brethren! Even if the story of Ram may seem to you old but it
always gives aliveness. Those who are engrossed in sensual enjoyments,
passions and lust, to them this story may seem old but the story is
always a new one. The judicious man thinks before acting and the stupid repent after acting. Whose address of life is known seeing his demeanour; there is no address of them, i.e. they need not to display their
address. Their address of life is known seeing precisely their conduct.
Shri Ram was passionless person. He obeyed his father observing the
ethical propriety. You should also live always in the cool shadow of
your parents obeying their orders, and then each breathing of your
parents would become breathing of your life. The students who value
the time, keep their life style intact taking care of themselves, they very
become Ram, Mahaveer and Saint Acharya Shri Vidyasagarji.senses
sitting in the peaceful fine lake.

Attachment-aversion makes the soul


impure

O brethren! The life becomes virtuous, fragrant and excellent


keeping company of virtuous/ meritorious persons. The wind passing
near the flower garden itself becomes fragrant as well as makes the
atmosphere fragrant. The personality of the Teerthankar brings about
well-being of ownself and of others and also makes their progenitor,
the parents a great personage. We should look at the life of virtuous
person because his conduct grants happiness to every living being by
the sweetness of his speech. None becomes great personage in one
day. His each behaviour and the beauty of the soul make him gradually
great.
O brethren! The rose flower living happily among the thorns,
neither cares for the thorns nor is grieved with their piercing. It attracts
all by the beauty-delicacy and fragrance and gives message to remain
happy even in grief The man today likes wealth, not religion, wishes
pleasures not griefs but does not want to renounce/ abandon the causes
of griefs. Well, the evil tendency and passion make one remain far from
the good deeds and sows the seeds of suffering in the field of the soul
which causes the production of the crop of sin and the threshing-field
of the life is filled with the granary of darkness, dire-discord, obstacles
and humiliation in leaps and bounds. The fickleness of the mind, speech
and boby invites-attracts new and newer Karmas which are the fruits
of griefs and only griefs associated with impure and contrary dispositions.
O brethren! It is not bad to have acquaintance with the man and
matter (thing) but it is absolutely bad to regard them as our own. Until
and unless they are not regarded mine-thine till then there is total absence of good-bad options.
As soon as one is infatuated with the man-matter other than
ownself, immediately the mud of attachment-aversion makes the soul
dirty. We should neither enter the personal life of any person, nor should

enquire/ search closely about it. Only take care of the decorum-limit of
feeling of oneness with others then there will be no detraction and enmity with anyone. The medicines relieves the illness of the body and
grasping the exhortation of the Lord Jinendra destroys the disease of
transmigration. One who wants to save himself from the sufferings of
birth and death, he would not be required to go to the hospital of the
world well, he should take treatment at the hospital of the Lord of
lords. He should take the medicines of gems-trio sitting in meditation as
advised by the Lord Jinendra with uttering prayers of equanimity then
the disease of the transmigration would also be cured, destroyed, what
to say of the illness of the body. This very is the identity of the pure soul,
and the success of the science of discrimination as well as the grandeur
/ glory of conduct.

The poem should be like a creeper on this surface


of the earth. Just as the creeper exists with tender leaves,
similarly there should be good couplets in the poem. Just
as there are many flowers in the creeper similarly there
should be luster- brilliance of amusement in couplets of
the poem and the creeper presents fragrance to the largeblack-bee, similarly the poems should give heavenly birth
and wealth of rising pleasure and fragrant to the worthy
people.

12. Charity begins at home


O brethren! When you are ill then certainly you will have to take
medicine only then you will feel healthy. It is absolutely impossible that
the medicine may be given to some another person and you may get
cured. Similarly you yourself are the doer of your deeds and those
deeds are done due to passion and also the medicine for that will have
to be given through deeds only then this conscious element would feel
itself healthy, therefore start auspicious beginning for doing good from
your own-self, i.e. first of all you yourself become good by doing good
deeds. If you become good then the world will become good. Those
who have begun goodness from themselves, they alone got emancipation and they alone illuminate others. We become doer through YogaUpyoga, i.e. vibratory activities of the mind, speech and body and by
conscious flow of our auspicious inauspicious feelings. If we try to save
ourselves from inauspicious feelings then only we can become the doer
of our own-self but we feel grieved by our own endeavours of mindspeech and body. The deeds of passion always grieve by turning our
own kith and kin into other and others into still more others by shattering the mutual love into bits. It gives griefs at present and makes us feel
pain also in future like the hidden hurt/ injury gives whenever the lightning rambles.
Brethren! If you want to save your own-self then take care of
your feelings. Save your own-self from inauspicious feelings. It is our
ignorance, mistake that we are running the family like a dog who is
walking under the cart understands that cart is moving on his hint. I say
that the transformation of each member of the family is altogether different from other members. One substance cannot transform itself into
other substance -form. Then why we feel agony? Why we get irritated
on each other? Why we try to show our-self as different from other
members. Our this very attempt makes the family scattered. Hence,
whenever we will get irritated, we will become scattered, because the
Jeeva-king (soul) does crime and the matter substance, (i.e. body) is

beaten. The knowledge-obscuring Karmas are being done by the king


in the form of soul, but certainly the body will have to pay price for it. If
our thoughts/ feeling are pure the aggregate of karmic molecules
emanating from our within will also be pure. If there is passion in the
mind then it also appears outside. Hence you should oust your internal
passions then only you could feel tranquillity. Until there are guests of
passions in your home till then you cannot give peace to your home.
When those guests will take leave of you only then you would be able
to take care of your home.

I thank that soul


whose message shakes my soul.
I honour that heart
which has lighted the lamp of love in my heart,
I am dedicated to those feet,
which have taught me to walk.

13. There is no auspicious moment for


abandoning evil
O brethren! If man hesitates in divulging his sins, feels shyness in
telling them, then why does he commit such sins? We must feel shyness
on doing each and every evil work, not only in doing sin. Who are
willing to abandon evils, they should be immediately ready for it. By
which body you committed sin offence, by that very body you must
atone for those very sins of yours, then only you could become a righteous person. No auspicious moment is to be find out for abandoning
evils. The moment your good sense awakens to realize your sins/ evil
deeds, from that very moment turn out those evils from your mind &
heart. We all are guilty that is why we are here is the world. Whose
wisdom is filled with attachment-aversion; is smeared in passion, who
is fallen from the purity of his auspicious feeling, all such persons are
guilty. Hence, you all coming in the sense, accept your guilt. Your greatness will increase still more by this as who bows down is never inferior,
on the other hand, goes on becoming superior.
Brethrens! The illness comes by contrary feelings/ thoughts. Who
is positive in thinking, that only can understand others griefs. One who
troubles others he himself suffers from troubles; who has strength to
support other by heart, he himself is powerful ; who himself has learnt
to live, he also make others learn to live, hence it is essential to live
ownself pleasurefully and let others live pleasurefully. The one who
possesses feelings of universal welfare, his own welfare, is hundred
percent certain. The outer wealth grandeur is of no avail for the purity
of the mind , that indeed, manifests from within. Whose mind is filled
with positive energy, his life is like heaven itself. Person does not become
great by flattery. The man becomes great, precisely, by virtuous
disposition.

The life is a perennial journey which will never


conclude. If really you want to end this journey then give
up regarding it stable, permanent, indeed, it is like a coach
of the train in which people mount and get down, each of
them get down without moving by feeling of attachment
towards coach, as soon as the train stops at their desired
station. May it be good, dirty or may go wrong why should
we spoil our valuable time tangling in it. All are traveller,
neither anyone is our friend nor foe, all are going on
according to their own karmas, we should not feel
attachment-aversion, infatuation in them, should always
remain happy. Being faithfully dedicated to the goal and
doing our duty should become flow of the sacred water
like the flowing river.

The fear can make any one helpless, even if he may


be Indra, Chakarvarti, King or minister or valiant or
powerful, hence, we should not be frightened, Not only
collection of power is essential for wictory, still more
essential is to remain fearless.

14. Live in the mud like the Lotus


O brethren! The human mode of life is the most rare in the world.
The high caste family and right religion is even more rare/ difficult to
attain, the one who has made himself acquainted with the glory of the
human, he has made himself equipped with the high spirit for crossing
the ocean of transmigration through visible living Teertha. The washer
man washes cloths on the river-bank and who inclines to take bath,
clean there their body, but who makes the human mode of life itself as
the river-bank, i.e. ford, awakens his own conscious Lord ,(i.e. Soul)
by purifying it on that landing place (bank) that very is precisely the
clever/ skilful, self-benevolent washerman, a judicious one. The one
who washes indentifying ones own infinite virtues, in fact that very is
the art of becoming God from human and Narayana (a great
personage-Lord) from a simple human being ,(i.e. the Nar)
O brethren! Lord Kund-Kund Swami has bestowed a great
beneficence upon all of us worldly living beings by writing the canonical
great treatise Samayasar in which he showed the path of perception
of our own pure soul by providing the spiritual nectar for releasing us
from griefs. He said that who do not obey their Guru their life of spiritual pleasure does not begin, because there is no place of options/
hesitations and perversions of other matters in the self-form of soul.
Even the jailor of Karma of the jail of new world cannot also bind such
living beings. This very is the eligibility/ worthiness for becoming Almighty God, it is blossoming like lotus in the mud while keeping step in
the mud. The Lotus is the identification of the state of our inner thought
activities. When we live like lotus then even that mud of attachmentaversion of the world salutes us and we coming on the feet of the Almighty
Lord, become God being raised above by our righteous conduct. Here
all grind their own axes, but this soul, the well-wisher of all, did not
persevere for his own supreme beneficence, the one who devotedly
perseveres for his own supreme beneficence, highest spiritual good,
the salvation, he only is the real well-wisher.

O brethren! The self-interest of the worldly being is bread, clothes


and home. But the beneficence of the soul is in its true nature, in such
bliss which is beyond the range of senses, is free from birth-death, is
totally different from disease, pleasure-pain, hunger-thirst, sensual lust
Judicious, sensible wise living beings successfully search the path of
happiness in the state of griefs accepting their own performed deeds,
like the great chaste woman Seeta. They voluntarily accept their faults
not accusing others and attain the ray of the happiness in the very dense
jungle of sufferings through their equanimous meditation, by such right
notion that the whole world is predominantly functional. Till today we
have, precisely got only suffering by becoming doer of another and
taken birth in different birth places going astray from our duties.
O conscious soul! Now be conscious. By and large ,every instant, minute, ghari, day of this human mode is destroying gradually.
We are approaching near death. Hence by the time the lion of the death
may attack us prior to that we should engage ourselves in our own
beneficence. Know yourself turning your eye from all matters like an
adept. Gather your senses within yourself, which are running after sensual pleasures and protect yourself perceiving the eternal, untainted,
full of knowledge your own conscious pure soul.

Today present governments do care for the safety


of violent animals who roam about freely in the jungle. For
animals who always remain a cause of fear for human
beings, fearless-wild-regions (Abhyarana) are being made
for them spending crores of rupees and slaughter houses
of modern advanced technique are being made for animals like cow, ox, buffalow, etc.,who are helpful to human
beings and from whom useful material is obtained. It is a
thing of great shame for the country.

15. Guru introduce God to us


O brethren! paragon of saints, Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji has
granted divinity to the clay which is trampled underfoot by presenting it
as the hero in his Mook-mati epic. Adorning the clay with grandeur, he has said, The potter gives the shape to the pitcher. That soil
makes itself accomplished by the ordeal fire of its life, i.e. earns conclusive proof of its worth. Only after ordeal-fire it comes in the market by
taking shape of the earthen water pot and becomes the means of
quenching the thirst of people. Many messages of humanity have been
given in this great epic. The golden pitcher, silver pitcher may be excellent but only the clay-pitcher quenches our dry throat in summer season. Acharya shri has granted a new space to the outcry of dump living
beings by writing literature like Mookmati, I still remember the words
of Acharya Shri Dont attach yourself to the body, always keep eye
on the salvation. You will become God Had there not been the Guru
then we could not have been introduced to the God. Precisely, only the
Guru introduces us to the God. Who do not believe they may search
another for relief. Well, I see the God in Acharya Shri Vidyasagar ji.

I may do away with my ego,


But your mind will be clean, is not certain,
I may melt my stone of ego,
But your mind will change, is also not certain.

16. Life style grants authenticity


O brethren, if we are facing any contrariety or discomfort in the
social interaction then it is not anybodys fault, precisely, it is the consequence of our own earlier done deeds and accepting this we should
atone our those mistakes. We should not attribute allegation counter
allegation on others, on the other hand, should think that this is not the
result of todays Karma, the Karma which we had bonded earlier are
giving their fruits today. The man lives with what thought activity at a
given time, he precisely leads the same life at that time. For example if
there are thought activities of anger at a given time then at that time he
is leading a life full of anger. If he is filled with sexual lust then he would
see only the lustful life. Acharya Pujaypad Swami calls a hot tempered
person by the name of a furious one and a person being indulged in
passion., i.e. attachment-aversion by the name of passionate ; just as
a burning wood will be called as fire. The mother had taught that always speak truth, the truth never makes you fall in the trouble. Whenever the trouble/ discomfort came, it came due to untruth and untruth
always gets defeat. The untruth can never make us feel truth.
O brothers! Whenever thought activities will arise they will necessarily arise only in the living being and thats results will have to be
endured by the Jeeva. Hence whatever passionful thought activities of
attachment-aversion are there, they are of Jeeva. We should also protect mobile and immobile Jeevas. If we go on crushing them not taking
those living being as Jeeva well, then they will be called to have been
killed by our negligence/ carelessness and its fruits will have to be borned/
endured by the matter substanc,. i.e. the body.
Hence whatever passionful feelings are there they all are evidently
visible to us, they are in our practice. Hence attachment-aversion thought
activities do not belong to this body, particularly they belong to this
Jeeva. The Samayasar treatise shows us our reality. All citizens are
eligible for the post of President or Prime Minister, but only one man
gets that post. You will have to act corresponding to the eligibility/ ability

for that only then you can become worthy for that post. It is correct
that this soul is pure in all the three times (past, present & future), but
only an appreciative of merit can experience that purity as the state of
going astray does not eliminate by forgetting, it is eliminated by accepting
the mistake. Hence knowing our attributes, faults we should become
appreciative of merit , should never attempt to make the truth as untruth
and untruth as the truth, we should say thing just as it is. We should
refrain ourselves from speaking contemptible and harsh words, we
should not show partiality towards anyone because partiality always
germinates passion.
Hence, we should also keep the path in mind along with the
destination. Our life style in the social-interaction should also be such
that what conduct we want to project outwardly that should also be
same in our inner heart then only we could make ourselves authentic.

The one who makes good use of the time is precisely


fortunate. Make the human mode of life meningful,pay
obeisance to the God-Guru, learn to bow, ony then the
affinity will be obtained.

The time is not your slave, make good use of the


time, the time will become yours. Go forward with the
time, then only you will succeed.

17. Glory of the devotion


O brethren! What we are seeing that all is destroying at every
instant. This change is happening gradually at every instant. Birds come
from each of their direction, sit on tree, take rest for some time and
again leave for their respective places. Similarly is the mans life. Well,
we all are like birds who come and depart. We suffer from different
types of diseases. We keep ourselves worried becoming confused and
restless but the most eminent doctor is precisely devotion of the Lord
Jinendra and the most appropriate eminent medicine is also the devotion of Lord Jinendra. When the worldly medicine becomes ineffective
then only Lord Jinendras prayer works. Although we acknowledge
the existence of God but do not believe his power. Dhananjaye Seth
was a staunch devout of Lord Jinendra, a serpent bites his son, still he
does not become upset in the least and engrosses still more in the devotion
of Lord Jinendra. As a result the poison of his son goes on subsiding.

The mother is progenitor, earth, forbearance and


the sky. There is water-fall and sky of trust in the mother.
The universe is neither created nor managed in the absence
of mother. The mother gathers each light and shade of the
life in herself and becomes the instrument for the progress
of his son in the shade of her affection. The mother provides
food to her son even remaining herself hungry and keeps
the future of the son bright and pleasureful, enduring herself
griefs and troubles.

18. Only those get destination who do not


only tell
O brethren! The significance of life is not only in taking birth and
spending it. Its significance is precisely in making the life a living one by
dedicating it on the righteous feet. Just as there is an eminent (superior)
place of the moon among the stars, of the Sun in planets, of the Sumeru
among mountains, of the Ganga among rivers and that of the mango
among fruits, similarly there is significance/ importance of the forehead
among all the eight organs of the body. The land of southern India has
imparted /blessed continuity of the light of spirituality by giving birth of
many illuminating divine souls. Child Vidyadhar born in Sadlaga village
of Belgaon district became Muni Vidhya Sagar from Vidyadhar by offering libation of his life on the conductful feet of Guru Janansagar Ji for
attaining the eternal position of liberated soul {Siddha), abandoning
transitory materials, amenities in his very youth. The Yogi Guru chiselled Vidhaydhara, a Brihamchari beyond sensual desires and an unhewn
diamond and tested Muni Vidyasagar on the touch stone, also gave it
heat and realising him hundred percent pure gold declared him not only
radiant constellation of the spiritual courtyard but as the planet sun. He
at present is present before us as the paragon of saints Acharya Shri
Vidyasagar Ji.
Brothers! Who do not only tell but are engaged constantly in
doing, those alone get the destination in the times to come. Acharya
Jananasagar ji Maharaj ensconced this most able disciple on the throne,
the symbol of the position of Acharya according to the order/ tradition
of earlier Acharyas with appropriate religious rituals on 22nd November, 1972 at Nazeerabad (Rajasthan), thereby extended the uninterrupted stream of Lord Mahaveers tradition. Precisely the extra-ordinary
courage, patience and sense of detachment/ indifference to any post or
position, is the first stair of pleasure peace and of meditation. Acharyashri
has given a message to the world, not by words but by conduct. Acharya
Vidyasagar Ji being free from dense darkness of position, authority,

glory, power, is a non-violent human lion moving/ behaving like lions


inclination in the spiritual field, is an indestructible radiance of the faith
of human beings, celestial beings and of Kinnaras, etc. deities. Not
alone Jain society but the entire society, may be Hindu or Muslim,
Christian, Sikh or Parsi get pleasure seeing venerable Gurudeva in their
own respective form/ point of view. Acharya Shri presented new dimensions by developing Sanskrit and Hindi literature through his literary
accomplishment. He, by creating divine conscious creations, has
crowned the spiritual land of Bharat with glory and has taken care of
human society deviating from humanity by sowing seeds of right
sacraments. He has lighted the lamp of faith in the inner heart by applying
collyrium of faith in the eyes becoming blind in the race of materialism,
by establishing new fords Teerthas and by making them aware of science
of discrimination, of beneficial-non-beneficial, and of our-own and
another. Acharya Shri has given the nectar pitcher in the form of
Bhagyodaya Teertha to the diseased society by body and mind
assimilating the message of Bhagwan Mahaveer, Live & Let Live for
making the society immortal.
O brothers! The paragon of Saints Acharya Shri Vidyasagarji
Maharaj who has declared the slogan, Cattle-protection, is countryprotection and who initiated for the construction of cattle-herds instead of godowns (palatial buildings) has said, Precisely the Jeeva
protection, i.e. giving protection to living beings is the excellent charity,
it is gift of life and is to obey the order of the God, this very is the
worship, this very is the development of human virtues and is the
installation of non-violence, precisely the non-violence is, in fact, the
religion, is the ensign of Jina-discipline, this very is the stair of selfprogress. The power of authority is not gained by torturing living beings.
If you want to gain power of authority then follow the non-violence &
truth. The one who being positioned in authority establishes religious
state equitably with truth & morality that only is entitled to be positioned
in authority. Well, Acharayshri is doing his own well-being by observing
all of his 36 basic virtues, he by educating, consecrating and establishing

Chaturvidh sangh,(i.e. group of Muni, Aryika, Male & Female


devotees) has contributed firmness to the Jina-discipline, to the nations
prosperity and to the society. Many adepts have concluded Sallekhna
Samadhi , (i.e. holy death ) in the proximity of venerable Gurus feet
thereby celebrated their vow-completing ceremony , have accepted
death as a great festival abandoning the fear of death. The proximity of
the Guru makes the life victorious ,i.e. successful and the death as a
festival. Precisely, the Guru is the very source/ foundation of mediation,
the worship of the Guru is the core/ gist of life, Gurus words are
excellence incantation and the shore of the world/ birth exists only on
the feet of the Guru.
POSITIVE THINKING
One man asked Nepolian, what is the mystery of
your success? Are there any other supernatural powers
with you, then Nepolian replied with natural state of mind,
If we continuously persevere with complete honesty and
dedication by resolving for the attainment of our goal, then
the success is sure.

When the sense-frenzied rutting elephant is caused


to enter the depraved - forest of attachment - aversion,
lust by his passionfal mahout, then the scene of devastation
is created every where. This very is the cause of world
and is the home of grief, but when the man of virtuous
conduct takes up the journey of introspection by causing
it to march on the simple road of all the four expositions of
Jain religion and of twelve scriptures by an iron goad of
knowledge and becoming supreme meditation - natured
warrior, manifests his valour then he becomes master of
infinite, ineffable,supernatural peace beyond the reach of
senses sitting in the peaceful fine lake.

19. Open your complexes


O brethren! Today we see that the poor and illiterate persons
are having mild passions while the wise ones have intense passion. We
could not abandon passion & infatuation although the life is on the verge
of end. Well, it is not so easy to abandon the infatuation. Once the man
may be saved from the whirlpool of water but it is not easy to be saved
from the whirlpool of infatuation-delusion. We and you all are destined
to depart from this world still then whether we could be able to leave/
abandon this world? Even if we would have tried to obtain release
from the complex of delusion, infatuation, then understand we have
tried to understand our nature of self. Well, we keep ourselves alert,
smart and in good condition in all worldly activities but when we would
make our soul smart?
Brothers! If you want to get rid of infatuation then make yourself
stable like the wall. Someone is speaking ill of you, also abusing, if you
do not pay any heed to him and become stable like the wall then he will
go on his own after chattering for some time, similarly, how much the
Karmas may trouble you if you show stability then the Karmas will
depart on their own. Hence, take care, defend yourself as only that one
could assume knowledge-perception, conscious flow of thought process
(Upyoga) in right direction who is able to take care of /to defend himself,
he only improves his characteristic and attains enlightenment gradually
achieving his goal.The path of salvation is available to those who secure
cent-percent marks, in case of least attachment then unsuccess is certain
because who is concerned with the Lord Jinendra, he does not believe
in outer means.
Brothers! If we are failing in abandoning infatuation with worldly
things then how much we may become good, spiritual sermonizer, may
teach to abandon deception, showing the deceit as swindler, we
ourselves may be cheated by it then who is cheated by whom, think
over this in your heart. First of all it is difficult to reach in the
Samavsharan of Lord Jinendra and reaching there may listen to his

sermons is still more difficult, who on listening implents that in practice


only that one will be called devout, the believer in God and his word.
So much race for worldly gain and no care of ones own soul? If you
want to experience the essential nature of the soul, then it is essential to
open your complexes. The availability of right knowledge about self is
never possible with attachment to belongings. When there is so much
sensitive feeling, pleasure in the discussion of soul and when it will
manifest in practise then there will be rain of bliss and ecstasy. Your
soul becoming effulgent will glitter like gold.

If the journey is meaningful then the pleasure is


beyond description. The experience of love delights, and
there is no experience of pain. The happiness expands in
meeting our kith and kins. What we got, the love of that
tickles. The aim of the journey is to make the life meaningful
alongwith the time. This very meaningfulness makes the
journey as pilgrimage. This very journey makes us clean
like the river flowing with sweet rippling and keeps us pure
in which there is no pause, crossing over each halt after
halt, attains the goal.This very journey of life becomes the
journey of our ecstacy.

Difference seen between words and acts is due to


inactiveness of the citizens of this country Bharat. We
while blaming the government forget that the government
is formed by us by electing them as members of Parliament,
etc, .but afterwards we let them go loose. If our sense of
honour (self-respect) is awakened then the work of
stopping export of meat is of few miniutes job

20. The Guru is a must for spiritual


ultimate good
O brethren! It is not only reflection, contemplation (Bhavna)
that I am pure, enlightened, having nature of knowledge, conscious
soul but it should particularly manifest in our experience and conduct
only then we can perceive gems-trio. Just as the belly is not filled with
sentiments/ suppositions, for that food is indispensable, similarly for the
attainment of gems-trio., i.e. right faith, right knowledge, right conduct,
the abandonment of all the five sins is inevitable, then only we could
remember the reflection contemplation of loneliness in our soul.
Hence, merge your entity into yourself. I am pure soul of the
nature of knowledge and perception and other substances/ materials
are not mine in the least. This contemplation cannot be evoked without spiritual good, the highest truth. For the accomplishment of spiritual
ultimate good, the existence of the Guru is a must as the knowledge
cannot be gained without the Guru and without knowledge the highest
spiritual good cannot be attained. Hence for awakening our soul there
is necessity of supreme Guru because if the seed tells the farmer that it
does not need him (farmer) then whether it will grow on its own?
Similarly for attaining that supreme element, there is necessity of a great
good Guru.
Brothers! The Gurus favour is peculiar in the world. Who is
without Guru his life has no beginning. It may well be that mother-father
have given birth but only the Guru makes our life meaningful. Acharya
Jaisen Swami says that even if I may become Sidhha, the liberated
soul, even then I cannot forget my Guru. But who is dependent on
other he cannot do his good. Hence, be self dependent by the inspiration
of the Guru as only the self-reliant man earns respect and subservients
go on roaming in vain in the world.him as your own.

21. Regarding other thing as ones own, is


grief
O brethren! The good company and good moral conduct are
needed for the beauty of the soul. It is crime to keep others in your
possession. If you want to free yourself from the crime then return that
thing to its real owner. There is difference between crime committed
knowingly and committed unknowingly. The crime committed knowingly comes under the category of violence. While done unknowingly
will also come under violence but you will not be subjected to punishment. According to Karma theory crime/ passion committed knowingly or without taking appropriate precaution, negligently then the fault
will be appended according to the crime committed but if after due
care and precaution the violence is still committed then relatively mild
fault will be appended. Worldly courts also decide cases on the basis
of intentionally committed crime and committed unintentionally. We daily
perform Pratyakhiyan, i.e. we beg pardon daily from Lord Jinendra
for our faults. If we beg pardon outworldly only by words and internally may not follow it in practice then, in fact, that begging-pardon is
not begging-pardon. What has been abandoned, abandoned that forever, then not the least of that should be regarded as ours.
Brothers! If the feeling of attachment to the abandoned thing
persists within your inner heart then that abandonment is of no use.
When there is uncertainty in the mind or attachment in the heart then
how that would be abandonment? ,the right knowledge about self cannot take place and without right knowledge about self there can be no
state of indeterminate ecstasy, i.e. absolute meditation. The one who
will live regarding others thing as his own, is a suffering person and
who will live with renouncement regarding others thing as of other, is a
happy person. The feelings of pleasure-pain do not come from some
outer source, these all exist within us. Feelings of anger ,etc. open the
doors of hellish life-course. Precisely, the passion-stained souls activity
(leshya) ,i.e. thought-feeling introduces us to the auspicious & inaus45

picious matters. Hence harmony between our thoughts and our life is
essential. We ourselve should see our transformation of feelings. If they
are in harmony with our thoughts, then it is ok otherwise it will akin to
the non-harmony between your thought and those of your wife due to
which the life becomes hell. Where there is no carefulness, the accident
happens only there. Hence the life is your own, live it with intimacy and
self-respect. If you have renounced outwardly with due care then carry
it on honestly. If you are internally/ intensely attached to the thing then
you will not be able to renounce that. If we have learnt to accept our
mistake only then we can get rid of our sins by correcting our mistake.

Well , it is easy to become mother, but making


children cultured is very difficult. There are many mothers
in the world but nobody can forget mother Trishla, the
mother of Mahaveer, Marudevi, the mother of Adinath,
Kaushalya, the mother of Ram. The true mother is only
that who sows the seeds of following three virtues in her
children 1.

He should be a devout of God.


He should be a bountiful.
He should be a valiant.

22. Look at your own property, not of others


O brethren! It is essential to know the relation between our soul
& the body. If you regard other substance ,i.e. body as your own then
in fact, you have not known the soul as yet. Until & unless you do not
cause enter your flow of consciousness i.e. Upyoga within your inner
ownself till then you will not get rid of attachment-aversion thought
activities even if you have renounced all your belongings but you have
not become free from inner wave of attachment, abandonment of that
is very essential. Just as the nature of the water is watery / liquid, not
wave ,the waves are being created by its stirring, (i.e. deviating from
the right path). As soon as there will be stability the sensual enjoyments
& passions will vanish on their own.
Brothers! We are not enlightened as yet, till then the mildness
must exist in attachment towards world, towards family and towards
sensual enjoyment and passions. The purity is increased by the mildness of passion, the experience that not even an atom particle is mine,
is helpful in minimising our grief. What wealth property we have collected that is not proving useful to us then it is but only worldly
involvement, mere attachment to wealth. This race of mirage is a never
ending race. We are not being able to take care of our own property
,(i.e. soul) and are being engaged in competition for making others
wealth as our own. You take care of your own property and of your
existence. The eye that you have set on the wealth of other, when you
will turn a blind eye to that then your grief will go away on its own.
Look at your own wealth (soul), not at others property and persevere
to come close to your own soul. Well, we see that the wealth is increasing
but we are not seeing the death coming nearer us. The wealth is for life,
not the life for the wealth. Just as your attachment to the wealth &
property will be removed in that proportion your attachment/ infatuation/
will end. Just as the disguised appearance in the drama is not true,
similarly dont regard this appearance (attachment to wealth, etc) true.
Only slow witted people consider others thing as their own. Well, you

all are wise & judicious person then why this distressing feeling? When
these feelings of attachment-aversion are not yours then why to be
angry? This wealth property will make you servant of Laxmi (The goddess of wealth) until and unless you roll about on the feet of wealth till
then it will go on kicking you and will cause you to weep and the day
you kick it., i.e. become indifferent to it/avert your face from it, it will
roll about on your feet.

The earth endured all griefs but did not complain,


neither it demanded any thing from its offspring nor
expected. It knows only to give and particularly to rob is
totally absent in its breathings. That one has won over all
obstacles who understood the earth. The sky may well be
above but the mystery of its beauty is with the earth. It is
difficult to touch the height of the sky, but who has spreaded
his roots in the heart of the mother and who has irrigated
his life with the nectar of the mother, that very is more high
than the sky.

All are born as Sudra (member of the fourth and


lowest division of early Indo-Aryan Society), the newly
born baby and his/her mother both remain untouchable,
they are regarded pure (touchable) after bath and
purification by name giving rite. It is also seen that the son
of learned man remains stupid, while the son of the fool
becomes leaned, therefore, people should not have pride
of their high caste and should try to earn meritorious repute.

23. Temples are means of delighting the


soul
O brethren! If we pray on the feet of Lord Jinendra with right
faith, then that prayer is surely accepted. We made ourselves acquainted,
to a great extent, with exterior matters but did not effort to have acquaintance of our own inner-self, that is why we are roaming in vain,
aimlessly. When an stray person straying and wandering all around returns home being tired and pray Almighty, then that prayer done with
true faith, is certainly accepted. Hence, you should have reliance on
your right faith. Dedication on the feet of the Lord and the Guru, is your
right faith.Therefore, worship, adore by ensconcing Lord in your heart
with right faith.
O brother! It is an accepted principle that the darkness and light
cannot remain together in the heart, hence, where there is virtue, the sin
does not exist there. Therefore, dont narrate your pain hither and thither,
narrate your pain only there, where you have right faith. Dedicate yourself on the feet of the Lord Jinendra with right faith and belief. Although
the great worship (Vidhan) and normal worship are means of manifesting infinite attributes in our soul, yet the person who bows down
internally, his life does not remain hard but used to remain tender. Hence
temples are the means of delighting our soul, not of recreation or amusement. Hence whenever you go to the temple then, try to touch necessarily the height of the soul because the flow of which river gets dried,
that loses its beauty and also remains unable to cause pleasure for others. Hence, if the life is lived with the art of living, the pleasure of living
that life becomes double. Therefore, you all should try to live life with
right faith.

24. Broaden your mind and be broad


O brethren! If you wish to be praised by people then first of all
you should make yourself able in the form in which you want to exhibit
yourself before people. If abandoning the sensual enjoyment a brother
throws down stone on his own real brother even then he does not
retaliate. The feeling of revenge causes restlessness, tension and animosity/ hostility. When attachment , passion are suppressed within ourselves then the stream of delight bursts open/flows on its own, because, precisely the external beauty vests in internal beauty. Those who
take care of their life then their life is propped up on its own accord.
Even if you will go to the God with passion then there also your mind
will move in opposite direction.
O brothers! Whenever you go in the refuge of sage-saints then
go leaving your passions precisely in your home. Then only you can
expect your good, as the God and Guru are only instrument, the affluent cause is of your ownself. If you will understand your own affluent
cause, then your life will become meaningful. Those who live being
scattered, they neither are able to do good of themselves nor are able
to give something to the society. Precisely, the society and organization
are excellent of all. Keeping it in view minimise your respective passions and broadening the mind, prove yourself as broad-hearted. The
one who does not understand others life and their pain, can never do
his own good. The one who has feelings of pity, compassion and equanimity towards all living beings, that only possesses the strength of having broad personality, whose mind laughs, the feeling of pleasure also
reflect on his face. When the mind is filled with contrariety/ adverseness and tension then wherever you go, you return with more tension
from there. Therefore, whenever you go to the God (visit temple) then
dont go there merely for seeing Him otherwise he will also tell. Okay,
I will see.
O brothers! Go in the refuge of the God & Guru for seeing your
ownself in them. He may cast a glance at you or may not but you must

return with assuming their conduct in the temple of your heart. If we


have spoken ill of any one or any wrong had been done to anyone by
us then that should be kept always in memory necessarily, so that we
may not repeat that evil in future. If anyone had harmed us, must have
spoken ill of us then dont keep it in your memory and if anyone had
done any good to you, always bear that in the mind and in case you did
any good to anybody, forget that. One who bears all these in mind both
his future as well as his present gets improved/ reformed.

The pleasure is not out side, it is within ourselve,


only there is need to be acquainted with it.
The Lord is happy by himself and shows the way to be
happy to all and sundry. Call the Lord Jinendra with the
purity of heart & mind, all your dire misfortunes will go
away and you will be released from the circular journey of
birth and death.
The prayer done by true heart/mind and with true
dedication, is surely accepted. The prayer is the courtyard
of the minds vastness where griefs of all are solved.

That worthy man should exists in the world who


becomes very happy observing even a trivial quality of an
another person and pays respect to him but does not regard
even his excellent qualities as of some merits. Who does
not cast a glance at the faults of others and grasps the
qualities where- ever they are found,is a worthy one.

25. Doerism: Motive & effluent cause.


O brethren! The effluent cause (Upaadan) is excellent but the
motive (Nimitta) of affluent cause should not be forgotten, the value
is of your breath otherwise it is piece of bamboo. The intonation came
out from the flute that is the cause (Nimitta), but had your breath not
entered the flute then whether that flute was capable of sounding the
tone? ,i.e. the affluent cause was of yours but the motive/ cause was of
that piece of bamboo. When you carefully played on flute then it came
out in the form of song, which was appreciated by all. All praised your
intonation. If the flute thinks that in case it (the flute) would not have
remained there, then the flute-player would not have been praised, in
fact, it is its mistake. It is correct that we do not cause anybody to do
any work, even then we should be grateful towards that, as even this
earth does not hold the load of the ungrateful person.
O brothers! The living being (potter) is not the creator of the
earthen pot, the potter made the earthen pot from the clay hence here
the clay is the creator/ maker. If the clay had not been there, how that
charming earthen pot would have been made? But the creative power
and conscious flow is of that potter. If he would have not applied his
creative power and conscious flow (Yoga & Upyoga) then whether
that clay would have gained that beautiful form? The creative power
and conscious flow pertains to the soul. We can make our this pot of
the body beautiful only by the knowledge and flow of consciousness.
But dont regard yourself as the doer/ creator otherwise you will be
entangled in the ocean of the world from where the quagmire of the
passion would not let you protrude, therefore if we are not the doer of
anything then why should we indulge in passion? Why should we entangle
ourselves, we should make our thinking positive. When you see
substance by absolute stand-point then you should analyse your soul
and when you think by practical stand point then you should cast your
glance at your body.
O brother! You should not discriminate with your soul. whenever

you discriminate between your own and of others, then it gives birth to
differentiation within the family. Hence, should not view with narrow
mindedness. Even a trifle activity creates dire difficulty in the family. We
are required to take care of our ownself., i.e. we could be doer of our
own , not of any other. We are effluent cause of our own .This human
mode of life has been gained with much difficulty, hence we should
involve ourselves in auspiciousness saving us from inauspiciousness.
That one who looks at the body that one indulges himself in sins. Hence
always make your thinking positive. Even if the house-holder can keep
himself away from the feeling of doerism then he can be immersed in
the supreme meditation

The holy feet of Jinendra Lord touched which earth,


that earth became blessed, the soil became example of
adoration transforming sandal from soil. The venerability
of the Lord granted venerability to that soil and power of
curing troubles of all, gave it the form of ford (Teertha)
making it permanent source of the Devine energy of his
own accomplishment, made it base for ascending upward
for the living beings of the world.

Just as the very thought of Garuda the venom of


a snake is destroyed, but not by taking heron as Garuda,
Similarly it is only through the unflinching faith in true God,
spiritual master, scripture and the realities along with true/
knowledge and conduct, one attains final liberation, not
by false gods etc.

26. Be cool and impart coolness.


O brethren! What feeling we have exactly same fruit we get.
Who made their feeling sacred/ pious they became God, attained the
path of salvation. For becoming God (Lord Jinendra) first of all, you
will have to be a aspirant to become Lord because when feelings are
there in mind then only one marches ahead toward that. For becoming
Lord Jinendra it is indispensable to assume right conduct by which the
development of life begins. Hence, the thoughts, feelings are of your
own, even the God cannot mend them. How much you are deteriorated and how much improved? this nobody knows better than you.
Either you know yourself or God knows.
O brothers! It is the principle that until the tears of repentance
are not shed till then you cannot become pure. These temples, great
worship (Vidhan) ,etc, are not things of exhibition, these are things of
observation and instrumental cause of sensitivity of the truth. By it we
make our passions less reducing our attachment. If our inner passion is
not vanished even coming on the feet of the Lord and could not reduce
the attachment, then where will you go? If the God is not seen even
coming near the God then who will be more unfortunate than that person?
The Lord Sheetalnath Swami, who first of all freed his own-self from
the sins himself afterwards he showed the path for becoming free from
sin. Who himself is cool, only that is able to impart coolness to others.
Therefore, making use of these instrumental causes make your soul
cool, dont look at others, dont laugh seeing others blackness, see
your own blackness. What amount of ill we have done to ourself, that
much we cannot do of others. If we all search in our hearts then we will
be able to find it.
Nobody is more bad than me. The disease begins ,precisely from
the stomach and chest (i.e. safe, box). This stomach generates the
diseases of the body and the mental diseases are created by the chest.
Hence dont be doer of others dirty habits. You yourself should become
watchman of yourself and you yourself keep watch on yourself.enjoyer
of my won thought activities and none else.

27. You will never be old


O brethren! The narrations in Samaysar have been narrated,
precisely aiming at the soul that the soul is pure in all the three times
(past, present and future). It is placed in the pure form. You are being
made to understand that attachment-aversion is not your nature then
why are you moving towards that. Acharya Bhagvant made us feel
that you are in the world but your nature is not worldly. In what attachment-passion you are indulging that is not yours. Return in your nature,
you should ask the soul about its weaknesses making it your own friend
and when you come to know these then mend them. What goodness
rests in you, manifest that. What is evil, abandon that, you will become
God, i.e., the attachment-aversion thought feelings are not of your own,
because you indulged in them, they became yours. When you go out of
the house only then the colour is poured on you during Holi festival. If
you remain, precisely in the home then who can dare to pour colour on
you entering the house. Similarly, the Karmas say that as soon as you
came out of your home, (i.e. the soul ), then they (Karmas) will make
you coloured with passions. As many as the aggregate of the similar
karmic-molecules are there, they all relate to the body, not to the soul.
The soul may goes on indulging in attachment-aversion and Karma do
not stick to it, this can never happen. Only the wise can take care of
himself.
O brothers! It is very easy to solve the problems of others but it
is difficult to solve ones own problems. The one who is able to solve
his own problem only that becomes able to prop up himself. If committed
offence then punishment of that will have to be endured. If did Karma
then the fruit of that will have to be endured only by you. Not even the
God will be able to save you. Now improve your thought feelings. If
thought feelings are good then the person will not become prey of old
age even if his age is on the verge of exhaustion. When you were young
then did not think of self well-being and when the old age came now
you think, what will happen now? if you did good in your youth then

your wrong can never happen. Only men perceiving the soul by the
pure absolute standpoint are able to experience pure absolute standpoint.
If you come out of the soul, then you will have to do all the activities of
behaviouralism. Just as when the milk and water are mixed then they
cannot be separated, similarly the soul and body are like the milk and
water. Even any swan cannot separate the milk from the water., i.e.
nobody can separate the soul from the body except his own effort in
right direction.

Someone may adore or abuse, praise or disgrace,


may offer oblation or not, may agree to the preaching of
God or not, they (Siddhas) remain immersed in their own
nature and bliss. To immesse in the soul gives pleasure
releasing from grief. To entangle in others is to remain
distressed, is to spoil time and humanity.

Who gave birth if the entire belongings may be given


to them even then their debt cannot be paid. The service
to the parents is the utmost excellent work. To immerse
ownself in their service is, precisely, the cause of ecstasy
and where ecstasy is obtained there is no feeling of being
neglected. There is confidence of ones own existence.

28. The laziness destroys the work


O brethren! The traveller without destination is like that kite which
has been cut and is destroyed falling in the shrub. Samaysar is the
instrument in putting the full stop on the infinite journey of life that turns
the life into infinite, imperishable position ,(i.e., Siddhatva) by revealing the personality of the person. Acharya Kund Kund Swami has
suggested to make life auspicious by inspiring to lead life with auspicious conduct in the Manglacharan (the prayer for auspicious beginning) of the treatise Samaysar. He told that the traveller tires in the
journey also stops, also takes rest for sometime as the stopping, tiring
is but natural. After removing the weariness he again proceeds towards
his destination. There is no state of stopping long. Only walking is his
fate until he gets his goal. Every man should have purpose of his life as
without purpose, the life is futile, is like a mad man.
O brothers! Perform devotion of Lord Jinendra with thought feelings and not merely by words. The devotion and adoration of God
make yourself adorable. What virtues are present in the God, the same
may also manifest in me. Only this should be the purpose/ motive of
devotion and adoration. If Shravaka (devout) does activity prudently
then only that activity is regarded as completed. Immature and contrary
activity remains unfruitful. Protection of living being should be our aim,
who shows laziness in protecting living beings, that can never be a nonviolent. The lazy man destroys his own work and disrespecting his
ownself becomes recipient of disrespect among all because skill gets
respect in public interaction. The soul gets self-respect remaining aloof
from laziness. Hence, the worship of feet of worshipable makes ownself
worshippable. Paying respect on the feet of the Guru the courteous
man lifts himself up. But the worship of Lord Jinendra surely makes us
fortunate God.

29. Delusion is the commander in- chief of


KARMAS
The soul is precisely the body and the body is just
soul, this is ,in fact ,an ignorance. Unless this ignorance
does not change, till then this living being can not give up
affection, delusion and attachment, etc., towards body and
auspicious-inauspicious feelings being produced by them,
can not realize the reality of the soul. Practically ,we regard
the soul and the body identical existing together but when
we talk about to get pure element then we will have to see
both as separate entity, just as the water is mixed in the
milk. For separating the water from the milk we are
required to give it heat of the fire, and as the portion of
water will go on evaporating, The Khoaawill become
ready. You will have to lose something for getting something , similarly there is infinite store of virtues, and power
with in the soul. The attachment-aversion, etc., feelings go
on reducing by the fire of meditation and this very is the
journey from behavioural conduct to the absolute
perception.

Those who are intoxicated by wealth, do not listen


to the beneficial, if at all, they do listen, they do not
understand it, if they do understand, they do not follow it
and if per chance, they follow it, they do not attain
perfectation in their endeavour.

30. Clean your soul with the soap of restraint


O brethren! That which is visible, I am not that because the form/
nature of my soul does not contain any sign/ property of taste, smell,
appearance and colour. This form exists only by the company of
pudgala (body). Hence, for getting the pure reality, you will have to
prop up yourself, make effort for getting identical gems-trio with restraint. Well, we undertook journey to sensual enjoyments again and
again in our extraneous form. You should enter the nature of your own
self for getting the nature of soul. What activities we have done so far,
they all were the activities which prolong the world taking support of
the world that is why we remained deprived of ultimate happiness beyond all sensual pleasures. The state of dependence always grieves
and causes us to go astray. Hence, always walk seeing downwards,
walk protecting mobile and immobile living being, because we can proceed further in our journey only keeping thought feelings of senserestraint, (i.e. desistance from sensual pleasures) & vitality restraint.
What-so-ever passionful thought-feeling of attachment-aversion, etc,
are there, they exist in the living being, are in generation of the Jeeva.
All these thoughts feelings of attachment-aversion, are precisely the
army of our soul.
O brothers! The characteristic of our soul is pure, consists of
perception and knowledge in which there is not the least entry even of
an atom of other substances. Until you become such, till then the attainment of pure soul cannot be gained. If the attachment thought feelings
of our inner self are not destroyed then this living being will go on moving stray in 84 lakhs number of birth-places. Hence clean blackness of
the soul with the soap of restraint. The state of non- negligence cannot be
attained without restraint.
There is no necessity of being perturbed by the Karmas. They
are not our enemy Well, they are our friend who always used to make
us alert. Experience merely their existence in your respective consciousness identifying your respective characteristics. Try to identify your inner59

form by the preaching of the Guru. The Self-form can be catched by


the right knowledge about Self. If you will be attached to the body then
the state of non-confusedness will not come and the experience of consciousness also cannot be felt. Hence, until the external possession
together with the attachment to belongings are not abandoned completely till then you cannot remain stable in your inner-self.

The ford, the place of pilgrimage, is a symbol of


dust-foot of the Teerthankara, is the one from where people
cross over the ocean of the world, where sitting, the Lord
Jinendra attained ownself and manifested the devine Sun
and clearly saw movables and immovables of all the three
world simultaneously and voiced the devine resonant sound
through extension of His transcendented halo.

When dissatisfaction prevails in the people, they face


troubles and then hostile feelings would increase and the
roots of the State would shake, therefore the means of
trade and livelihood will have to be increased, will have to
show affection towards people and will have to honour
and to give importance to the subject according to their
ability, then only progress of the nation is possible.

31. Ethical propriety makes the man great


O brethren! You dont take it ill seeing any event/ incident at any
time because any incident can become instrument of your amelioration.
Here is a story of an old man. He being pained by the taunts of his
daughter-in-law, came out from the home and left for pilgrimage and
reached Sammed Shikhar ji and accepting initiation of Muni made
himself elevated/ ameliorated. It is not bad to live in the world, you
catch hold of the world which is bad. That attachment should be done
away with. If anyone tells you something because of affinity then very
soon you take it ill. On the other hand, son, daughter-in-law are there
in the house, however much they may pass acrimonious remarks, may
taunt even then youre used to hear them. You do not feel ill because
they look to you as your own. In earlier days the threshold used to
remain in the house, and then the decorum of the house was maintained, Today neither there is threshold in the house nor the decorum is
left over. If the home is propped with propriety-decorum then that house
is propped up on its own. It comes into view as heaven. Where the
decorum/propriety is not maintained that house comes into view as the
hell. The men without propriety spoils him- self. Just as the flow of the
river when remain within bounds looks, how beautiful, that very flow
when assumes the form of flood/ transgressing / breaking the boundary, then nothing is left except total ruin/ destruction. Marayada
Purshottam Ram never transgressed his decorum/ propriety, that is why
he is called as worshippable. Try to touch/ follow his conduct, the world
would admire you. Only that person can adore the gems-trio who himself
observes due bounds of propriety and lives in the house observing
bounds of propriety. Make your thought positive, not negative. Occasionally any incident can become a cause to make your life rescued
from baleful condition.
O brother! It is common to err, the one who accepts his mistake,
repenting for that, makes his life sacred and pious, that very is human.
When the sandal is rubbed on the stone then that stone also becomes

fragrant. If a man happens to come in the company of virtuous person


then his life also becomes fragrant. Neither got anything becoming
someone nor got by losing something whatever got, got by
becoming of someone . There is neither anything to get in the world,
nor anything to lose, either become of your own-self or of the God.
That who has learnt to live with his virtues, that only is beautiful in
himself.
Dont gaze your face in the mirror,
The mirror will get unclean.
Look intently your face in conscious soul,
That soul will become clean.
Today the person does not begin his morning with the worship
of God and service of old ones. Today how many sons and daughtersin-law are there who begin their routine activities with the blessing of
their father-in-law and mother-in-law touching their feet? We search
affinity not in our owns, but in others, we wish eagerly to embrace
others. If we try to search that love, affection, blessing in our own
home, then we will make our very home heaven.

Just as water cleanses the stains & blood, similarly


even the hard inauspicious sins of domestic routine by a
house-holder are washed away by offering four types of
alms to the ascetics who have renounced the worldly affairs.

32. Lust -blinded person is, in fact, a blind


O brethren! Meritorious act is not the cause of the path of salvation. That is also karma and is the cause of influx & bondage of
karma. Meritorious/ virtuous act is not harmful, but to regard it as
salvation in itself, is harmful. After all ,the path is only a path, the path
can never become destination. Those who stop regarding the path as
destination, they can never get destination. Only that man can take care
of his own-self who is in his own nature. Who lives in passionate feelings ,i.e. feelings contrary to real nature that can not prop up self. When
the person lives in affluence then he begins to strut but who remains in
his nature he does not cast a glance towards that wealth regarding that
as inert. He tries to understand that the mass of dark clouds would
increase his inner blackness, then why should run after wealth? One
who has faith in his karma? he does not pant after the race. To persevere is not prohibited but the attachment behind the inert., the intense
greed towards lust, is prohibited. The great poet Tulsidas ji was strongly
attached to his wife. Once she went to her fathers house in his absence
then he immediately reached his father-in-law house crossing the swelling
Ganges River. His wife expressed her unhappiness for this kind of much
attachment to her.
O brothers! The lust-blined person is not only blind by eyes
but is blind both ways internally & externally. That swelling Ganges
river he crossed taking support of which understanding a piece of wood
was actually not any wood but a dead body sitting on which he crossed
the river and reached home and holding which rope he entered the
house was infact, not the rope but the snake. The lust blinded person
does not even fear, he also stakes his prestige for it and does not also
care for his own life. Well, he goes on engrossing his ownself in passion
and sensual enjoyments. By the time he comes in his senses, he reaches
on the verge of death. He lives repressing his tears within his inner self.
Hence, who leaving the slavery of senses engrossed in the devotion of
Ram becomes like Tulsidas. When the wife of Tulsidas ji scolds him

severely, then he becoming a devotee of Ram, composes Ram Charit


Manas, an outstanding treatise and becomes Maha Kavi Tulsidas.

O brothers, what is visible that I am not. If attained


the knowledge of soul, etc., seven realities and nine matters
sitting near ones own soul and accepted that, then it will
be understood as your right faith, having faith contrary to
it, has no place in religion. If considering your body as
your soul then you are ignorant - stupid, your faith will be
erroneous. Accept that as it is, not otherwise. If water
comes in the contact of fire, it will not turn into fire. If the
living being is transforming contrary to the real nature, is
surrounded by storm of passions still he can prop up
himself.

What is the use of holding a lamp in ones hand if he


is to fall in a well? likewise, it is of little use to be equipped
with the so called knowledge of reality if a person remains
engrossed in a variety of activities without realising which
of them are to be abandoned and which to be adopted

33. The courteous person is always of high


order/ lofty.
Each & every living being of the world possesses the power of
knowing and seeing. What number of sins he commits also experience
them within his internal self. Every sin and the activity of that sin do not
happen without coming in your knowledge. Even then this Jeeva feigns
ignorance. It is in the nature of man that he does not look at his ownself and becoming doer of others goes on wandering astray in the world.
This Jeeva seeing only the beauty of his body used to become happy
within himself and gets his life destroyed. Samyasar does the work
of propping up your inner beauty in the place of outer one and the
beauty of the whole body goes on increasing on its own by the inner
purity. If you want to be looked beautiful then listen to the teaching of
those who themselves are beautiful, keep company of them. Your own
conduct will become pious and sacred like them by the fragrance of
their conduct. The courteous person is always of high order, even he
may be ill by the body but is always healthy and cheerful by mind. By
rendering service to him the heart of the men serving him too is filled
with joy. If the body becomes ill, that is not the thing to care but never
let your mind become ill. Despondency and disappointment occurs not
by body but by the mind. Hence, always keep your will-power secure.
Brothers! In whose heart the supreme soul (Parmatma) resides,
he goes on attaining beauty on his own. Until the state of mind is not
changed the state of pride cannot change. If there is desire to get selfpride then you cannot save yourself from dirt of that pride that is why
the pride has been called as a great poison. Well, the egoist does not
want to do good to anyone and by chance if does any good, he throws
that out of pride. If the consciousness persists in the state of excitement
then your good/ beneficence will happen and if you lose wits in
excitement then this life will go in vain. The debt, wound and fire-particle
all these three are destructive. Until the debt is not paid it increases in

leaps & bound. Similarly, if ointment is not applied on the wound then
it goes on increasing,. Similarly, a small fire-particle has the capacity of
generating terrible fire. The strength is gained not by medicine but by
chastity, restraint and equanimity. If you endure the disease it will be
cured. This body is meant not for the protection of body but for the
protection of religion and religious receptacles. Who protect these, the
deities protect them

Even the grief of other may be trifle but what is its


extent is not known? It may also happen that that grief
may prove great for us. Our grief is endurable because we
are acquainted with it, make it your friend, then it will not
trouble you.

Precisely, the meaningfulness of life consists in


awakening the volition of thou not of I, because the
proud person limiting himself up to I can not do good to
his ownself as well as to others.

34. You yourself create your jail


Well, today man wants to hear words of his praise but does not
want to do praise- worthy acts. The body is decrepit, has lost all his
teeth, the body is trembling even then attachment and greed to the
body persists, ears long for hearing talks of sensual enjoyments. The
desire of hearing self-praise is not eliminated. Whenever the encomium
will be written that will surely increase egoism. The worldly being likes
the tales of Karma-bondage ,i.e. of sin as he feels it better to live in
bondage. He does not view it a jail. The day he will view sin in that then
such self-accepted fetters will be taken off/removed on their own. This
house, this shop built by you, all these are your jail and the family members are its watchmen. Whenever you do not return in time then they
ask you, where you were? What were you doing? Why came so late.
All these are with you in the state of infatuation. The sensual enjoyments
and passion-smeared person likes the talks of sensual enjoyments
whereas a person interested in self-beneficence likes, precisely the talk
of the soul and perception of that soul.
Whenever you talk about auspicious/ good works with anyone
then people assist & cooperate in that, nobody wants to take side of
evilness because the person marching on the wrong, inauspicious path
becomes weak while one marching on the right path goes on becoming
strong and stronger inside and outside. No good to anyone can occur
in false assertion. Only that person becomes strong and gets honour
who live in himself, respects his own soul. That one achieved a lot who
met with his own -self. Hence, only that person is venerable who has
tried to maintain holiness, sanctity of his own soul by honouring himself.

35. Earn money by just and ethical means


The man living in falsehood regards untrue as true, his words are
never regarded authentic. The authenticity of words remains there where
person sticks to true conduct. The milk on the fire froths in such a way
as if all strength has gathered in it and will extinguish the fire completely
and when some drops of cold water are dropped in it, it becomes
quiet. Similarly, falsehood is seen strong but it does not get hold against
the truth. Whenever you are unable to concentrate then do remember
five supreme souls (Panch Parmeshthi ). The mind shall become calm
and quite.
The man speaks lie, for whom? For his family. Whatever sins
you have committed till today for earning money, these all you did in the
state of infatuation with your family. Whether they all will be co-sharer
in your sins? The wealth in more quantity is not earned without committing sin, then why are you accumulating this kind of sin? The bread
can be earned by just and ethical means, but wealth cannot be gathered. As much as the quantity of wealth will be more in that proportion
the complication will increase. Certainly the person earns for the family
but he will have to suffer for that singly. Hence always earn by just and
ethical means. It is not easy to keep alive faith and reverential belief,
who keep these alive they only are able to attain gems-trio. Never
abandon the right religion being influenced by attachment and infatuation. Many times, we make ourselves tangled in trifle subjects and encourage sinful activities. Self engrossment is the time of your soul and
engrossment in other matters is not your own. The man living in the role
of attachment will only feel attachment as against passionlessness. What
type of food we take, we belch of the same type. Similarly what will
you sense in the soul, the same you will feel.

36. Change your life by the fragrance of


conduct.
The virtuous person never wants harm to anyone. Those who
are doing sin, are engaged in sins, and virtuous person tries to cause
change in his thought activities, does not destroy them. Evaluation of
ability is done on its manifestation. All souls are possessed of infinite
powers, but the experience of that power will occur only when one
sees it face to face. Just as when the hidden water in the earth is drawn
out, than only its use and usefulness (beneficence) is understood. Whoso-ever manifested his infinite power, that only is worshippable and
excellent in the world and all salute such person. The feeling of respect
must come within us seeing good qualities of others. When nobody
accepts dirtiness and makes a wry face in going near it, then why do
you accepting that dirtiness (black heartedness), make yourself dirty
by the Karmic-dust?
The one who possesses something, from that only is demanded.
The Jinendra Lord possesses infinite virtues, while we are owner of
infinite demerits, then we should entreat the God this very right fruit for
changing our demerits into merits. Sweep, clean your sins of births
after births by the devotion of God and by the association with the
virtuous. People do not like to go to the fruitless tree. Those who deny
their own words or go back from their word, they first of all make
themselves worthy of disbelief by deceiving themselves afterwards
become grieved falling into disgrace in the eyes of all. Hence, always
evaluate your capability, ability and necessity before opening your mouth
to speak. Those who make fun of supreme soul (Paramatma) and
righteous, virtuous, they make themselves poorest of the poor and a
great sinner. If you cannot do good work then dont put hurdles in the
works of those who are doing good work. Do not bind such Karmas
in joking and jesting which may make you grieved in birth after births.
Always think of good of others at every instant by your wisdom. Take
griefs of all others as your own by distributing affection and sweetness

of words. Change the rotten life -stream of your own and of all by the
fragrance of your conduct. The essence of life is not in earning money,
eating food ,building house, etc, but it is found in associating all and
sundry in the flow of savour of love-affection-compassion. The worldly
being takes much pleasure in doing comparison while the comparison
gives birth to competition, due to which the family, society and friendship break. If at all, you want to compare, compare your demerits and
evils form virtues of virtuous, make yourself virtuous and wise.

FOR PURITY OF SOUL.


Time -invest your time in good deeds so that you
may get the Almighty as well as the progress, affinity and
the character and knowledge may develop.
Simple living Make use of your affluence, convenience in averting griefs, poverty of others.
Dexterity-competence- Keep farsighted view with
skilfulness, cleverness, intelligence and prudence in your
every deed. Should also acquire knowledge.
Indifference Dont snatch others right, enjoy just
and honest earnings and keep the inner soul pure, sacred
and broad.

37. First of all cast glance at your own -self


without fail.
From the time when this world came into existence since then we
are here, we came in the mothers womb again and again, felt pain of
foetus and came out from that female genital organ which is called door
of excrement and urine and forgot that pain which was endured in the
womb of the mother. How many times you took birth and how many
times experienced death, you forgot all that. Acharya Shivkoti has told
in Bhagwati Aaradhn treatise depicting characteristic of the Jeeva
that how this Jeeva comes in the womb in the form of a bubble and
how it gradually grows in each month and how much pains he suffers
and as soon as he puts first step in the world, forgetting that pain,
becomes engrossed in sensual enjoyment of all the five senses. What is
this body? Whenever its skin comes out and the flesh peeps out then
you yourself feel hatred. Precisely, there is store of blood, flesh and
marrow in it. Whenever a little hurt is caused then it begins to peep
coming out. Even then why are we so much attached to the body? This
Jeeva assumes the mode of human being coming out from the Nigod
(lowest form of life), and hell. And this Jeeva has to take birth and
court death again and again.
It is not the first time that you are hearing about the soul, several
times you heard tales, several times listened preaching, several times
righteous Guru tried to make you awake, to make you aware of the
importance of the soul but this infatuated being forgets that grief and
pain which he suffered coming in this world and being tangled in those
very relations of the world destroys his life like moth, knowing very
well that it is fire which will burn him. Until we will not understand the
art of living till then how will we behold others life. You take much
delight in taking your meal prepared by desolating others life. Whether
have you ever seen yourself? You also exist here coming out from those
very modes. How much pain your soul must have suffered when it
would have been scorched in the furnance, that body must have been

pierced and cleaved. When you will feel all this then necessarily, surely
you will save yourself from destroying /killing these Jeevas. You must
ask from your passing breaths whether they will return again? These
breaths are decreasing continuously and giving us message again and
again that still there is time, be cautious/ conscious and make good use
of time. We are exhausting/ wasting our breaths indulging in infatuation
of which family whether that will go with you? Only those very Karma
bounded by you, will accompany you and that very Karma will again
come with you. Think over all this. You must necessarily and seriously
once think for that soul in the awakened state exclusively for yourself.

Some people always complain,


About existence of thorns in the rose.
And I always thank,
The existence of rose
In midst of thorns.
That is to say,
Dont Complain to heart,
For suffering pain,
Rather live making,
The pain as Heart.

38. Keep words of Guru in Your heart.


The life does not begin in the absence of Guru. Only the Guru
guides us about path of living life, we get acquaintance of supreme soul
(Parmatma) only from the words came out from the mouth of Guru
and precisely the Guru makes us pure/ clean by keeping our all perversions, all sensual enjoyments at distance. In fact, the word Guru means
that feet by the influence of which we may dispel our all perversion and
may perceive/ experience supreme bliss. First of all, precisely, the mother
is the first Guru of the new-born-child who takes care of him and sanctifying him ,desires to ensconce him on the high positions. If the mother
does not tell her son the name of Guru, does not introduce supreme
soul (Parmatama) to him then her offspring can never know that
Supreme Guru that is why the mother has been said as the first Guru.
The life does not advance/ continue by name, by wealth, the life
advances by the art of living. Who knows the art of living himself that
very can teach the art of living to others. The first disciple of Mahavir
Swami was Gautam Gandhar, whose earlier name was Indrabhuti. He
was a great scholar and used to regard himself as a great learned. As
soon as he arrives in the Samavsharan of the Lord, his pride began
to melt/ decay having sight of the Manstambha (the pride benumbing
pillar) .Who came to quarrel/ argue with the Lord, he became the most
dear to the master of all the three worlds. There is no need of losing any
more breaths in the world. The life is passing, breaths are becoming
empty. Dedicate your life on this Guru Poornima to the Guru. In
whose heart there is passion, he can never bow down on the feet of the
Guru, hence, first of all it is necessary to become natural and simple.
One who has faith, he does not let the words of Guru fall down but
attains his well-being by making them enter his heart. It is , in fact, the
greatness of Acharya Vidyasagar ji that we are ensconcing. Bare
baba of Barro on the new alter sitting in Sheetaldham. We feel pride/
are fortunate enough that we got Acharya Guru Vidhyasagar ji as our
Guru and took birth in the era of his existence.

39. Only our belief takes us to the goal.


Coming of thoughts is but natural. Several times such thought
strike within us which we even never thought of. Dont express your
thought till their authenticity is established. Nobody accepts words which
are not genuine. The man in known by the authenticity of his speech. If
his speech is unsteady then his life also becomes unsteady/ indistinct
and if there is sweetness, affinity in his speech then that man makes
even others as his own. You will have to save yourself from the flame of
fire, if you want to get coldness. If there is impulse of passion within
you, then however much beneficial matter is told to you that will not be
understood by you. If the inner strings are in the broken state then they
also reflect outside and the rhythm does not undulate from that. Bring
affection and fluidity within yourself so that the nectar being distributed
here may directly enter you. Only that student is able to get success
who studies as per instructions of the Guru. He has to believe his own
capacity along with study. He cannot get success without having firm
belief on his ownself.
You have firm faith in reality, in Guru but you do not have belief in
your ownself, i.e. you are not sure that you will be able to march ahead
on that road or not, then you can never march ahead towards your goal
and will stagger on the very first step. Until the man does not have
confidence in himself, till then he is not able to win the belief of the
other. Dont care to correct the thought-activities of others, see your
own thought-activities and wherever the blackness is attached, make
effort to clean that. The Acharya is trying again and again to make us
understand. How much kindness is his? He says, This soul at present
is impure but it will not remain impure forever. Surely rare things are
obtained with difficulty but it is not necessary that they will always remain rare, they can also be attained easily.
The path of salvation is a path of experience, is the path which
makes us God. It is not the path of ambiguity or uncertainty, it is the
path of self-inspiration, self-sensation. The Acharya himself marched

on that path and when he himself lived that, then only he inspired other
Bhavya Jeeva (one who is supposed to get salvation) to march on
that path. He told, Try to awaken your experience through scriptures.
Well, the Guru can give you impression/ sacraments but the perception/ experience will have to be visualised by yourself. If you gradually
refine, make yourself sacramented then you will definitely gain that
knowledge for which you started perseverance. Earlier to it, read the
biographical tales of great personage; follow their principles in your
conduct afterwards persevere for getting that pure self-element, then
the bliss and ecstasy will rain within you. Never afraid of taking examination, the authenticity does not come without test. If a student will fear
from taking the examination then he cannot march ahead.

Human beings who walk with the support of stick


of confidence attain their goal soon and that confidence
and faith is gained by the devotion to God.

The gait of the horse and the words of a woman as


well as those of a deceitful man should not be believed
until the work is accomplished.

40. Passions are destroyed by worshipping


God
Visiting Jinendra Deva is the instrument for seeing Self and for
the purity of soul. The sins accumulated in births after births are destroyed by eulogy and adoration of Jinendra Deva. Just as the darkness
flee away seeing the daybreak in the same way the stain of passions is
destroyed by adoration of the Almighty Supreme soul. In the fickleness
of mind and thought activities being off the track then that activity is not
able to destroy sins. When there is remembrance of virtues in the mind,
eulogy in speech and bodily-posture may manifest the state of adoration,
then only the affection and intimacy of the Supreme soul is gained well
by the devotee. When the business-dealings (taking giving) take place
through worldly currency and owner of the currency is regarded as
multi-millionaire, if that very currency may be forged/ counterfeit then
buying a thing with that currency is long way off even his mutual belief
remains at stake. Just as the authenticity of the currency is proved by
testing, similarly the right/ proper posture of the Lord is the proof of his
passionlessness. Make life trust- worthly, reliable by keeping company
and observing behaviour rather than having complete belief merely seeing
the outer look. Each man-thing is seen precisely good in outer look,
but everywhere it is not so simple, but just as the outer passionless
beauty of the Lord is completely free from pride envy, attachment
aversion. similarly, his inner-self in also supremely beautiful and
auspicious.
No work is accomplished without planning.It is also necessary
that we should chalk out plans for determining our life. The well planned
method of acting demonstrates the skill of the doer along with
accomplishment of the work and makes him honourable. Where there
is no planning there meaningfulness/ usefulness of organisation is not
proved. Institutions too chalk out master plan before taking up
development/construction work, then giving it a concrete shape,
complete it according to the need of time, then only they get delight &
pleasure

41. Dhanterasa
The Dhanterasa, (i.e. the dark thirteeth day of the lunar mouth
of Kartika) as is in vogue in the world, is the day of accomplishment
of meditation and self-purity of lord Mahaveer. The Lord ,leaving the
Samavsaran, (i.e.the place of resonant preaching of Lord
Teerthankara) where Lord exhorts preachings for the beneficence of
all, reached in the lotus-forest of Pavapur for restraining the activities of
mind, speech and body,(i.e. for extricating the soul-points from the
body without leaving the body for equalizing the aggregate of Karmic
molecules of Age Karma with those of other non-destructive Karmas).
Inneumerable celestial beings and female celestial beings performed
great worship of the Lord and also expressed their sorrow for not
getting proximity of the lord further more.

All the members of all classes of the society should


mutually exchange their nectar of intimate friendship in this
festival and should abandon the evils of the life. Just as the
Lord attained the path of self-purity destroying all Karmas,
similarly we all should also attain that pure-path.

I always pay my obeisance to that passionless Guru,


whose clothes are all of the ten directions, the earth is his
bed and takes food in the pot of his hollow hands.

42. To see is not bad, staring is bad


Acharya Bhagvant is trying to awake you for improving your
present and ascertaining the future. The one who gets awakened that
one comes out from the transmigration and who remains sleeping, ruins
his present and future. We are seeing our breaths gradually going out
far from us one by one, seeing our breaths going far from us if we start
effort for propping up ourselves then perhaps we would be able to
improve our present and future both. Until you recognise your inner
demerits till then how will you pray Lord that, Oh God! Kindly do not
look at my demerits? Only that can express his pain who must have
suffered that, who knows that pain. It is very essential to know about
the perversion for getting rid of perversion. First of all the attraction
comes through the eyes. If the perversion occurred towards anything
or seeing any one the lust pervades your eyes then you tangled yourself. The one who sees behind turning back again and again., he can
never able to advance ahead and makes himself fall down tangling in
his own self. The ghost/ past is seen seeing behind hence, see ahead,
what is your present that very would determine your future.
It is not bad to see thing but to stare at the thing is bad. See the
thing but dont think to take that thing. See, examine, dont talk nonsense, walk ahead, dont get tired. Remain in your limit, dont snoop
about, who snoop now and then in others house they have to endure
also beating. Therefore, Guru Maharaj tells, come in your respective
home. i.e, come in your own soul and make effort to know your own self, other matter/ object/ thing ,i.e. the body which is not yours own,
that will not make you awakened, that will indeed cause you to transmigrate in the world. When you will keep yourself aloof from the crowd,
then only you will get your Souls abode. Today the tension is not
because of your ownself, but the tension is caused for others. You take
great pleasure in carrying on load of others. You also do works which
are worth-doing, and also do which are not worth doing. One who
carries others load what is that called? Donky, then why you make

yourself donky, be wise. Those who regard others fool, they themselves
are fool. Hence dont give advice to anyone. You gave advice to someone
and he did not pay any heed to it, then unnecessarily you will live in
tension and will be increasing enmity-opposition. Dont be like burning
dead body which gives light at the time of burning but after some times
turns into ashes. The one who takes pleasure in the world and worldly
objects becomes infatuated in them and goes on making himself helpless and weak. Although he is an owner of the thing most valuable of
all, becomes a great beggar of all. Hence ponder and meditate about
the world, not worry for that.
SACRED THOUGHTS
Should not keep unison with persons having evil
thoughts,should keep our thoughts well managed, not in
disorder.. Only our thoughts make heaven and hell. Merits
& demerits are creation of our thoughts and only our
thoughts ascend the height of Himalaya and staircase of
success.

The mother is the flow of affection and the world of


emotions in which the entire world is included that very is
real mother. Pleasure-pains remain together mixed unitedly
but the mother gives only pleasure to her children. The
mother desiring beneficence of her offsprings always walks
behind her children for protecting them from hardships and
bestowing blessing on them remains united with their
feelings.

43. Honour the soul which is with you.


If you wish to live, live becoming like a rose flower among thorns
so that seeing your smiling face, people may also fill with joy. Well, the
circumstances go on coming and going, dont bother those circumstances. The pleasure not only causes to clean your face more clearly,
but also makes that atmosphere filled with joy where you are residing
and with whom you are talking, also gets pleased.
How much bustle we undertake for getting outer authority.
Sometimes we please this and sometime that. If you are to meet some
leader or big boss/ officer then you reach there in time and also wait
reporting there your presence. Sometimes you have to please also his
peon, doorkeeper, then only you are able to meet that leader or officer.
So much bustling for getting outer power, for outer admiration and for
inner power no effort, no time. Whenever got time, came as impetuous.
You came to meet the master of all the three world but which rules,
regulations, principles are there for meeting the Lord, if you will come
according to these rules then you will be able to get something otherwise infinite time has already passed thoughtlessly and further infinite
time shall also pass in the same way. Whatever numbers of living beings
are there in the world prove the apt saying that birds of a feather flock
together. We are included in all but not all in us.
The Lord did not preach us to transmigrate in the world. On the
other hand, he showed us the recourse to get rid of it. Persevere to
follow that recourse in your life, you will get yourself free from bonds of
births after births, believe at least that much. When there is so much
power in that small mode that the seed of Pipal tree if falls on the wall
and germinates, pierces the wall itself then you possess the store of
infinite, power only there is necessity of pouring that seed on the
appropriate place. Dont engross/ immerse so much in the sensual
enjoyments so that your boat may precisely drown in the ocean of the
world. Honour that soul which is with you for all the 24 hours. It did not
finish relationship with you, even in the event of changing so many modes

See also in the social interaction ,i.e. your practical life, who remains
with you all the 24 hours not caring for that, regard other in high esteem
or in case you go somewhere and nobody took notice of you whereas
who has not come even then he is enquired of, then what ill you feel?
Similarly, regard your own soul in high esteem, it will also honour you,
will cause you to get rid of the ocean of transmigration.

* The one who tells about others minimising their qualities,


is a slanderer.
* Considering ownself as great not accepting importance
of others, is a low/ heinous tendency.
* Considering ownself as great before recognizing other,
is a medium tendency. (Which indicates the lofty tendency
of the human being).
* Goodness is beyond understanding by evil people.
* Good man consider all people good, how any one can
become evil, they are unable to understand.
* Wickedness does not understand goodness, but expect
goodness from others.

44. Samaysar is in perception, not in


words
We have undertaken journey to the past and infinity. Several
times took birth and died, experienced both pleasure and pain but this
conscious soul did not have the good fortune of experiencing the consciousness of right knowledge. As long as we will not rectify this mistake of ours till then we cannot experience the consciousness of the
knowledge. There is a time for each thing and for each work; if we
experience the soul then that time we can attain that ultimate liberation
(Shiddhatva). Well, see at least once, obeying the command of the
Lord as directed by the Acharya, experience that, this is the only way
for getting ultimate liberation and is the destroyer of the griefs of births
after births.
The Samaysar cannot be grasped merely by words or by
discussion. When Acharya Kund-Kund had written the Samaysar in
the state of pure nudity and with the pen of self-experience that is why
it is called as the essence of self-experience and the essence of living
life. The journey of the experience is performed by the experience itself.
There is no need of demonstration for that, perception and keeping
eyes open is essential for perception. Acharya have done supreme perseverance for opening our closed eyes.
When an eye suffers from opthalmia, then causes grief and when
an evil eye influences, then also it gives pain that is why the mother
draws a black mark on the childs cheek so that he may not be influenced by an evil eye. Evil eye, i.e. faulty intention. If our intention is
faulty then precisely the fault will come into view all around. We will
have to accede the Samaysar for getting perception of Samaysar.
Merely the knowledge of the words is not real knowledge. Even the
parrot rotes the words then whether it became a prudent/ judicious
one? The perceived knowledge has been called knowledge. Who
practise arranging words, are called poet, they can make you clap as a
sign of applause, but cannot cause you to experience. When the mother

cooks food then first of all she serves food to all. She can experience
the taste of that food only when she herself takes the food. When you
free yourself from the world while living in the world only then you will
attain the ultimate liberation

O Lord! A sinking man cannot cross the ocean


without help of a boat and even if he is fortunate enough to
find a boat, he cannot cross the sea in the absence of a
boatman, similarly I was also sinking in the sea of
transmigration and could not cross it despite having found
the boat in the form of gems-trio without the help of an
expert boatman. You are expert in crossing and enabling
others to cross this sea, kindly cause me to cross this sea
of transmigration.

By no means can knowledge be attained except by


serving the Guru, the spiritual preceptor.

45. Only the viewer of ownself becomes


happy
The recurrence of events take place only then when we do not
take a lesson from happening of those events. The fault/ offence which
you have committed, first of all accept that in a natural way. Until you
accept that then how will you be able to get rid of that in your inner
self? Those offences will not stop, their recurrence will be continuing.
That only is the cause of rebirth again and again. We have not accepted
yet the faults committed by us. We, precisely did not understand those
grief and pains so far, if we would have understood that, then there was
no necessity of teaching/ preaching. Only that gets pleasure who views
his own-self. The Acharya Lord is kind enough in making you acquainted
again and again with your own -self in giving you right understanding of
the self. He is trying through not one but many illustrations that the time
you got should not be wasted. Dont become an unskilled tradesman
who exhausting all his capital is declared bankrupt. Become a successful
business man which capital you got at least dont let it to lessen, if you
cannot increase it. When that Almighty Supreme soul would ask you
that what capital he had entrusted to you, where is that? Then what
reply you will give? Only because we did not pay any heed to that what
was said to us, we are sent again to that place from where we had
gone.
The present era is the misery period (Dukhmakala). The illusive attachment is so much strong that we do regard that very as pleasure itself. We have weaved such type of warp and woop that we feel
ourselves helpless in coming out from that and exhaust our life in that
very warp and woop. The spider also weaves web, although other
creatures tangles in it but the spider itself comes out of it. We are more
fool than the spider that we go on destroying our life after life. We are
never kind to ourselves. The Acharya Lord has bestowed kindness on
us that he has kept open his experience his treasure before we all that
come and take. But we look at the inert things and never cast a

glance at that matter, that mode which we got rarely in the form of
human-gem. If you will grasp its rarity then understand that you have
studied the Samayasar. The human being is never bad, the circumstance and environment make him bad. Discordance and distress produce tension which becomes a cause of untimely death. First of all, you
persevere to abandon sinful tendencies and rest leave on the Almighty
God. There is no need of thinking much; assume naturalism and simplicity, your well-being will occur on its own.

THE DEATH-FESTIVAL
Ascetics never celebrate birthday ,however, they
believe in overcoming death.
Only by the faith-devotion and dedication the liberation of the man, and protection of places of pilgrimages
and religion can be done.
Ascetics always keep the feeling of holy-death for
celebration death-festiva,always aspire to assume the
initiation of nude-saint for destroying KARMAS for ever.

46. Languages bring affinity


There are many languages in the world. It is not in the power of
everybody to make each & every one understand in ones own language. The one who is master of infinite power and infinite knowledge
(omniscience) can only make each and every living being understand in
his own language. When the divine speech/ discourse of the Lord sounds
in Samavshraan, it sounds in 18 great languages and 700 small
languages which is grasped by each living being according to their own
respective ability and ameliorate their life. The language never disputes.
It is only the pride of man which gives birth to dispute. The man understands soon if he is caused to understand thing in his own language. If
the affinity and intimacy are increased and mutual closeness is brought
by the languages of the world, then they should be used in speaking.
The Guru Maharaj is showing/ describing the right path in our language
in a natural and intimate way following which our griefs/ difficulties might
be removed. How much compassion and mercy is there in his (Gurus)
intention that this Jeeva may be ameliorated in whatsoever way?
You do not do injustice to others, it is good thing. You should
also do not do injustice to your family and to your own self. Be grateful
towards all along with your own soul. You should not read merely for
reading, read it for moulding your life, i.e. for giving right shape to your
life. If once you read for moulding your life then you will not need to
ask from anybody. You will also not be required to introduce yourself,
your identity/ acquaintance will be reflected from your voice/ speech
on its own. Be acquainted with the soul, not with outer substances.
Until now you are trying to walk with the help of crutches. When you
are experiencing so much pleasure in dependence then how much pleasure you will feel in independence? Hence, dont be dependent on others,
be self-reliant/ self dependent. At this particular time you are not in
your own home. The day you will come in your own home, see your
face on that day in the mirror. When spoken in natural and simple way
then it reaches directly in the innerself. Hence there should be easiness

and simplicity in both inside and outside. The mother makes her child
understand in his lisping language and the son understands. If you will
talk about reality (element) to some novice, he will not understand, you
will have to make him understand in his own language. People who are
not able to keep themselves aloof from sins , they take pleasure in
making other person also walk on that wrong / sinful path and cause
other persons to follow that very path. Therefore, dont care for the
pleasure of the world, see your own-self. The path showed to you,of
what sort that path is? You will have to keep the knowledge of this,
only then we could do well of self as well as of others.

LAZINESS
The knowledge is not gained by laziness, The wealth
is not earned in the absence of knowledge Friend are not
found in poverty and without friendship, the pleasure is
missing.
Dont let the bird of laziness make nest on your head.
The success is gained by coming out, breaking the strategic arrangement of laziness The lazy person, the man of
unsteady mind lives with despair.-thoughts.

47. The death will resist negligence.


To be negligent (lazy) is not the nature of man. When we are
engaged in passionate feelings, (i.e. feelings contrary to real nature),
i.e. begin to engage in works contrary to our real nature, then we leave
that work which is worth doing and begin aiming at that contrary work,
thereby engage ourselves in increasing our world. Those who forget
death, they destroy their human mode being closely attached to sinful
activities, hence always keep death with you, it will not let you become
negligent in auspicious activities, i.e. sins will have to be abandoned,
then only you can experience auspicious feeling. Coming in auspicious
can never happen without getting rid of sin.
Each and every soul has the capacity of becoming God, but it is
not perceived without its manifestation. The negligence kills you at every
instant. If we stick to laziness then we cannot accomplish even worldly
work then how will you attain that pure state? The journey is not completed merely by guessing, for completing the journey first of all fixing/
determining the goal will have to be decided then should proceed further to that place through appropriate medium. Many places will be
found before reaching your goal and will confuse you, will entice you
but if you are held up in that obstruction, enticement, then you will not
be able to achieve your goal. Each and every living being possesses
that pure reality/ element. Only there is necessity of its manifestation.
Both the auspicious and inauspicious waves go on stirring within us for
all the 24 hours. Save yourself from inauspicious and come in the auspicious. When you come in the auspicious even then you are not to
stay, begin effort for coming in the pure. It is correct that auspicious is
better than inauspicious but you are not required to held up in that. The
journey to the palace of salvation cannot take place while immersing in
sensual enjoyments, in sinful activities sitting in the house. If you are to
attain the salvation then you will have to rise, precisely above the mud
of sensual enjoyment and passions, only then you could find the state of
lotus as different from the water.

48. Life - style without tension


Bodily and Volitional tensions are created by our life-style due
to which we experience pain, grief, anxiety and negative thinking which
cause bodily fatigue, pain in chest, excessive sweating sleeplessness,
etc. Phychological reasons of tension are anxiety, irritability dullness,
anger, depression, malevolence, despair, disappointment, non-patience,
controversial discussions, liking solitudeness and change in life style.
One tension excites our ability through which we engross in the
work in hand by putting our heart and soul in that work. For saving us
from the anxiety-tension, take balanced food, do exercise and meditation, think that I will recoup my health and will show my ability by
accomplishing some new creative work and should abandon the habit
of distressing other by your own grief. Save yourself from tension and
live refresh and nectarous life keeping gloominess at distance.

Where father is patience, forbearance is the mother,


peace is wife, mercy is sister, restraint is brother and the
truth is the son, that very is the family of the passionless
Jain ascetic, bow to him, your amelioration is sure.

49. Sacrament is the capital of the life


All the facilities of the world are not capable of giving you pleasure. Only those men are able to get pleasure in the real sense of the
word who attain infinite virtues completing their journey of self-development. Lord Parshwanath attained the position of liberated soul from
Shri Samnedshikar ji, the eternal place of salvated-souls, crossing
over several births. We are fortunate enough that today we are
celebrating the auspicious event of salvation of Lord Parashavnath, on
this holy day by offering Nirvan Ladu. We all should resolve on the
occasion of this celebration that we will make our children cultured and
sanctifying, freeing ourselves from the western civilization for the
protection of religion and receptacles of religion and will abandon those
evils which are hindrance in our journey of self-development.
The sight of the Madhuvan is an incomparable gift of nature.
Everyone does not get good fortune of visiting this eternal place of
salvation. Only great virtuous Jeevas pay homage to this place of
pilgrimage wearing pure clothes and rejoicing, shouting in triumph of
the Lord, eulogizing with pure feelings. Their life also become pure and
holy. Whenever you go to Sammed shikhar ji for paying homage to
the Lord, then go abandoning the evils of your life. Lord Parashwanath
ji endured afflictions not only in one birth/ mode, he endured them in his
several births and in different modes. Therefore, we remember Lord
Shri Parashwanath Swami, the remover of obstacles, whenever we
suffer from troubles and disasters O Lord! Also give us power so that
we may endure trouble and adversities . Today you should go home
after abandoning your evil without fail utilizing your each and every
breath. The men who are lying in their homes, people go in their house
only when their life is exhausted completely.
Make your this mode of human life meaningful before your life is
exhausted. The uncontrolled arbitrariness destroys the sacraments of
the young generation. This body has not been given to us for sensual
enjoyments. Earning money does not matter much but dont hurt any90

ones heart/feeling. Dont forget your Indian sacraments as these sacraments are precisely the capital of your life which will free you from
birth and rebirth

O Soul! There are five capabilities for becoming


worthy of final liberation through rise of gems-trio, viz,
the capacity of attaining salvation (Bhavyatva), birth in
the land of action (Karamabhumi), human mode, healthy
body and noble family. When it is most difficult to attain
even one of these five in sequence, it is, indeed, highly
difficult to achieve all these five together.

O Soul! Even if per chance all the Bhavyatva ,etc.


five capabilities, are attained simultaneously, they are of
little consequence if inclination to religion is lacking .What
is the use of a good field if, inspite of sowing the seed,
grains do not grow.

50. Evaluation of breaths


We used to remain preoccupied day & night with anxiety of our
future in vain and also destroy our present. The present is ours, take
care of it. The one who did not value present, he honoured none. Well,
we are wasting our present in vain in heedlessness, laziness and in sleeping. But a good deal of striving for devotion of Namokar Mantra goes
on continuing in the breath of the adept. His every breath consists of
religion. He is fully acquainted with the value of invaluable breath. Indeed, his present is improved and the future too becomes bright.
The life is the play of breaths, who does not breathe that is called
corpse. As soon as the breath is devastated, exhausted, the life is devastated. If the root of the tree is in the state of hollow then the tree is
faded, does not remain luxuriant, fruitful. As long as the life is bound
with the thread of breaths, value those breaths. Our each breath is
invaluable. All the breaths are gradually passing/ coming out one by
one. In the end, we will have to account for the breaths. We do not
understand the value of the breath at the time of its passing out, but
when the breath is held up, then Doctor is remembered. Evaluate each
moment rightly. The importance of food is not in its preparation but it is
in the men who are to take the food. Similarly, the importance of the
breaths is in its right utilization. Every where the quality is attained only
through open eyes..

Pleasures are with us but the unsatisfied desires does


not let them look at them. The distress is the blessing of
almighty God and sufferings is the creiterion of braves.

51. Rarity of human life course /Sinful acts


are left over, not virtuous
The man got good lineage of family and excellent religion but
spoiled life in earning money, in attachment- aversion and in considering thine-mine. This means of body which we got, even the celestial
beings long for it. We should remain simple and quieted, should not
pain anybody even on becoming rich and should live happily. No business, recognition and social-interaction is possible without name. The
virtues and affinity are necessary in the social- interaction along with
name. If not, then well the name is Indrakumar but no attribute of Indra.
Then he is Indra Kumar only in name. Just as the lotus blooms even in
the mud, coming upside and gives fragrance, similarly, you too should
rise above and do the work of giving fragrance to the world.
Change in the body occurring due to age must follow the change
in life. You should change yourself through restraint, virtues and conduct.
Bring light in the life and the darkness should be kept aloof from your
own conduct. When you will down the signal of pride/ ego only then
the entry of train of the body on the station of the Lord will be allowed
to you. Only the mildness, bowing down and dedication, precisely brings
progress-fragrance in the life.
Bow down and pay obeisance to the Lord for the purity of your
soul. Only people who bow-down, pay obeisance, rise above and
advance ahead towards the path of destination.

52. The target / goal is necessary for


accomplishment.
The worldly being strays in the world because his target is not
one.. The saint has his own target hence does not go astray. One target
is necessary for the accomplishment of the work. Who has put heart
and soul in the world, his world never ends. Who developed affinity
with the Jinendra Lord and joined the string of his life with the Lord by
settling the deal of his mind, he does not get griefs in the world, Who
has attachment/ infatuation in the mind, he only fears the death. The
fear of the death causes death of the man, not the death.
The colour of the shadow of the body remains black. Just as the
clouds are black because they are filled with lot of water, but when
they become empty then their blackness disappears and they become
white. Until there is blackness of sin, of evil acts, animosity till then
there is grief and pain. The self-soul cannot be meditated with the company of other substances. Also anything, animate or inert, internal or
outer is not needed at the time of meditation. The single soul alone gets
Lord (salvation) by immersing in own soul. Where there is blackness,
the purity can never come there.
The purity is the invaluable wealth of the life, in the absence of
which if we buy something ,(i.e, get something) even then our grief
does not end, the life-death does not stop and the reputation, fame,
gladness are not gained. When our mind glitters then the face also gets
splendid by divine radiance.

53. Egoism is not ornament.


It is very easy to give birth to a child but, it is very difficult to
sprout and abloom him by sanctifying his life. If the potter does not
prepare the earthen pot in a right manner then the earthen pot gets
cracked. The true mother is that who understands him as her own and
makes his life all around handsome like the potter.
Get united with the Almighty Jinendra Deva for true bliss, get
united with your own Self, only then the inner light can illuminate. The
music sound which is sounding in inner self listen to that being quieted,
for the journey of inner mind. Make your life successful by utilizing
each and every breath of your life.
At the time proceeding for pilgrimage should proceed abandoning ill passions, hesitations and options including home, family, business, occupation, etc. by heart, then only the inner Sammed-Shikhar
ji will be meaningful and the state of unconfusedness will be gained.
You can change the inner world. See, changing yourself and dont
try to disgrace/ vilify the place of pilgrimage of human life-course. We
will have to see our heart groping it well that whether our mind has not
been kept in the darkness? Whether we are advancing towards light or
not? Our pride should melt. Stiffness is the identity of the corpse. There
is no hold in the stiffness. We understand ego as self-respect but it is
punishment for us, is the darkness of life.
Spread the roots of compassion and affection within yourself.
Offer the Argha (respectful offering) of your evils on the place of
pilgrimage then you will be pure in both way internally and outwardly.
The Almighty God is not got without full dedication.

54. Go to meet God, not merely to see


O God! You are only endowed with truth, goodness and beauty.
That which is not found in the world, is gained in your proximity because
you are the Omni-donator, you are free from attachment-aversion. We
were burning in the furnace of attachment-aversion uptil now, but now
kindly give us light of knowledge by which we may illuminate ourselves
and cause others to be illuminated. The one who has light of truth, does
not join others, he gets illuminated within himself, gets immersed within
himself.
Spare some moments for yourself. If lost in the crowd then you
will lose yourself. That very home looks better where there is intimacy/
affinity. This body is the worm of grain. We should remain by restraint.
Nobody dies of hunger; precisely dies of overeating, limit your hunger.
Those who baffle/ entangle themselves in a mess of miracle, they do
not get accomplishment of reality. Personality should be worshipped.
Regard God as the friend, should go to meet him, not merely to see.
We go to meet him, who is our own.
Devotees are of four types (1) like the stone, (2) like the soil, (3)
like the wet cloth, (4) like the small lump of sugar-candy. We should
make ourselves devotee like the lump of sugar candy who absorbs his
whole life in the devotion of God.
Fame is such a ditch in which all are drowned. The man enduring
trouble happily always goes on marching ahead and those who get
defeated by troubles, are coward. Every father lives for his son not for
himself and who lives for himself, becomes God.

55. Company: Sacrament


Those who grasp the words of the Lord Jinendra are very lucky
and fortunate. The purity, peace and self-realisation are gained by the
words of the Lord. If the speech is benevolent, friendly and sweet and
is filled with affinity gives sweetness. Speek sweeet pleasing and dissolve sweetness in the ears.
What company we keep, the same type of sacraments and life is
made. Today the science has gifted T.V. to us due to which we are
learning to live quite unrestrained abandoning our decorum, culture and
righteousness. There should be virtuous disposition and concentration
at the time of taking food, absorption is needed for meditation and
affection towards virtues of the Lord is must for worshipping, similarly
the peace and absence of options/ alternatives and anxiety ,etc. at the
time of taking meal are necessary, only then the food gives strength,
brillianance and bliss. With which thought each morsel is chewed that
morsel creates the same type of our bone, marrow, seminal fluid and
beauty. We should aim at the restraint, penance, renouncement and
morality at the time of taking food. Precisely our eating-drinking, dressing-costume brighten our personality. With which feeling the food is
prepared and served that creates our image leaving its impression.
Hence the mind should remain pure and happy at the time of cooking.
The home for the child is like a Gurukul (Seminary) and parents are his first Guru where the future of the child and the trust-money
of the mother-India is protected. One good mother is an excellent
teacher. Living life is an art which parents teach their children. If a good
thing is kept near a rotten thing then that is also gets rotten. Hence,
parents demeanour should adhere to the ethical propriety before their
children so that they may become well cultured and refined.

56. Keeping away egocentric attitude, is


humanity
Uttering I- me (to be egotistical/ to bleat) is the language of
the she-goat. Where there is me-I there is none except only egoism.
The mind, heart, thought of the human being should be so broad that
not only me, but all are mine. In whom all are included that very
person lives not only for himself but for all and accepts pleasures - pain
of all and sundry and feels of oneness with others in the infinite sky of
his mind. Where there is no feeling of oneness with others, the egoism
certainly remains there. All this minesess-thineness is the mean mentality of the interior heart. Mean thought is the identity of lowliness. That
who is broad , he takes all along with him and gets along with all remaining close to all, keeping away egotistical I, is precisely humanity.
When there is our no existence in the world-map, then why our nose
turns up in pride. We were understanding that we only are excellent in
the world. The one who realises his own mistake he swims in the water
like flower, i.e. becomes light and that who does not accept his mistake,
he drowns in the infinite world like the stone taking the burden of pride
in his life. Hence we should abandon egocentric attitude.
Desire, wish ,is precisely the cause of suffering. Dont be slave
of desires and longings. The contented person remains always happy
while the discontented remains always distressed. The dissatisfaction
goes on increasing in proportion the wealth increases and the affection
goes on decreasing. The family breaks gradually. The wealth ill gained
is ill spent Diseases surrounds. Sensual pleasures are the seed and store
of sin. Only the desire-less person becomes sacred Sun washing off his
sins.

57. Slandering is the mental perversion


The world is going on with deceit-fraud -illusion. Today man is
distressed because why the person living in front of him is happy? We
are ensnared in seeing others defects. The living being does not get
pleased with the sweetness of sugar as he gets pleased slandering others. But that pleasure destroys the true ecstasy of life. We get distorted
before slandering anybody. The one who is excessively eager in the
life, he is an insane person. The man with closed eyes goes astray,
hence always keep your eyes open. Learn to tell even the defects of
others with good/ right mind, then the bitterness will go away.
If anyone is slandering you, then dont be upset because the
slanderer, is indeed your benefactor. The gold-stone becomes pure
gold with the collaboration of the fire and appreciating/ admitting the
beneficence of the fire also becomes fragrant, i.e. results in added
excellence. The milk turns sour, (i.e. separates into its watery and solid
content ) on pouring lemon juise in it but the lemon is not enemy of the
milk but its friend. It transforms milk into the curd and after churning
makes it fresh butter and also makes it pure by giving it heat of fire.
Thus the lemon gives it new shape causing its journey completed from
milk to Ghee, cleansing its life makes its life reinvigorated, ameliorated.
Hence, slandering provides us chance for becoming good, gives us
chance to manifest our inner beauty. When we suffer distress only then
the value of happiness is understood. Hence, never slander any body
and dont be perturbed with the slanderer.

58. See virtues (merits), not vices (demerits)


If precisely, the service to worthy beings and fulfilment of duty
may become respectively splendid worship and devotion then the Almighty God will continuously accompany you. The pious service to the
saints fills one with the store of virtues. The service of the grief-stricken
people is, precisely the service of the God. Maryada Pursottam Ram
behaved a vile, a base like Bhilini named Shabri with affinity, then his
(Ram) name became illuminated, splendid and became-praise worthy
and loved Jatayu named bird then his body became golden. Shri
Krishna Narayan is called as Daridra Narayan, (i.e. well-wisher
God of poverty-stricken people). Devotees like Sudama were made
completely contented and affluent/ prosperous behaving them with close
affinity. When the service of the Guru is performed with devotional
thoughts, then only the stream of bliss flows. When one is touched with
great virtues of the Guru, then even the life of the base one glitters
becoming gold from the iron like the combination of the jewel and the
gold. The one who has served Gurus feet with true heart, he got
everything in his life. The farmer sows seeds in the field, waters, and
manures and irrigates it from time to time and protecting the crop fills
the godown of his master as well as his own house.
Well, extinguishing the fire of the neighbours house is indeed,
favour/ kindness to him, at the same time our own home becomes safe.
The stain marked on the beautiful white cloth is certainly seen by the
eyes, but not the clean whiteness. This very is the difference of our
vision. With which feeling we see the God, he seems like that. The style
of our life builds our future. Hence we should see whiteness not the
stain. We should aim at grasping the virtues of others, not vices. The
world is the confluence of virtues & vices. We should see goodness
and should walk keeping our eyes open given by the nature which
makes us see the scene of the reality.

59. Just as you sow, so you reap


The morning time inspires all to wake up. The one who awakes
abandoning the laziness, that very begins to walk on the right path. The
rays of the sun effort to awaken all gradually, even then if we do not
wake up, remain sleeping, then we lose the invaluable moments of our
life. Like the sun, the Guru also takes his disciples towards light pulling
out them from darkness and inspires to become great soul (Almighty
God) from an ordinary soul. Wherever Teerthankaras took birth,
they became Teertha (place of pilgrimage). Teertha, i.e. from where
one gets floated,It is that stream from where all vices/ ills are washed
off as well as all passions, attachment-aversion are washed out. The
essence of life is indeed the dedication to the Guru, is the flow of life.
The words of the Guru should always remain benevolent, friendly and
sweet. Guru,is always a simple, benefactor and well-wisher. The
Teerthas manifest by the company of saints; Teerthas works for
awakening people and even the death cannot kill an awakened person
while it kills a sleeping man at every time. Who is awakened in innerself that very remains alert. The man certainly becomes gentleman/ a
good man by keeping company of the saints. Those who fear from
dipping in the sea, sitting on the shore of the sea how can they get
jewels found in the bottom of the sea? Those who immerse in the
virtues of the Guru, they become supreme soul (God) by eulogizing
him. The Parasmani transforms the iron into gold but the Guru is
that who not only transforms the iron into gold but transforms it into
Parasmani.
To eat, feeling hunger is but natural while eating without hunger is
distortion and feeding a hungry is the culture. The one who eats after
feeding others, he always laughs in a happy cheerful way. The ideal
Indian culture is to take food after feeding others. If an honest man
indulges in dishonesty, it may well be, that he may get immediate honour,
but when he comes across the same behaviour with him then there is
only repentance, distress and bad name in hand. Once a King placed

order for the construction of a super most palace and provided best
possible invaluable building material for that. The Engineer used inferior
quality of material taking offensive view. At the time of its inauguration,
the king presented that very palace to the Engineer as a reward, then
he (Engineer) himself became sad/ grieved and thinks that this palace
may collapse at any time. O God! Protect us and give us good wisdom
,i.e. what we do, we get same fruit, in other words as we sow, so we
reap.

The attraction of the words is the mirage of desert

The earth is a laboratory, we are students for making


a seemingly impossible event possible.

The life is a lamp, should keep giving maximum light.

To smile in adversity not to sigh even in terrible


disease is the stamina of life.

Accepting each change in a laughing mood, is a great


incantation of living life.

60. The art of self -realisation, is in softness


The proud, i.e. egoism, arrogance whether may be of knowledge, family pedigree, caste position-rank- prestige works like terrorist in the field of true faith on religion. The egoism is that black night of
Amavashya (15th day of the dark lunar month) which surrounds the
right path by darkness. Whenever the pride flourishes in the human
being, he loses his spirit, i.e. does not give hearing to anybody. He
makes himself aloof from himself because of his stubbornness. The one
who is egoistic, that very is an arrogant proud person. The one who
rides on the elephant of pride, he does not place foot on the earth. He
falls on such a pit where no one is found for taking him out. The salvation
path is not arduous like the edge of the sword. It is delicate, soft like
the petal of the rose flower, which joins, not breaks it in many pieces.
In fact, the knowledge which takes us across the world, that very is the
right knowledge, that drowns us in the world, that is not knowledge,that
is, in fact, egoism. The rope gets burnt but its twist does not disappear.
The same is the case with egoism of which the strut never burns, i.e.
false pride remain as it is.
Well, the fire of the egoism, precisely, does burn others as well
as the egoist himself and reduces him to ashes, burning in that. The
knowledge repels egoism of our inner-self, spreads light removinng the
darkness. If an ordinary person happens to come before us then
welcome him smilingly, behaving him with ownness. If any one comes
to quarrel then embrace him with affection. If anyone comes to mix
bitterness then cause him to eat sugar-candy. The knowledge of word
is not knowledge. Where there is patience, endurance modesty, that
very is the right knowledge.
There are two qualities- pride and self-respect. We should never
be arrogant/ proud. There is no pride in self-respect. The pride works
like paralysis. There is no hold in the stiffness (strut). When you will
bow down only then you will be able to get up. If one wants to climb on
the peak then he will have to bend. Hence, the self (soul) cannot be

realised without bowing down in the inner depth. Precisely bowing down
is the conduct.

When this body which always remains unseparated


from us, does not go with us in the next world (after death),
it is left behind here only, then who the learned can tell
about family members, son, grandson, etc. that they will
remain with him? No body can tell .Just as a thoughful
person knows the arms as different from the seath, similarly
he knows the soul as different from the body.

Just as the carpenter peels the wood with the adze


and when it becomes blunt he sharpens it on the stone and
changes its handle, if it becomes decrepit, similarly , the
devotee sings devotional songs and does the work of social
service with the body. He also nurtures it providing it
suitable food and clothes but when this body becomes
obstructive instead of being helpful in the works like
eulogizing the supreme God, then regarding it useless, becomes indifferent towards it.

Live making yourself as right knowledge rising above


the right knowledge.
The right knowledge of scriptures is meant for right faith
and right conduct. The scripture is not religion, it is the
carrier of religion and after being self as right knowledge,
the other authoritative evidences are not needed.

61. Identification of true friend


Even our shadow leaves us in contritely/ adversity, then what to
say of friend, not only man but the patience and religion are also tested
in the time of contriety. Friend, companion, sympathizer, intimate companion, well-wisher are those who come forward in need. The friendship takes place between two. Those who do not come together by
mind, they cannot be friends.
In fact, precisely our parents are our friends who have given us
religious sacraments. Wherever these cultured, sacramented children
live they enlighten the name of their parents. By performing the worship, eulogy of the Lord Jinendra, the admiration of their family used to
take place on its own. The greatest friend of all is the Lord Almighty,
who always gives us shelter, support and guidance and saves us from
falling down. Of whom there is no body to side him, the Lord Jinendra
is there for them. The plants which are implanted by the gardener taking every step of carefulness and which are looked after with due care,
many times they wither away. But plants grow on the mountains, forests always remain waving smiling and make us feel smile of the Lord.
Four points are to be kept in mind at the time of adversity, distress: (1) Prudence (2) Patience (3) Profoundness and (4) Perseverance (the
quality of assiduousness). The friend is always tested in adversity. All
stand by us in times of pleasure but who is with us with heart & soul in
adversity that very is a true friend. Just as Seeta accompanied Ram at
the time of exile, Maina Sundri stood by Shripal. If you learn laughing in
the days of your misfortune on the feet of the Lord Jinendra, then you
will be happy.

62. The path can never be destination


Identifying ones own supreme soul by the instrumentality of the
Lord Jinendra, the rank of the Lord is gained. Hence, have the sight of
the Lord for viewing our ownself.
Our each and every blood-vessel consists of attachment whereas
aversion from worldly life pervades the veins of the passionless saint.
When this great difference is done away with then the difference between the soul and the Supreme soul lessens. Dont abandon attachment with the Supreme soul (God), it is the cause of our happiness.
First of all the home ,family, world have to be abandoned for the spirit
of renunciation/ dispassion, then all will get abnegated. You should renounce addiction first before renouncing the food; renounce vice, renounce non-edible and amoral food along with even harmful edible
food. Renouncing is the way for minimising attachment. This very is the
way to travel from outer world to the inner.
The discriminating science is not merely difference between the
body & the soul, but is to think about each good-bad aspect of life,
abandoning things which damage soul and accepting beneficial-benevolent thing, is precisely the true/ right discriminating science.
Why to shy in accepting the truth? We should be ashamed of our
evil conduct. The right believer follows passionlessness and goes on
renouncing attachment constantly. Renouncing means also renounce
otherwise feelings of other things, then only the renouncing will be meaningful. First of all abandon sinful conduct, attachment to belongings (possessions) and family then abandon attachment to God and other auspicious feelings otherwise neither the Ram nor the money will come in
hand, i.e. neither of the two objectives are attained. The salvation path
is the true beneficial way as told by the Teertankaras. Arbitrary
walking is not possible on this path. The way/path should exist for
reaching the destination, not for going astray. The astraying path cannot
be the destination.

63. Dont disclose secrets


Collectively we need homely atmosphere for the protection of
society, religion and objects of religion( receptacles). If we wish to
save our home from breaking then the secrets of our home should not
be disclosed to other being. Always keep this principle intact in your
life. The home breaks only when our mutual trust transforms into doubt
and secrets of the home are disclosed to others. Had you settled
weakness of the house sitting in home with mutual trust then your house
would not have broken. In case there are untoward circumstances,
contrary work is being done, then settle it sitting together, by mutual
consultation and counselling. This principle applies to home, family,
society and country as well. Never go to give evils, envy etc., of your
home (i.e. trouble) to the other being and vice-versa, then only your
home will be saved. If any member of the house is committing mistake,
then behaving him with affinity make him catch the right path, the ethic
says so. The world neither honours a falling down nor gives respect to
a person who caused him to fall down. Only that one is viewed with an
eye of respect who rises above as well as who caused him to rise up.
Merely being a elder, is not a great man. The one who carries out
his duty along with elderlyness indeed that pillar (back-bone of society)
rises above in his own eyes as well as is viewed with an eye of respect
in the society. Always think in positive direction. By thinking in negative
direction one finds himself in deteriorated condition. Liberate yourself
from karmic bondage manifesting the feeling of dutifulness within
ownself, i.e. mending your spoiled habits by yourself, make your life
successful by broadening the path of the well-being of your own soul.

64. True Artist/ Soul


The artisan swims in the ocean of unparallel/ incomparable ecstasy by giving shape to the shapeless (incorporeal) idol of the indivisible Lord Jinendra (God) by the stroke of chisel, in a piece of stone by
his intentness, interest and concentration with careful mind. Seeing himself
personified incarnate form (of the stone) before him through the sharp
chisel of time, (i.e.by the time the idol is completed), completely absorbs
in the depth of his inner heart being spell bound and asks his own
conscious nature ensconced in his own inner-self being voiced mum,
O conscious Lord! Well, I manifested the Lord in the stone by
exhausting my full power and seeing my own living art I caused my
consciousness absorbed intently in the worshipfulness of the adorable,
transformed into Lord from the stone .
Oh! Which may manifest to own conscious Lord (soul), when
will you persevere to adore such supreme ultimate good? When you
will take rest under your own supreme cold shadow? Because till today neither saw it nor identified and nor had intimacy with it. The involvement in the worldly activities prevented us from living in our ownself. See, the art upheaved on the stone, it admires the artisan, causes
to give respect to him and enables him to earn money, but this creation,
(i.e. idol) is also inert like the stone, consists of matter, possesses the
properties of touch, taste, smell and colour; is devoid of consciousness. But, however, it is not good to forget our conscious art of cognitive and perceptive nature in that..
Well, the true artist, locating himself in his carved nature of knowing
gets self-bliss by his art. His art not only transforms the stone into Lord
but removes all contrary causes of perverted thoughts/ feeling, passions, pride, envy, attachment-aversion by his sharp chisel of
discriminating science, i.e. seprates the element of soul ensconced in
the body from the body by its right/ accurate art of identical gems trio.
(right faith, right knowledge, right conduct ).His art makes the omnipotent

conscious soul shapeless, incomparable, conscious idol stabilizing it in


himself, by himself and for himself being drowned in himself, makes
its own self-God as the God-Soul. This very is the journey from the
path of salvation to the absolute/ identical gems trio. This very is the
appropriate use of the art of the artist and this very is the beautiful form
of world-celebrated, famous in canons, whiteness of the full-moon light
night accompanied by full art. This very is the pure form of the soul, this
very is the self-soul, this very is the essence of all scriptures, and this
very is the essence of the Samayasar.

There are many thundering and raining clouds but


raining wet water from with in, are rare, (i.e. which awake
sentimental feelings and make eyes moistened), similarly
all exhort but whose exhortation is beneficial, is rare, in
other words the preachers who exhort by the words
emerging from frying pan of self-perception, are rare. Mind
always one thing that only the monsoon rain is useful not
the general rain

Those who are not endowed with introspection they


do not relish twelve reflections. Twelve reflections should
be felt pleasing in the youth, what is the use if appear
pleasing in the old age?

65. Miracle of the good fortune


One evening the feet of a saint became standstill in front of the
royal palace. The watchman of the palace expresses his gratefulness to
receive him with honour and due devotion and arranging proper place
for his graceful staying, taking it his duty, requests him, O worshipful
Lord! You are coming from very far place, please give us auspicious
chance to serve you so that we may wash off our bonded Karma
from births after births taking advantage of your good proximity. The
saint replied in an easy manners like a child, All right, I will take rest in
the night in that rest-house meant for travellers and pilgrims.
All became wonder struck that what will happen now. It is the
personal palace of the king, how can we cause him to stay in it? And
the saint is also insulting the royal palace by saying it a public resthouse. Suddenly a mild sound came breaking the dead silence, O
Saint it is not the public rest-house, it is the personal palace of the
king. But the saint is firm on his words that I will take rest in the night
in this very public rest-house and the watchman is also firm on his word.
At that very time, the king came out from his palace hearing the noise
and seeing the miracle of his fortune bowed down for adoring the feet
of the saint and according him suitable welcome and receiving with due
honour with extreme joy and requesting him for taking rest, took him in
his palace.
O king! This public rest-house is very beautiful, I will take night
rest here. Maharaj it is the personal palace caused constructed by my
benevolent wise ancestors. You please stay here. All arrangement of
your happy stay will be done. Nothing will be more fortunate than
welcoming you in the palace but kindly dont tell it a public rest-house.
Instantly, the saint tells , tell in what room your ancestors, the
founder of the palace are? I will ask them. Maharaj, all those are no
longer alive now, i.e. passed the other universe leaving this ephemeral
body-palace, replied the king. Then O king! you yourself search the

solution by the strength of your prudence that the founder of the palace
passed then whether the one living at present would not go? When all
will go, then it may well be that this place may remain long lasting, but
the men coming and going are, precisely travellers and this place is a
public-resting-place.
O conscious Lord! The main cause of the journey of the world
is the concentration in alien belongings due to which got connexion of
body, senses, mind and sensual enjoyments. This conscious soul forgetting itself in this very coincidental connexon, is taking pleasure in it.
It is, precisely the fruit of our this very mistake that the birth-death is
going on uninterrupted and we are astrying in new-new halting places
changing body again and again and regarding the world-body as permanent, feeling happiness in getting the house constructed with the desire of stability.
O conscious soul! See a little opening your eyes when the founder
is going on the onward journey, accepting transmigratory motion of the
soul for assuming a new body then this palace, our relation with other
matters/ things ,etc., are signalling that there is only astrying in the darkness. The separation is a must of the connexion. There is a lot of belongings but whether the condition of the distressed by separation remains other than like the death of the floundering-fly ensnared in the
spiders web?
O conscious being! You are just knower & seer. That which is
being seen neither you are that nor that is yours. You only know and
see with the feeling of merely a spectator. Dont involve in attachmentaversion and dont think it good or bad as this kind of contrary feeling,
is precisely the bondage of body, birth and world, which ensure further
rebirth.
Oh conscious being! Open your eyes of prudence. Consider
matter substances, inert and inanimate matters which come in your view
as different from you. Dont pull the prolonging rope of attachmentaversion. This is the climax stage of ignorance due to which one has to

wander in the infinite ocean of the world.


The king understood the reality from the indication/ hint of the
saint, as a result dedicated himself on the feet of the Guru, for experiencing the divinity by the right perception. O living being king! You are
having treasure of infinite virtues, accept that by your heart and get
accurate/ right state changing the direction of the life.

Only the volitional/psychical scriptural knowledge


is important, that very is the source of the soul-form. The
food is not prepared in the absence of spoon but afterwards
the taste will not come from the spoon, it well come from
the tongue and in case the flow of consciousness is caught
somewhere by any external matter, then the tongue will
not get taste. The implied meaning is grasped only with
the positive form of flow of consciousness, merely material scriptural knowledge will be of no advantage. For souls
purity, the purpose should also be pure.

66. Red-glow of the good dawn


A Vidyadhara (human being who resides on Vijyardha Mountain
and well-versed in great learnings) proposed a person hunged on a
branch of tree holding it with his hands to accompany him, but he tasting
the drop of honey, forgot the souls intense sufferings of the hell, etc.,
not only became free from fear spurning the evident death, but became
devoid of right path. He just tangled in the house-hold entanglements
being blinded in the desire of pleasure.
O conscious soul! Is there no fatigue from the birth-death in the
race of birth after births? Are you not feeling restlessness in the constant state of frailty of the body? Oh! try to understand a little; see your
own inner-self by opening inner eyes that the body is a bag of excretion
which is cramfull with excretion, blood, pus, bone, urine, wind-bilephelgm, semen, marrow ,etc. Had it not wrapped with the skin, then o
conscious soul! what would have been its condition? How the living
being would have endured these great troubles? Flies, etc. creatures
would have eaten it again and again understanding it their food. Even it
would happen that vulture, etc., birds would have lifted it squeezing in
the beak even in the state of aliveness and would have wounded and
dismembered it.
O God soul! The Omniscient supreme soul has seen it all apparently by his omniscience and made us known its loathsomeness by his
benevolent preaching that how its filthiness is flowing from the ninedirt-doors mixed with bad smell together with the miserable state of the
body? What is its nature? with whom it resembles? Even the villainscoundrels become gentle by good company and good understanding
but the nature of this body remains the same for all the time. Leave the
thought/ option of changing it but change yourself with proper resolve.
O Great soul! see a little keeping both the eyes open. The body
is not ours. It does not behave according to our order/ intention, it has
not been taking us as one of its own, It has been continuously behaving

us like an alien all the time from childhood to the old age. In this state,
which are apparently seen distinct from each other how they will behave according to our will/ order? The substance of all of them is also
independent, thoughts are independent, transformation of mode-attribute
are independent, living, dying, getting up, sitting, etc,all are independent then whether regarding ourselves as their doer-enjoyer is not making
our independent existence as dependent? And whether directing their
independent existence by our authority is not the awful darkness of
passion/ egoism, the very cause of increasing infinite world?.
O eternal soul! Behold the supreme charm/ loveliness of the nature, where there is open manifestation of each of their respective
existence, is streamlet of ecstasy, is message of truth for all, is also
invitation to perceive truth. This very is the supreme truth that all have
their own nature, all have also their independent existence and also
have freedom of living with their own system.
O well-wisher of the self! look at yourself, this very spirituality, is
self-religion, seeing other is irreligion, is a great sin. See! To be anxious
about self is good, is co-operative in self-accomplishment, close cooperative in making body as beyond body and is the medium of taking
care of the body for the accomplishment of the religion. The hectic
activity and exchange of ideas ,etc., with the desire of sensual
enjoyments, sexual lust, is base-vile. But anxiety for other even in the
thought, is vile of the vile which is not only the casuse of aweful sufferings,
but is itself a distress. Hence, O conscious Soul! now beware, renounce
other matter knowing them as other. Make your journey introspective
knowing the truth and abandon attachment-aversion considering them
as obstacle in the right life and making each of your own breath as
yours, do self effort. This breath continuously empties the aggregate
of karmic molecules of the Age-karma like the water in the persianwheel on which the water fills and empties repeatedly. Hence see and
know it being concentrated but with the feeling of mere spectator.
Until it is breathing till then do earnest effort to achieve your own self.
Make your propitious journey of your departure from the world

(death), auspicious. Perceive the right knowledge about self celebrating


great festival of death by appropriate restraint for the state of
indeterminate ecstasy by the state of attachmentlessness.
O worshipper of the ultimate good! This kinsfolk are looking
fine only till your splendour of virtues is in balance, means material,
money are in abundance. You yourself are seeing, knowing events
happening daily, breaking of families and also your close friend whose
self interest has not been fulfilled. Their love, intimacy bites daily like
the honey-bee, but your consciousness wrapped with foolishness
stares at them with throbbing eyes like regarding pleasure in the drop
of honey becoming ignorant, suffers aweful distress entangling in
transitory sensual pleasure in the desire of happiness.
O brothers! Now see the last edge, not the beginning, search
the path of self-dawn in the intense darkness of infatuation. Accept
the words of the true Guru and also abandon now that which is sitting
like coiled-serpent in your heart with undecidedness (alternatives &
hesitations) due to attachment-avertion. Forgive all living beings and
beg pardon for your faults/ guilts. Get manifestation of the sun of
knowledge revealed in the brilliant ruddiness of the good dawn of the
truth, i.e. the lifes divine Sun.

67. Sweetness of words


Only the tree of religion is conducive to the well-being of each
and every living being in the wolrd. All always experience coolness,
happiness and peace constantly in its shade. The unrest, disturbance,
distress, attachment-avession are produced by non-religion. Where
there is religion, there always satisfaction is experienced.
Perception of the soul, is precisely named as religion.
In reality, the perverted mind of human is the cause of terrible griefs of
the world. We are good if our mind is good and when it becomes bad
we also turn into bad, and begin to reprimand-upbraid others. The fire
of passion begins to burn within ourselves which burns ourselves as
well as others. If you speak sweet, then the person before you will also
speak sweet. First of all produce sweetness in your words, should not
speak with bitter mouth. If the mind is bitter then also the speech becomes bitter and also makes the love, affinity and fraternal relations
bitter. If only one drop of poison is dropped on the tree, then the entire
tree also fades away and its fruits also become poisonous. Hence, words
of nectar should alway flow from the moon of mouth.

The pride is the name of baseness of man He,


ascending on these dwarfish shoulders wants to cross the
sky, hence make the I as the identification of spirituality,
not of pride i.e. I am soul and am myself is the doer and
enjoyer of my own thought activities and none else.

68. Right form of supreme existence


(salvation)
O brother! The judicious one prepares himself completely being
cautious about the blackness of the night seen in the ruddiness of the
evening and props up himself by careful steps. At the same time an
ignorant one repenting feels great trouble on being surrounded by the
night, attributing his mistake to others, understands that he personally is
not at fault, the faulty one is that only due to which one I am being put
to loss/ harm, this very is the cause of all my sufferings, just I should
make it right, all will then be okay because If the sky falls, we shall
gather larks.
O conscious soul! when the gamut of breath may stop when the
time may become harsh, when the string of the lute of life may break
into pieces, nobody on the earth knows it, what to say of us. Who
knows it all, is keeping complete mum. That omniscient Lord is knowing
all but he is immersed in his own bliss. Well, the God is absorbed in
himself beyond all other matters, is unseparable , is enjoying ineffable,
undisturbed bliss beyond the range of senses. When the black shadow
is being seen clearly in the state of aliveness, then reflected image of the
body is also disclosing the secret of the night of the life by its blackness.
I am the messenger of the death continuously signalling this, then why
careless and ignorant?
O conscious mover God-soul! well, all worldly beings do hustle
and bustle being afraid of the coming hint of the near approaching death
for saving themselves and take shelter of magical & mystical formulae,
Ayurvedic physicians and doctors, take medicinal extracts, chemicals,
life-giving herbs, performing devotion, worship, religious-observances,
utter prayers (entreat) Mahadeva, God of gods for the safety of their
lives. Also take vow to propitiate the deity by worship wandering round
in different countries. Spend lavishly money-wealth, prosperity for saving
their each breath. But whether any one has saved himself from death?

Whether anyone became successful/ capable in saving himself? Oh


ignorant Soul! even the Teerthankara, Chakravarti, etc. 63 great
personages (Shalaka purush) were not saved from the death in whose
service deities including Saudharma Indra remain standing. All
affluences, wealth are dwarf before whom. Indras, etc deities consider
themselves fortunate enough by becoming shadow of which Lord, but
O conscious Soul! that very Lord also attained unperturbed bliss after
completing his present age and achieved supreme rank (salvation) ,i.e.
became Siddha leaving his transitory body. The Saudharma Indra too
was also deprived of the pleasure of the heaven after completing the
age of the celestial being.
O God Soul! Awake your consciousness before the dark night
comes again. Persevere for the final emancipation for getting permanent abode forever by the right step of restraint. Be mover in conscious
soul becoming free from all traps of options where there is neither death,
nor old age, nor mortification, nor transmigration, nor disease, nor
sorrow, nor distress, nor illness-affliction, nor fear, nor despair sadness,
nor lust, nor envy, nor pride, nor insult, nor hospitality, nor reward, nor
saluting, nor reproach, nor anguish, nor strife, nor dress, nor appearance,
where none is neither small nor big, neither devotee nor the God. There
is only eternal-non breakable regime of the conscious wealth of
knowledge, is only right form of supreme existence, is everlasting
experience of the knowledge-consciousness in which there is not the
least entry of other matters.
O enjoyer of the unbreakable infinite supreme existence! See the
evening has surrounded, the glimpse of the black shadow of the death
is reflecting in the ruddiness of the life. Still there is time, prepare yourself
otherwise nothing will be understandable in the blackness of the
Amavashya (15th day of dark half of he lunar month). If by chance
you may be able to understand then there remains no time for doing
anything. Only there is time for departing. The strenghth for performing
proper/appropriate accomplishment remains no more. Today there is
time, also chance, strenght and also ability, i.e. concourse of all

requirements are present. Hence dont delay in perseverance/ effort.


After the elapse of time and missing an opportunity only repentance
would come in hand and only weeping, lamenting will happen, You will
accuse others because of not having belief on the Karmas earned by
you and fruits thereof, consequently you will be bonded with hard fetters
of new intense inauspicious Karmas. And will take birth-death
eighteen times in a breath falling in the infinite jail of Nigod with infinite
part of knowledge of a single alphabet.
O Prudent! Accept the Karam-bond earned in earlier infinite
births and also accept Karmic result enjoyed-suffered by your own
defective auspicious-inauspicious feelings as the fruit of your own
mistakes. Consider the Vedniya Karma (pain pleasure-giving Karma)
responsible for pleasure-pain got present due to virtue-sin as the result
of your passionate feeling contrary to the real nature due to fruition of
Karmas and accept your own mistakes and prepare-yourself completely
for having faith in the Deity, scripture and Guru adorned with right faith,
right knowldedge and right conduct for accomplishing your purpose in
the form of ultimate good so that not a single breath may not go empty,
not go in waste, Oh! See a little, our this rare human birth and all our
rarities are going waste along with this Jain family tradition due to passing
our breath empty.
O conscious soul! this is neither the time of accusation and counter-accusation and nor this human birth got for this work. Well, this
birth has been found for washing off the sins of births after births and
for ending the occurrence of birth and death again and again. Hence,
utilize it for becoming desire-less away from name, work and lust by
appropriate functional consciousness/ conscious flow, utilize your
characteristic of conscious flow for yourself. Achieve the top of the
universe (place of salvation) becoming pure emancipated soul (Siddha
Bhagwan) by correcting your mistake. End the journey of passionate
feelings (contrary to the real nature of the soul) of the infinite world and
occupy the place in the society of liberated souls (Siddhas), the master
of interrupted undisturbed bliss thereby proving the true socialismtion.

69. The truth is within, not is outside


The life is like ascending the Everest, the peak of the Himalaya
Mountain, is an impassable thorny path, is infinite flow of the river, is
rough and rugged uneven track, is the depth of the ocean where
innumerable, invaluable divine jewels are found. Somewhere there are
thorny shrubs and somewhere rose flowers. Somewhere there are great
banyan tree and somewhere there is poetic composition of the poet of
thorns and then somewhere is insipid, boring desert land full of
repentance. The life is a vast forest associated by dense darkness,
somewhere there is flute of the Krishna while somewhere club of Balram.
Somewhere there is decorum of Ram and somewhere lustrous fire of
Laxmans anger. Somewhere there is radiant chastity of Seeta
imprisoned in Ashok Vatika of Ravan, the ruler of Lanka. The life is the
devotion of Hanuman, somewhere it is blemished forehead of guiltless
Anjana. The life is the coronation of Ram and then somewhere is
imposed exile of Seeta. This life, the Kurukshetra of many
consonances and incoherences, is tangled in bad days and dilemma/
indecision like Pandavas and is lying on the bed of arrows like Bhishma
Pitamaha who was dutiful and fully devoted and loyal to only one side
being pledged to the empire of Hastinapur and then somewhere this life
builds the Ram -bridge on the sea for obeying the words of father
Dashrata, like Maryada Pushottam Ram for getting victory over Lanka.
O conscious soul! The truth of the world is not outside but it is
within, Peep within yourself where all is making and also spoiling where
new and newer waves are emerging at every instant and also expiring.
Outside is only the reflection of inner feelings, is thats very sunlight and
shade, pleasure & pain. Therefore, dont hold any outer chain of waves,
i.e. outer chain of griefs and dont collect things- material, meansfacilities. All this is effort in opposite direction for filling the internal
emptiness. When outer thing will not enter inside, then how the emptiness
will be filled? Do appropriate/ accurate effort internally for filling that
gap. Connect your broken wires with yourself. Get your separated
affinity in yourself. This very is the excellent work of the life. This very

is the true measure for transforming great darkness of infatuation into


light.
O conscious God! Dont move imitating others blindly, move
seeing yourself then only you will be able to understand the secret of
life. What is life? What sort of it is? When it is? Why it is so? When is
not? You will be able to get the beautiful form of solution to all these
questions The truth is that these all are outer different aspects of life
from which the liveliness of life is introduced but not the complete truth
of life. All these reveal the substance-region-time-life-course and volition. The great existence of Karmas imprints its seal on the acceptance
of our passionate feelings contrary to our real nature due to the fruition
of Karmas, then why complication/ confusion? The waves of the sea
are only reaction of the action, are reverberation/ resonance of the
sound. These are not permanent, all are to be destroyed. The mode
comes into being for destroying then why to take delight in it? Why to
become grieved? This is indeed, the infinite flow of the liquidity/ fluidity
of the substance. You only know see as a spectator. When this
spectatorhood/ indifferent volition towards worldly things would become like the mirror then all will reflect in it. Then neither there will be
attachment nor aversion, neither accepting nor renouncing. Only there
will be pure experience of the consciousness of the right knowledge of
the reality of the self consisting of omniscience. Live the life, once as an
artist. Keep equanimity/ identical feeling between meeting and
separating, between pleasure and pain. Only self-pleasure should be
expressed. See good in all with the vision of grasping virtues. Wash off
the filth of bitterness, enmity, ill feeling by the sincere, honest laughing,
make all living being as your own by the lubricant of supreme affectionate feelings. You may live with gladness and delight even in the struggles
of life, always keep intact such pleasant and smiling moments like
precious jewel. This very is the invaluable wealth of life, the use of
which saves us from despair and griefs in contrary circumstances. This
very is that inexhaustible store of pleasure which saves the present and
future from great troubles.

O great soul! well, here all have grief, trouble, weeping. But who
may save them from weeping, may cause them to laugh offering invaluable trust of treasure of laughing that very is the god of the earth and the
gift of divine life. The unexhilarated face is like the falling of the bud
being faded before becoming a flower. What is that who may neither
live his own life nor may not be able to save his own existence from
destroying.
Hence O Happy Soul! live genuine, laugh genuine, be equanimous even in afflictions and calamites. Dont laugh in such a way which
may hurt any bodys heart, may insult his self-respect because this kind
of laughing works as a weapon, which turns Ayodhya in cremationground by poisoning the ears of Maharani Kaikei and which posing
itself as Mama Shakuni, the king of Gandhar causes war of Mahabharat
working as fuel in the fire of jealousy of Duryodhana.

Live but with dignity, eat but with prudence, see but
attentively, do devotion but after distinguishing (between
true & false), contemplate, meditate the Guru but regarding
him as your own.

70. Make present as of yours


The apt saying, Eat by labour; smile whole day is giving message of sweeping the courtyard of life constantly. If somehow got even
without labour then you will not be able to utilize it correctly. All will be
exhausted in addiction and bad company. If even ate then it will not be
digested because for digesting just & ethical thoughts, conduct like
friend is needed. Today all are engaged in becoming affluent, making
money over night. Everything is being scarifieed racing vehemently in
the fire-pit, in outer demonstration in fulfilling ambitions. Neither any
one wants to see in the past opening its window nor there is thought of
the infinite future. Others apart, not even able to live in the present,
becoming present in the real sense of the word, then what will be the
future of the present? And what type of past would have been of the
present? This all is coming in the knowledge without any attempt to
know. Get up! Open eyes and making oblation of laziness, idleness,
base-company, distress of the present and anxiety of the future, offer
on the altar of duty along with offering/ pouring Shantidhara (flow of
water wishing peace all over the world) with humble facial expression
of resolve, go ahead for future with the present in the present. Behold
your beneficence in your slow smile; shape your beautiful future grasping/ comprehending the lesson from the past by your present labour/
effort.
O conscious soul! All are possessed of consciousness, but not
prosperous, The compatibility of supernatural power-accomplishment
and purity are needed for prosperity. This very is the family of
consciousness, is extension of ones own soul. See, well, one becomes
wealthy by wealth but the real wealth is our smile by which we,
experience pleasure and onlookers too are carried away in ecstasy.
But where that smile is easily available? is very rare, the treasure of
ecstasy is not found in the wealth, property, palace, multi-storied
building, son, family, honorific-paper, rank and degrees. It is neither
obtained from money nor in materials of enjoyments. It is the nondeceitful form of the soul which is not manifested by means-facilities

but by self-accomplishment, just as the food can be prepared by money,


but the hunger cannot be purchased with money. A.C.room, bed, soft
bedding, etc., all will be available from wealth but if there is no sleep
then of what value are these? The hunger and sleep demand labour.
When all evils/ vices are removed becoming sweat then the ownness of
hunger, sleep begin to rain on their own even without availability of
facilities.
O conscious soul! The internal penance is developed by outer
penance, spiritual nearness is precisely the internal austerity. When
nothing is left for doing, the state of Karamlessness comes into being.
In the process of being beyond Karmas the knowledge is to be fixed in
the knowledge, and to ownself is to be immersed in ownself. The
purity of the flow of consciousness being on increase one stage should
be so that the flow of consciousness (Upyoga) in the form of right
knowledge, right perception may become fruit of pure flow of
consciousness (Upyoga), i.e. omniscient being purified by the absolute
conduct.
O brothers! The right effort, precisely spreads the divine light in
inner-self, knowing even everything by its divine light, it remains in
itself, this very is living in present of the present. Remaining very far
from the past and future increasing the present, is precisely becoming
the Lord, i.e. Vardhman of the present. Make the present of your own
for becoming God. Even living with all, live merely with the spectators
feeling, but neither become doer of the other substances lest the darkness
of egoism may blind you, nor become enjoyer of anything lest you may
not experience your own conscious nature, and you may be deprived.

Only go on enjoying the fruit of the Karma with equanimous feeling,
for the name sake of enjoyment so that you may not have to suffer the
pain of the great grief of transmigration. Become master of your own
nature and of attributes of your own infinite consciousness, etc. getting
only which the soul becomes supreme soul. The soul is called pure soul
by washing off sins-virtues. In fact, this very effort causes us to free

from the state of labourer; and makes us enjoyer and master of the
complete enjoyment of the self-soul. This is such kind of enjoyment in
which there is no dependence, no Karam-bond, no begging from others
being destitute. It is neither the seed of the sin, nor mud of the world,
nor is filled with sensual enjoyment, nor stinged by the Karmas Fruit.
This is only that which is that very, is beyond the power of the words to
express, it only exists and is beyond the time, i.e. timeless.

A wretched man fears the death, but not the brave one
because he considers the soul immortal,even distresses
coming from all directions are wealth for him, just as
rivers coming from all the directions to agitate the sea
becom his wealth, i.e. become part of the sea and do
not any agitation to the sea .

Just as mixing the turmeric and lime turns into red form,
a different third thing, similarly mixture of animate being
and inanimate matter creates the universe. Thus the
universe stands created by artificial attempt of both
these in the form of four kinds of life-courses, i,e.
human beings ,celestial beings,infernal beings and
animals and plants. This very is named as world .
