Introduction :
At present, cell phones have highly influenced our
daily routine lives. As a result, the number of people using the
mobile network has expanded day by day. Therefore, the mobile
network business nowadays is very competitive in order to provide
good service to suit users needs. This makes users play a crucial
roles to make a decision in choosing the service network provider

The service network providers need to be aware of the users


decision in order to use these data into consideration and develop a
better network.

Objective :
To know the factors that influence in selecting mobile
phone networks of Thammasat University students, at Rangsit
campus

Assumption :
1. We expected that promotion will be the most factor
for selecting mobile phone networks
2. AIS will be the most popular service network provider
Methodology
Sample size: 60 respondents
Type:

Thammasat University students, at Rangsit campus


Divided into 3 groups

1. Technology Science

2. Health Science
3. Humanities and Social Sciences
Data collection method : questionnaire

Questionnaire
Description of questionnaire : This questionnaire is designed
to survey about factors that influence in selecting mobile phone
networks of Thammasat University students, at Rangsit campus.
Its divided into 3 parts include

1. General information

2. The respondentss specific


information toward choosing a mobile phone network. Have 5
level of satisfaction Level 5 = Most satisfied, Level 4 = Very
satisfied, Level 3 = Satisfied , Level 2 = Fairly satisfied, Level 1
= Not satisfied and have 7 factors
1. Signal quality
2. Service rate of charge
3. Advertising and public relations
4. Promotions

- Buying new a mobile phones

- Calling package
5. Customer service/Customer care
6. Security of customers
7.Other special relevant priviledge

Most factor groups that influence the selecting mobile phone networks are
security of customer and customer services/customer care, there have been the
most important factor to decide for selecting. Secondary factors group get
priority, followed advertising and public relations, signal quality, and service rate
