Linnaeus Eco-Tech 2014

Welcome to the the Ninth International Conference on the


Establishment of Cooperation between Companies and
Institutions in the Nordic Countries, the Baltic Sea Region
and the World, in Kalmar, Sweden 2426 November 2014.

Background

Linnaeus Eco-Tech has been an academic tradition


since 1997. Arranged every second year, this is the
third time the conference is arranged as a part of the
Linnaeus University formed 2010 in Kalmar, Sweden.
This is the first call for the 2014 conference. For updates

Aims

The conference aims to promote knowledge, research


and international cooperation within the areas of
environmental science and environmental engineering.
These aims are accomplished by plenary sessions,
keynote speakers, workshops, exhibitions and scientific
papers. But also through the social environment created
by the conference, where participants from different
countries, different areas and different sectors can learn
from each other.
Linnaeus Eco-Tech is based on the Triple Helix
collaboration between university, industry and public
sectors, with the goal of improving relations between
these. The objective of such collaboration is to develop
environmental technologies and sustainability in the
Baltic Sea Region and the world. This will in the long
run lead to a better quality of life for everyone.
We hope to see you at the conference!

Deadlines

Deadline for abstracts: 15 June 2014


Registration deadline: 1 September 2014
Submission for full papers: 1 September 2014

Registration fee:

5500 SEK for early bird registration before 1 June


(including all meals, coffee breaks, gala dinner and the
proceedings from the conference)
7000 SEK for late registration after 1 June

Exhibition and Poster Session:

Companies, public sector and universities are invited


to present their activities and technologies in the
Exhibition Area.

Technical Tour and Social Program:

A study visit will be arranged within the region, related


to the conference subjects. Entertainment during the
dinner will be provided as well, and many opportunities
for socializing.
