Save-A-Life and Save Taxes

If you are looking for a year end tax donation, the
parish is looking to purchase a second defibrillator. A
defibrillator costs approximately $1,500, but its value is priceless. We have just ordered one new one,
since the old one has stopped functioning. We would
like to purchase a second one due to the size of the
campus. Please contact the parish office if you are
interested in making a donation towards this purchase. Thank you.

Textile Fund Raiser
Santa Sophia Academy is undertaking a new and
different fundraiser from January 4th through 9th,
2015 to help our school fund our needs for ink cartridges in our classroom printers. Over vacation, we
invite you to clean out your closets and share your
clean, used products consisting of; sheets, jackets,
coats, backpacks, shoes, clothing, table linens, yarn,
and stuffed animals. (Please no mattresses, outdoor furniture cushions, area rugs, carpet or
carpet padding). Place your gently used items in
plastic trash bags and drop them off beginning on
Sunday, January 4th, 2015 to the Hall, before and
after mass and throughout the week, up until Friday, January 9th.
We are paid a price per pound, and these items are
recycled and re-used throughout the country and
even internationally by Ripple Textiles. Couldnt
be a better time to clean out and help your school at
the same time!
