When flood comes, fish eat ants & when flood recedes, ants eat fish. This is in real sense happens in IT as Time had changed and Outof-Box approach comes into picture. The idea behind the developing a book on MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM has been to
promote learners and make them acquaint with this acronym. This book is a footstep in this track. I am indebted to numerous people for their
facilitation and patronage during the entire progression. I would initially genuinely like to acknowledge the support and leadership of Prof.
David L Olson who is my coauthor of the book EIS. I express my appreciation to my colleagues within the Indira Gandhi National Open
University specially people from School of Management Studies and other part of the world. I would also like to acknowledge once again my
research supervisor Prof. Ramendu Roy under whose great leadership I had completed my Doctorate in ERP system. Finally, to my parents
(Amarnath and Rkumari), wife Sanyukta, daughter Samiksha and son Shashtrath who have been a continuous foundation of stimulation and
