SNPro is single phase, front end Surge

Voltage and Noise Protection device for
increasing life time of high end
sophisticated electronics or electrical
equipments. This forms front line of
protection for high end electronics
equipments. This in turn reduces risk of
damage to high value electronics
products.
The modern day electronics products are
compliant to various International
Standards for surge and noise immunity.
These surge immunity devices are
generally class III or class A devices
with lower surge absorbing capacity.
Moreover each protection device has its
own limitations in terms of energy
absorption capacity and life expectancy.
Any damage to these internal protection
devices of any electronics unit results in
to great time of outage and cost of repair
is usually very high.
The external very low cost first line of
protection SNPro is therefore must for
all such high end, delicate, costly
electronics equipments. It helps in
reducing the surge level to be withstood
by class III type surge protection in side
the electronics products.
The noise filter additionally helps in
bypassing high frequency differential
and common mode noise getting
generated
by
nearby
electronics
equipments. Also it provides a level of
inductive isolation between front end
surge protection device and surge
protection device inside the

electronics unit. This way the SNPro

forms a protecting shield for high value
electronics equipments.

It is must to have good earth protection

in the 3 pin socket where the SNPro is
getting connected. The recommended NE voltage is less than 3V.
It is always advantageous to use MCB of
suitable rating with SNPro
If the optical window i.e. Internal Fault
Indicator displays DEFECT or RED
FLAG, do not use the SNPro. It can not
give any protection against surges. It
must be replaced.
