MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 07-2013

FAVORABLY ENDORSING TO ALBAY ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE AND THE DEPARTMENT
OF ENERGY THE ELECTRIFICATION OF PUROK 6, BARANGAY BANAO, GUINOBATAN,
ALBAY UNDER THE SITIO ELECTRIFICATION PROGRAM OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
ENERGY WITH ABOITIZ POWER RENEWABLE, INC. (APRI).
Proponents/Sponsors:

Hon. Councilors FJ M. Oxales & Ryan B. Palomillo

WHEREAS, Purok 6 of Banao, this municipality, had been inspected by the Albay Electric
Cooperative, Inc. and properly identified to be qualified under the Sitio Electrification
Program of the DOE and the Electric Cooperative;
WHEREAS, an endorsement resolution to this effect from the Sangguniang Bayan is necessary
for the same to be acted upon by the Department under its Sitio Electrification
Program funded by ER-194 in cooperation with Aboitiz Power Renewable Inc.
(APRI) as per letter dated June 24, 2013 by Atty. Veronica T. Briones, Project
Supervisor of the Electric Cooperative;
WHEREAS, this project if approved and implemented is expected to benefit about 30 households
and the cost is estimated at Php 401,270.50;
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, be it now:
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in session
assembled, to endorse as it favorably endorses to Albay Electric Cooperative, Inc.
and the Department of Energy the electrification of Purok 6, Barangay Banao,
Guinobatan, Albay under the Sitio Electrification Program of the Department of
Energy in cooperation with the Aboitiz Power Renewable, Inc. (APRI).

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be furnished immediately the Department of
Energy, the Project Supervisor of the ALECO and the Barangay Council of Banao
for their information and appropriate action.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY on motion of the lead sponsoring committee chairman, Hon.
Councilor FJ M. Oxales and duly seconded by the members present this 24th day
of July, 2013.

Resolution No. 016-2013 .
