Bowline on a coil

The bowline on a coil is utilized to secure a climber to the end of

the climbing rope. Utilize a minimum of three wraps parallel to each other
and laying between the hip bone and lower set of ribs. All coils touch and
are tight enough to ensure that a fist cannot be inserted between the wraps
and the body. Wraps are free of clothing. Three distinct coils show through
the bight of the bowline. The rope coming off the bottom of the coils is on
the right side, forward of the hip and forms the bight and the overhand
knot. The rope coming off the top of the coils is on the left side, forward of
the hips and forms the third and final coil showing through the bight of the
bowline. Bowline is centered on the gig line.

Rappel seat left hand brake

The rappel seat is utilized to form a rope harness for rappelling

and can be tied for use with the left or right hand. Leg straps do
not cross, and are centered on buttocks and tight. Leg straps
form locking half-hitches on rope around waist. Square knot
properly tied on right hip and finished with two overhand
knots. Tails even within 6 inches. Carabiner properly inserted
around all ropes with opening gate opening up and
away. Carabiner will not come in contactwith square knot or
overhand knot. Rappel seat is tight enough not to allow a fist to
be inserted between the rappellers body and the harness.

Simple Homemade Napalm

Napalm is the generic name for the mixture of a flammable petroleum substance, typically diesel gasoline, with
a thickening or gelling agent to give the fiery substance sticky properties. Napalm-like fiery substances have
been used since early Greek times for war purposes. Modern day uses include of course, as an incendiary
substance that sticks readily to victims prolonging the burn, and damage, to the victim (forbidden by modernday rules of war). On the other hand, napalm can also be used in animal traps and to focus a burn on a given
area for a prolonged period of time (i.e. it can be used as a cutting device).
There are several different types of modern-day Napalm mixtures, including Napalm-B, the more modern
version of napalm. Commercial versions are typically formulated from hard-to-find agents such as naphthenic
acid and palmitic acid but homemade versions of Napalm are fairly easy to mix. Homemade napalm can be
made as follows:
1.

Fill a large container about half-way with gasoline (diesel works best).

2.

Take a Styrofoam plate and break it into small pieces.

3.

Add the pieces to the gasoline mixture.

The gasoline will dissolve the Styrofoam into a jelly-like substance. Pour out the extra gasoline leaving the
white, jelly-like substance this is your napalm, which when lit, will burn for several minutes. Engine oil can be
added to to the mixture to reduce (slow) the burn time of the substance.
Remember, this is napalm and as such, includes all the inherent dangers inherent with other flammable
substances with the addition that (1) it sticks to you, (2) produces a unhealthy smoke. In other words, the
substance is dangerous handle with care.
And yes, if you burn it on an asphalt street, it will leave a hole in the street surface.
