Welcome back! I hope you had a restful and enjoyable Winter Break. We are now heading into the second term at IFS. A couple of memos regarding math: Students are asked to practice their timetables (2-7). Testing and multiplication challenges will begin in class. Please practice these with your child regularly to develop confidence. In a few weeks, we will be beginning the measurement unit this unit has concepts (telling time, counting money, etc.) that can prove challenging for even Level 4 students. You can help your child be successful in this unit by practising these things with your child at home before the unit begins. For example, have your child count the change in his/her piggy bank, ask your child what the time is, what time it was/will be in 30 minutes. Be sure to check out our classs website below: www.shezz3b201415.weebly.com Here, you will find photos of students participating in a range of activities, along with other information about E.Q.A.O and the curriculum. Both you and your child can feel free to leave a comment on the website. Sincerely, Br. Shehzad
