The project prepared by Foundation "EUROPEAN YOUTH MEET THE CULTURAL

Poland, Estonia, Romania, Italy, Hungary and Portugal - 42 people in total. The main
objective of the exchange is to deep cooperation and understanding between young
people from different countries, by knowing the culture of the people from the
countries participating in the exchange, their national languages, traditions, history,
customs, national and realities of everyday life in the countries where they come from.
For 8 days the participants will have an opportunity to meet their peers from other
countries. This will enable them to know the history, culture and language of the
countries of their peers, to refute the stereotypes and prejudices, and promote
tolerance towards others. During the exchange the youth will participate in a variety of
activities which will help them in free exchange of opinions. Issues of cultural heritage in
each country and across the Europe will be a tool which we will use to achieve the
primary objective. During the exchange there will be organised the workshops, lectures,
presentations, games, sport activities, panel discussions, film screening, tours and
meetings with the local community. During the stay in Krakow young people will try
together - using the achievements of art and literature - to promote tolerance and fight
stereotypes . At the same time there will be organised the workshops in the purpose of
breaking down social and cultural barriers. The project will result in the promotion of
culture, art and literary constituting a joint cultural heritage. Presentation of the
European cultural heritage will illustrate how many links the different countries, i.e.
feeling the need of beauty, love and needs of acceptation. Activities will include:

- group presentation (who you are, where you are from, what you do, something about
your organization)
- national evening (traditional food, drinks; some customs from your country). Due to
