You have to appear in the written test at the above mentioned date/time/venue at your own cost. No traveling allowance will be paid
by the Company.
Admission to the test centre will be on production of this Admit Card only. Also bring one photo identity proof (Driving license/Voter
ID Card etc.) for verification purpose
Please paste your passport size photograph on the Admit Card in the space provided for Photo, if the scan photo is not visible.
Candidates will need to ensure that they reach the test venue as per the reporting time specified in the Admit Card. Late comers will
not be permitted to appear in the test.
This admit card should be brought to the examination centre and handed over to the invigilator. Please ensure that your Admit Card
is signed by the room invigilator in the box provided above. .
Candidates should carry their own blue/black ball point pen. Candidates will not be allowed to share or borrow stationary items
from other candidates.
All other items such as Calculators, Electronic Diary, Cell phone, writing pads, pencil boxes, beepers, Cameras etc. will not be
allowed into the examination hall. Candidates will have to leave the same at their own risk outside the examination hall. Any
candidate found in possession of such unauthorized material or indulging in copying or adopting unfair means will be summarily
disqualified

Candidates shall not be allowed to leave the examination hall, for any reason, once the question papers have been distributed till
the end of the test.

9.

The mere fact that a certificate of admission to the Examination has been issued to a candidate will not imply that his/her
candidature has been finally cleared, or that the entries made by the candidate in his/her application for the Examination have been
accepted by SAIL as true and correct. Candidates may note that verification of eligibility conditions of a candidate, with reference to
original documents, will be taken up only after the candidate has qualified for Interview based on the result of the written test.

Only those candidates who fulfill all the eligibility criteria should appear in the test. If at any stage it is found that the candidate is not
eligible for the post, his/her candidature will be summarily rejected.

11.

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of written test will be intimated to appear for interview/GD indue course.

12.

For Visually disabled candidates scribes/writers would be provided at the test venue by SAIL.

13.

The test booklet, answer sheet and admit card should be handed over to the invigilator after the test.

14.

Wrist watch or any electronic device is not allowed at center.

Instructions to Candidates: (Regarding Question Paper)


1.

The total test has a total of 200 questions to be attempted in 2 hours and 30 mins. All questions are compulsory and each question
carries 1 mark

2.

All questions are of the multiple choice variety with 4 alternatives.

3.

The Question Paper has two sections:- Section I- relates to the Technical / Administration discipline opted by you and has 100
questions to be attempted in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Section II- with 100 questions covers - i)General Awareness (ii) Verbal Ability
ii)Quantitative Aptitude (iv) Test of Reasoning

While both the sections will be administered simultaneously, please DO NOT open the seal of Section II till 75 minutes after
commencement of test.

Answers have to be provided in the Answer Sheet by darkening the correct alternative in the appropriate shell with blue/black ball
point pen.

6.

Every incorrect response will entail a penalty of (-) 0.25 mark (negative marking).

7.

In view of the tight time span, do not waste your time on a question which you find to be difficult. Go on solving questions one by one
and come back to the difficult questions at the end.

8.

The test booklet along with the Marked Answer Sheet & Admit Card has to be returned to the invigilator at the end of the examination.

9.

Candidates need to qualify in both the sections and all the 4 sub sections of Section II.
