Introduction
LYTAG Lightweight Aggregate was first produced in the UK in 1958, since then
over 16 million tonnes has been produced. LYTAG is UK based with a presence in
Europe and the Middle East. In 2013 Lytag Ltd will have an operating capacity of in
excess of 280,000 tonnes from two plants, one in Gdansk, Poland and the other
from a new production unit near Selby, North Yorkshire.

Develop the Lytag owned brands and become the lightweight aggregate market leader;
Promote sustainability and provide a credible alternative to natural aggregates for construction;
