Group process evaluation

1. The working process

2. Project implementation, including the use of the project management
tools
3. The teamwork
1-Groups objectives of the project
(results, level of ambition, rules, timetable)
-Did we reach our objectives?
We reach our objects but to reach them, we passed through few unpredictable
moments, like some of us had to cope with some personal issues, for example
illness and work.
- Are we satisfied with the report and the course of the process?
We are not satisfied regarding the course of our project, our
communication was poor due to lack of absence of some of our group
members and also poor chemistry between us.
- What went well and what went less well?
The good think about our collaboration it was that we were able to complete
our assignment in the end; however we went through big challenges of
communicating with each other because of our differences in personalities.
-Where did we disagree?
We actually disagree with the parts from the project which were not so
important to be mentioned in it, and also we have some different views
regarding some of the subjects;
- How do we want to continue working?
In the future if we continue to work together, we have to treat each others
opinion with an equal amount of respect and importance. We should be more
tolerant with each others problems and we should help each other when the
things get tough because we are a team.
-What do we want to change?

An important step which can be changed in our group is that we should be

more punctual from the start when its about meetings, making a plan for the
project and to specify exactly what each of us should do from the beginning.

About the completion of the project:

- Choice of and co-operation with a company
-Preparing questions for the company
The questions for the company were actually our problem statement, we first of
all set our main problem and some questions which are directly connected with
the main one.
- Preparing the problem statement
As we mentioned above the problem statement was the one which takes some
time to think about it, because it should cover the sub questions and also the
main one was our core for the entire project.
- Preparing a work plan
We did not have a work plan prepared for the whole weak/project, but we
organized our plan to work day by day. Also some of us had prepared few
sketches by home about the subjects which should be resolved with a day
before.
- Asking questions in connection with the visit ..
- Final problem statement
The final problem statement was very well established from the start; during
the project we did not change our main question.
- Elaboration of the structure of the project
every member had elaborated his own part, by giving real examples an
explaining very simply what they are doing.

- The use of theories and models

we combined the theories with the facts which we worked, and we used all the
models that fitted in our requirements. Also working by our selfs with these
models, we understood better how exactly a model can help us, what it shows
us, and in what way we can improve the company deficiencies after analyzing
the tasks required.
-The writing phase
This phase is not as easiest as it looks because each member who wrote his
part, had some difficulties during it, and we should also have an official style of
writing that should be in some way simply structured.
- The finishing phases
After all of us finished their part we just connected all of them and putted in an
understandable context.
-Use of project management tools that support the work of the project .

About the teamwork:

-Forming a team incl. team roles based on Garuda focus profiles?
This is the first stage from Garuda profiles, which it is characterized by
uncertainty about the groups purpose, structure and leadership. At this level
we start to form as a group, which for us was quite difficult because we did not
set from the start who and what should be in the team.
-Are we satisfied with the teamwork?
We are not satisfied with our team as we expected to be, because not all the
members worked at the same level as others.

- How was the working climate? Could we talk about problems? How did we
handle conflicts if any?
The working environment was a monotonic and quite during the project, but
regarding the conflicts between us, as we already specified above, we had some
conflicts between our personalities.
-Were some of us particularly active or particularly passive?
Definitely, as we mentioned, each member of us were not as active as others
from working point of view.
- What did we think of this way of working with a project?
we should change almost the entire style of working, because in this way we
only make the things run hard.
- What would we like to do differently next time?
Certainly, we should input from the start some requirements and a plan with
what should do each of us, so in this way we can work independently and than
just to have the meetings to present what we did and improving it with other
opinions, afterwards we should respect what we establish from the start.
