Nouns are a person, place, thing or idea.

Adjectives modify a noun by describing it in some way,
shape, size, color, nationality, number etc.
In French, most adjectives are placed after the noun
and also have to agree with that noun in gender and
number, which is different from English.

With many nouns you add an S to make it plural.
ie. la mre les mres, le garon les garons
Words that end in -au, -eau or -eu are made plural by
adding an X.
