A Physical diagnostic check was done by holding fluid stationary in the flowmeter
chamber.
Results:
BEFORE ZERO CAL
Pressure: 0.00 Psi
Analog Output: 4.00539 mA
Flow: 1.75631 Kg/hr
Temperature: 60.0678 oC
Based on Actual Pumping Rate Mass Flow Cutoff value was changed
Before ZERO CAL - 0.000 Kg/hr
After ZERO CAL - 2.000 Kg/hr
From the evaluation and calibration diagnostics performed this meter meets the required
operational standards.
It observed however that due to the constant nature of vibration on the Barge zero flow
activities will impact meter performance. To compensate for this minimal fluctuation the
Mass Flow Cutoff Value for the Meter was moved from 0.000 Kg/hr to 2.000 Kg/hr.
At zero flow the flowmeter will display a value representing no flow which is zero
Kilograms per hour a 4mA analog signal.
Recommendations:
Periodically Scheduled Diagnostic as per manufacturers manual or Company policy is
also recommended.

FINAL RECOMMENDATIONS
All the units checked during this scheduled Diagnostics and Calibration visit performed as
per the Manufacturers stated requirements.
The conditions under which the Units operate is prone to varied levels of vibration and this
has to be take into consideration in terms of the transmitter signals particularly at low flow
levels typically between 0 Kg/hr to 20 Kg/hr for this environment. It is recommended that
the Flowmeters be checked periodically to ensure conformance to zero span requirements
in the configuration.
Recommended interval is six months to a year.
For improved performance is also recommended that the Transmitter section of
Unit DG#5 be upgraded to the 9739 MVD type.
Important!
If it is felt that there are totalization discrepancies then further checks are also
recommended at the PLC programme level to verify flow totalization algorithm
accuracy and Flowmeter input scaling.
