Worsted Weight yarn (red, yellow, white*) Tapestry needle

Size 3 yarn in black

Using red, cast on 8 stitches and join in the round

Stuff Piece. Break yarn and draw it through the remaining stitches with a tapestry
needle.

Hole Covers (Make 5)


*Using the closest thing you can find to that shade of white (or tan depending on your
point of view), cast on 35 stitches and join in the round.
Odd Rnds 1-3. Knit
Rnd 2. [KFB K2]11x, KFB K1 (47 sts)
Bind off all stitches. Break yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing, and draw it through the
remaining stitch using a tapestry needle.

Head
Using yellow, cast on 24 stitches and join in a round.
Rnd 1-10. Knit
Rnd 11-12. K10, w&t, P12, w&t, k26
Rnd 13-14. Knit
Rnd 15. [K2tog K6]3x (21 sts)
Rnd 16-18. Knit
Rnd 19. K19, w&t, P10, w&t, K12

Stuff Piece well!
Rnd 35. [K2tog K4]3x (15 sts)
Break yarn and draw it through the remaining stitches with a tapestry needle. Add more
stuffing if necessary.

Legs (Make 4)
Using yellow, cast on 24 sts and join in a round (leaving a long tail for sewing).
Rnd 1-24. Knit
Rnd 25. [K2tog K2]6x (18 sts)
Rnd 26. [K2tog K1]6x (12 sts)
Rnd 27. [K2tog]6x (6sts)
Break yarn and draw it tightly through the remaining stitches using a tapestry needle,
stuff piece.

Spots Knit Flat (Make as many as you want (Suggest 1-3 spots)
Using the same color as the hole covers, cast on 2 stitches.
Row 1. [KFB]2x (4 sts)
Even Rows 2-8. Purl
Row 3. [KFB K1]2x (6 sts)
Row 5. Knit
Row 7. [K2tog K1] (4 sts)
Row 9. [K2tog]2x (2 sts)
Break yarn and draw it through the remaining stitches leaving a long tail for sewing

Finishing
Sew on head first and then position legs around it, using the hole covers to determine
distance. Sew on spots wherever you want. Embroider eyes using 3 stitches for each.

Shuckle looks like then you
know that he has two empty
holes on his back. My pattern
does not for one simple
reason I RAN OUT OF
ROOM! Sad truth ladies and
gentlemen You can either
use this pattern or make your
own, (I sure couldnt find any
knitted Shuckle patterns), but I
dont want a bunch of people
telling me that Shuckle has
two more holes on his back
BECAUSE I KNOW!
