Storage

Description

Cebex DS P1 must be stored between 5C and 35C. If

stored in original closed containers, it will have a shelf life
of 12 months. Do not allow the product to freeze.

Fosroc Cebex DS P1 is a polymer reinforced agent

especially designed for soil conditioning in shielded tunnel
boring machines.

Precautions
Health and safety

Soft ground tunnelling.

Designed for silt to sand soils which may contain a high

amount of water.

Application
Cebex DS P1 can be used independently, in which case it
is injected into the working chamber or screw conveyor.
The quantity of Cebex DS P1 polymer needed depends on
the soil conditions. If a transfer of dosing pump is being
used for more than one product, it is recommended to clean
the pump with water before switching to Cebex DS P1.
Application Instruction

Cebex DS P1 is non-hazardous, should not be swallowed

or allowed to come into contact with skin and eyes.
Suitable protective gloves and goggles should be worn.
Splashes on skin should be removed with water. In case of
contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water
and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical
attention immediately - do not induce vomiting. For further
information, refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet .

Cleaning
Spillage of Cebex DS P1 should be absorbed onto sand,
earth or vermiculite and transferred to suitable containers.
Remnants should be hosed down with large quantities of
water.

Adjust the properties of the excavated soil. A trial evaluation

should be conducted to determine the proper dosage for a
given soil condition or dust suppression application.

Disposal
The disposal of excess of waste material should be carried
out in accordance with local legislation under guidance of
the local waste regulatory authority.

Cebex DS P1 is non-flammable.
