In view of G.O.Ms.No.14, Higher Education (UE-II) Dept., dated 20-02-2010 and


coming into force of the UGC Regulations 2011 prescribing revised qualifications and
criteria for appointment of teachers in the Universities, the University is cancelling
the earlier notification issued on 16-06-2010 under notification No.2/2010 dated.
16-06-2010 and issuing this fresh notification in supersession of the earlier
notification for filling up the following posts as mentioned below.

The prescribed application form together with Information Brochure can be


downloaded from the University Website i.e., www.satavahana.ac.in. The filledin
application form should be accompanied by a Demand Draft for Rs.500/- (Rupees
Five Hundred only) for general candidates or Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred
only) for SC/ST/Physically Challenged candidates, whichever is applicable,
towards registration fee. The filled-in application form should reach either in
person or by post on or before 24th August, 2013. The DDs should be drawn in
favour of Registrar, Satavahana University, Karimnagar payable at State Bank
of Hyderabad, Main Branch, Karimnagar.
The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill up any or all the posts
without assigning any reasons, whatsoever, and call letters for interview will be
issued to eligible candidates only as per rules.
Applications received after the prescribed date 24/08/2013 will not be
entertained. The University is not responsible for any postal delay.

The G.O.Ms.No.14, Dt: 20/02/2010 and the UGC Regulations 2011 are available
in the website and are kept for ready reference in the administrative block of the
University.

The Candidates who had applied in response to the notification No.

2/2010, dated.16-06-2010 and are eligible as per the revised qualifications and other
conditions in terms of G.O.Ms.No.14, dt:20/02/2010 and UGC Regulations 2011 are
requested to re-submit their applications in the new prescribed format as per UGC
Regulations 2011 and need not pay again the registration fee of Rs.500/-. Where as
if any candidate had applied against the notification No. 2/2010, dated.16-06-2010
and is of the opinion that he/she is not eligible to apply against the notification No.
02/2013 dated:24/07/2013 containing the revised qualifications and other criteria,
can apply for refund of the fees paid earlier on or before 24-08-2013 and the
University shall refund the fees (both registration and application fee) within a period
of 90 days from the date of receipt of such application. If no such application is
received within the stipulated date or cutoff date, it will be deemed that the
applicant does not have the demand for refund of the fees.
