Abstract: is the summary of the experiment, what did you test and what solutions and techniques

used.
Abstract: The experiment is about Yeast population. we tested the same yeast solution we have but
used different temperatures to see which is the best way to store yeast for maximal growth. we
used equipments like the spectrometer to understand how much of has the population of yeast
grown. we used different types of temperature for a better and more accurate results towards the
experiment. In total we had 4 independent variables that we were able to control there was the
temperature of the fridge, the temperature on the incubator which was set in 30 and 38 degrees and
also we have one just left in the lab for room temperature
Introduction: give biological background of yeasts which factors affecting replication of yeast like
oxygen and the temperature. Also talk about the hypothesis. Talk about the aim of the experiment
which is about yeast production in different temperatures. The aim is what the maximal
temperature for maximal growth.
Introduction: our aim for the experiment was to find the right temperature for maximal growth in
the yeast population. since yeast is a microorganism they may have asexual and sexual reproductive
cycles. the most common way of yeast to reproduce is by budding, its when a mother cell of yeast
produce a daughter
Method: how you conduct the experiment
Results: make table and graph
Discussion: Analyse the results (at 13 degrees our yeast produce..) talk about the hypothesis if its
proved or not. Talk about the different variables towards the experiment. Talk about the errors that
did happen during the experiment and what could happen. Also talk about possible improvements
of the experiment.
Discussion : Our group The results that we have gained showed that 38 is the most effective
temperature for growth towards population of yeast, our initial result for the yeast solution at 38
was approximately 0.344 nm and after its 5 day in the incubator the yeast population grew making
the result when put in the spectrometer change in to 1.245 nm. The independent variable was of
course our temperature settings on the incubator and fridge this because our group is the one
controlling the temperature. while our dependent variable is the results we gain from controlling the
temperature. Our experiment went very well where we had no errors during the experiment the
only possible error that would ruin the experiment if the lab had a blackout causing the incubators
and fridge not to work and also if the yeast solution of room temperature where to change because
off Air conditioner, heater and etc. I think that our experiment would have been much better if one
of the people in our group were to take pictures since it was recommended by the sheet given to us
before the experiment. I also think that 30 and 38 degrees was to little of a difference it would have
been much better if it was 30 to 45 degrees so our results will show major changes.
