The A-26 table is based on nominal


diameter and the curve fit this excel
template uses is based on actual
inside diameter. Based on the two
graphs below, it is evident that even
though these are not totally
consistent, using the curve fit
matches reasonably well with the fT
based on ID when the nominal
diameters are correlated to STD
schedule actual inside diameters.

And in fact, it is likely that the


actual fT probably decreases
incrementally and continuously
across the range of diameters. The
Crane table shows a constant fT for
8 and 10" diametera and a constant
fT for 12, 14 and 16" nominal pipe
diameters. In reality the fT likely is
well behaved and monotonically
decreasing across these ranges
similar to the curve fit relationship.
In this sense, using the curve fit to
calculate fT is an acceptable
alternative to using the Crane table
directly.

1) Changed the way BPD at STP is calculated for min and max rates. Previously it was calculated by prorating from the pump flows
on the main worksheet. However, if user decides to overwrite mass rates in each individual lines segment, the bpd at std wont change
appropriately. So for the min and max BPD at STP I directly recalculate based on the lb/hr in the segment and the two spgr's.

been. These were not readily identified unless the user entered a number for the fitting count for those few paricular fittings and then
noticed that the resulting equivalent feet was zero. These have been fixed by copying the fittings (all fittings except entrance/exit
losses and reducers) from the first line segment to all line segments.
