letterhead. To use the basic Illustrator and InDesign.

Process:

I mainly used the rectangle tool to create both the front and back of
the design. I copied and pasted the contact imformation onto the

leaves from the logo to the overall card design, and to fill in white
space.

Objectives:

Create a new logo to fit a company or personal image. Deisng consistent layouts for a business card and letterhead.
Use the basic tools of Illustrator and InDesign.

Process:
I designed the logo using the line tool, and then I made it looked
faded into the background. I tpyed in my contact information
and I then made that look faded as well. Then I add lines around
it make it look boxed in, and I added in the company name and
added the logo again, but the name of the company. I decided to
add just a hint of colour with my logo, so I added one green leaf to
make it stand out.

making them look faded into the background and making
them seem transparent almost. One I added that, I moved
on and added in a wood texture to back, and I made it look
faded. I then added in the text, making one text look faded,
and other normal and standing out compared to the other.

Logos

Three logo variations for the same company.

October 31, 2015

Course Instructor:
Joel Judkins

Program(s)/Tools:
Adobe Illustrator

Objectives:

To create a variety of logos to fit a

company pr a personal image. Use the
basics of Illustrator.

Process:
This was a really fun way to use Illustrator, and learn how to
design a logo. I used the ellipse tool to help create the basic
design, and shape of the first and last images. For the middle
image I used the line tools and ellipse tool to create the leafe.
I used the pen tool to create the tea bag that is apart of the
tea cup. I then picked out fonts that I thought would look
really make the logos standout, and that would make people
interested in the design.

Brochure

Date:

December 5, 2015

Course Instructor:

Joel Judkins

Program(s)/Tools:

Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop.

Objectives:

Set up and align a two-sided, folded document.

Learn how to wrap text around an image and use
paragraph styles in InDesign.

Process:

Using Adobe Photoshop I was able to crop down that size of the images that I used.I then
moved onto InDesign, and I had split my layout into four sections. I used the line tools, and
created thick black lines around the whole page, and then I made the lines smalled and made
them the splits for the four sections. I then used the elipse tool and created a circle to put
my text in. I then added in one of my images, adding in small red lines around it to make it
stand out. I also chose a font that would stand out as well, and I added my title. I again used
the elipse tool to add in more circles, and added my last image in with blue lines around it
this time. Lastly, I again used the rectangle tool around my text to make it look boxed in and
different from the rest.

added in text that went well with background, and the
colours of the cat.
