FEATURES

Compatible with IBM' PC/AT disk drive systems.


Support up to two 3112" or 51,4" 360KB1720KBIl.2MBIl.44MB
FDD.
Support up to four (IDE) HDD interfacing with VESA Local Bus operating
at 50MHz OWS.
Support two standard RS-232 serial ports, one parallel port, and one game
port.
Jumper select to swap floppy disk A & B.
First serial port selectable as either COMl, COM3 or COM4.
Second serial port selectable as either COM2, COM3 or COM4.
Printer port selectable as either LPTl, LPT2, or LPT3.
Printer port interrupt selectable as IRQ5 or ~RQ7.
HDD controller, FDD controller, game port, parallel port and serial ports
can be individually disabled.
Design with Winbond W83759,F, W83757 AF & W83758P chipsets.
DOS, Windows 3.1, OSI2 2.X, Novell 2.XX/3.1X/4.0X Drivers available.

JUMPERS AND CONNECTORS


The following describes the jumpers and connectors of the super 110 card.

-- This is a 40-pin IDE HDD connector (IDEO connector).


-- This is a 40-pin IDE HDD connector (Optional IDEI connector).
J3 -- This is a 34-pin FDD connector.
J4 -- This is a 16-pin Game connector.
J5 -- This is a 9-pin Serial connector (COMI/COM3/COM4).
J6 -- This is a 9-pin Serial connector (COM2/COM3/COM4).
J7 -- This is a 25-pin Parallel connector (LPTl/LPT2/LPT3).
LEDI -- This is a 2-pin HDD LED Connector.

User may move up to a higher speed level after extensive disk reading and writing
tests. However, it is recommended to use the default speed when the hard disk drive
is initially installed.

HARDW ARE/SOFTW ARE INSTALLATION


JP8 -- This jumper select Game Port Jumper Setting as follow:

GAME

Install the PTI-2SSW, the IDE drives, the floppy drives and the LED
Firstly, plug the PTI-255W into a 32-bit VL-Bus slot. Secondly, properly
connect the IDE cable to the IDE drive connector and to the IDE drive(s).
Thirdly, properly connect the floppy cable to floppy drive connector and to
the floppy drive(s). Both cables should have the coloured bands on the
cable to indicate the pin 1 position.

Perform system CMOS setup, enter correct drive geometry information.


For 4 HDDs system, there is no need to setup the drive geometry
information for Drives E: and F:.

Install the Device Driver


Please refer to the README file in Driver" Diskette for detail installation
procedures to be used in various kind of operating system (DOS, Windows
3.1, OS/2 2.XX, NoveI2.XX/3.1X/4.0X).
