Frommyexperience,themajorityofstudentsspendbetweentwoandthreemonthspreparing
fortheGRE.Givenweallstruggletosustainourattentionandconcentrationformorethanthis
long,suchadurationmakesperfectsense.Afterall,lifesinevitablebumpsanddistractions
arefarmorelikelytoderailyouduringasixmonthsstudyingfortheGREthatyouarebetteroff
givingityouralloveraperiodof2to3months.Hereistheperfectplanforthosewhocan
commitboththetimeandthecognitiveresourcesnecessaryforafewmonths.

Unlikemyothertwoweeklystudyguidestheoneweekandonemonththisstudyguidehas
arangeoftwotothreemonths.Thiswiggleroomallowsthosewhohaveunpredictable
schedulesorwhosimplycannotallocateenoughhourseachweektochoosethe
threemonthplan.Forthosewhohavethetimeand/orsimplywanttobemoreaggressive,the
studyplanbelowcanbeshortenedtotwomonths.Forthelayoutbelow,however,Iwilluse8
