inside and outside China for our role in fostering critical thinking and personalized education in a new
generation of Chinese. We are currently seeking program fellows for our Localized Engagement Fellowship,
which places recent college graduates with local community partners which share our mission.
Our Philosophy
Extracurriculars activities are the unsung heroes of American education: they have imparted generations of
Americans with the skills and confidences to excel in the classroom and beyond. They are among the few forms
of education that foster critical thinking, civic mindedness, an innovative spirit and leadership. These are the
crucial traits every society needs to thrive. Sunrise operates in countries where theres a society-wide
recognition that overly-standardized education isnt serving their youths future. We are based in Beijing,
China, and run leagues, tournaments and workshops in every province across China, as well as in South Korea,
Japan and Singapore.
