Adax AS is a NOK 150 mill-plus

leading developer and marketer of

Our History
Adax AS was founded in 148
and was known as Elektro-Mekanisk.
Initially, the company was most
commonly known for its household
appliances such as kitchen aids
and handmixers. With continued
enhancement in design and
development, these products lived on
for decades and the product portfolio
has been expanded over the years
with the introduction of new products
within personal care, space heating
and ventilation. Heating products
were introduced in 160.
Adax AS Headquarters is based
in Svelvik Norway and the company
is today one of the leading
manufacturers of high quality heating
products using the brand names
Adax, Glamox Heating and Norel.

reduction is standard, providing up to
5% reduction in energy consumption
for heating. Todays demands for
energy efficiency combined with new
Norwegian building regulations
require that heating systems have
automatic night-time temperature
reduction, which is completey covered
by Adax NEO a requirement

See the set temperature easily

Easily read illuminated digits show
which temperature Adax NEO is set to
at any given time. When a period of
temperature reduction is ongoing, the
relevant temperature is displayed.
A red LED shows when the heater is
working. Every minute, the room
temperture is measured, and the
slightest deviation causes NEO to
emit more, or less, heat, as required.

plug-in thermostats are that easy to
replace, upgrade and operate.
All the controls are positioned on the
top of the heater, easily reached and
viewed. All thermostats are electronic,
providing totally precise regulation
of room temperature - essential for

Elegant lines
Adax panel heaters have a discreet,
elegant design. They are available
in a range of models with varying
lengths and outputs. All panel heaters
are 37 cm high, and all strip heaters
just 14 cm. Heaters are supplied in
lengths from 50 cm to 180 cm, with

and airing small towels in areas such

VPS9 - splashproof heater

With its rounded edges and
max. 60C front surface temperature,
the heater is child-friendly and safe.
It is therefore also ideal in the

Bathrooms
Any electrical appliance installed
in a bathroom should be fitted by a
competent electrician in accordance
with the current Regulations. Unless
otherwise specified, heaters that can
be permanently fixed have to be so
mounted that any controls cannot be
reached by a person using a bath or
shower. Portable heaters are not
suitable for use in a bathroom.
