Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist Senior Quality/Material Engineer in all quality control tasks.
Carryout testing as required by the Senior Quality/Highway Engineer.
Supervise testing by the EPC contractors.
Monitor quality assurance and quality control tests.
Inspection and supervision of all layers of pavement construction and all structural concrete works.

Key Qualifications:
I am a Civil Engineer with more than 9 years of experience in the field of civil firms. My experience
includes testing of construction materials, bituminous concrete, cement concrete, Precast concrete, Water
resource structure, mix design of concrete as per IS Codes. He has been responsible for identification of
sources of materials (soil, sand, cement, aggregates, bitumen, Sub grade, GSB, ABC, DBM, BC, MSE
Wall and steel, concrete, etc), their testing, and analysis and interpretation of test results, and recording of
data on prescribed performs as per MORTH guidelines, formulation of bituminous and concrete mix
designs, calibration of laboratory testing equipment, maintaining records of test results etc.

Free flow facilities along NH-4, NH-45 and NH-205 within Chennai City; Lane: 4/6, Project Cost: INR

length : 45 Km, Project Cost : USD 358 Million, Client : Muscat Municipality, Directorate general

Consultancy services for Project management, Review of Residual Process Design, Review of Detailed
Engineering, Procurement services, construction management & supervision and assistance in
commissioning & start up for construction of Mooring Dolphin & Catwalk at BD-III at Chennai Port.

material, review test results of quarry and borrow area material, Calibration of various testing machines
and plants, assisting in quality measures to ensure the required standards and consistency in quality,
setting up of rock crushers, coordinate and control the support personnel placed under him for checking
project quality also check mix design, laying procedure, slump control specification, checking of laboratory
and field tests.

Responsibilities include Quality control of materials, ensure that the execution of the completed works met
with the intent of specifications, Supervision of laying of Sub grade, GSB,WMM,WBM,BC,DLC,PCQ,
embankment works, shouldering, drains etc. day to day works in accordance with contract specification and
procedures to the lines and level as mentioned in the drawings. Checked temporary works and also checking of
stability of staging and shuttering works well before the concreting. The work being executed adopting modern
construction techniques and internationally accepted best practices.
