Analysis
1) For maximum prospective bankers, brand image plays a decent role while selecting a bank to
work with but more than that, they opt for a bank with better career prospects.
2) For the Gen Y bankers, flexible work timings and work life balance is of utmost importance.
3) However, lesser no. of bankers wants to go abroad for work assignments.
4) They like to take challenging tasks and on the other hand want job security feature attached
to the work.

5) Not much prospective bankers want to risk their career in new start-ups.For them, the bank
must be sustainable enough in order to align its goals with their personal goals.
6) However, to much surprise most of the population want their compensation linked with the
performance rather than a fixed remuneration throughout the time. This depicts the
awareness of the growth factor among them.
7) Technology has made the lives easier in banks, is well known by the prospective bankers.
This is clearly depicted in graph 2.
8) All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. In certain, most of the population opted for two
days weekly off, but in vain.

Result
As per the analysis, the conclusion as per us is that todays bankers look more beyond the monetary
aspects in the job, For them non-monetary motivators such as career growth, friendly office
environment and a good work life balance are also the parameters of job satisfaction.
