HANDMAIDEN (BASIC)

The Dark Elves are masters of Dark magic. According to the decrees of Malekith only
Dark Elf women may study the secrets of magic and all Sorceresses must join a Dark
Convent and swear a life of celibacy. As such they are forbidden to marry and form a
family. A candidate must undergo 12 deadly tests and if successful may become a
Sorceress. All Sorceresses must swear a vow of celibacy (i.e.: are forbidden to marry)
and are obliged to live in one of the Dark Convents. There are six convents and the most
important one is located in the city of Ghrond.

SORCERESS (ADVANCED)
Elves are magical beings with a natural affinity for guiding and channelling the shifting winds of magic that
stream from the Realm of Chaos. Unlike their kindred in Ulthuan and Athel Loren, Dark Elf Sorceresses do
not fear the corrupting power of Chaos and they use their sorcery - the unrefined power of magic - to cast
such destructive spells that entire armies have fled before their might. Chief amongst these powerful wizards
are the Sorceresses of the Dark Covenant, who learn some of the most devastating spells in the world. They
can call upon ancient daemonic entities to devour their enemies, hurl storms of wicked shards at their foes or
engulf them with bolts of dark energy..

SUPREME SORCERESS (ADVANCED)

Chief amongst the wizards of Naggaroth are the 'sisters' of the Dark Convent of Sorceresses. Competition for
positions in the Dark Convent are bloody and fierce, and only the most powerful and ruthless Sorceresses
survive the initiations. Those who succeed learn some of the most powerful magic in the world.
Dark Elves are known for their magical abilities and the Supreme Sorceresses are among the best spellcasters of their kind. They can unleash bolts of pure darkness on your adversary's units, summon ancient
demonic creatures to devour heroes, or simply bombard them with a storm of swords.

SISTER OF THE DARK CONVENT (ADVANCED)

A Spellweaver has reached the pinnacle of spellcasting ability and excels in the ways of the forest. Spellweavers maintain the
relationship between the Asrai and their woodland allies, and guard the forests boundaries. The best-known Spellweaver is Naieth
the Prophetess, who is considered by elves within Athel Loren to be the voice of Ariel. Naieth is also rumoured to be the Fay
Enchantress. Spellweavers are adept at using the Shadow Walk, which enables them to traverse the Old World at their apparent
whim, and possibly even defy the laws of time. The motives behind a Spellweavers actions are never quite clear, and Wood Elves
following their instructions often feel as if they are being manipulated in some great scheme.
