Goals
To Study the implementation of the project Insurance Customer Relationship Management Software
Development by Mastek Ltd. for the clients - Canara, HSBC and OBC.

Objectives

To study the project management process employed by Mastek to deliver the CRM software to
the client on 20th Sep. 2014

To study the Customer Relationship Management process focusing on:


o

Complaint Handling

Request Handling

Persistency Management

To identify the prominent constraints which hinder smooth functioning of the project

To study how the organization efficiently utilizes the resources for successful implementation of
the project

Project Deliverables

Report on the project management process followed at Mastek, gaps identified and suitable
recommendations for the same.

Detailed description of the steps to be followed


We shall interview the concerned manager at Mastek with the intent to know the following:

To understand the functioning of CRM process and individual modules

How a project is kick started once a project is confirmed by the client.

To understand the various processes/plans that is initiated by Mastek and their timelines.

To understand the way in which project is monitored under set of constraints

To know the organization structure in order to understand the roles and responsibilities being
allotted to different employees in the hierarchy.

Moreover we shall look into the problems faced and thus attempt to find plausible solutions for the same.
Finally we shall create a report and get it verified by the interviewed manager so as to re-affirm our
observations.

Budget
The total budget is almost nil while the miscellaneous costs may include expenses arising from
transportation costs, print outs, telephone calls etc. As per our current estimate it may vary from Rs. 1000
Rs. 1500.

Constraints

The information gathered will be based on discussion in person and over the phone and hence
there might be a slight difference in the actual situation and our understanding of the their
explanation.

The costing details of the project shall not be disclosed to us by the organization due to their
internal non-disclosure policy.

We will be able to gather the information only from onsite perspective (as the person being
interviewed is located onsite). However, offshore perspective will not be considered.

Assumptions

The information required for understanding the project shall be given by the manager in the
required manner to the extent necessary.

We shall be able to get the appointment of the manager as and when required.

Responsibilities of team members


We shall be working as a team, all interviews and brainstorming will be done in a team however the
activities shall be spear headed by the members in the following manner:

Preparation of report Shruti Khanna, Nikhil Nanda, Snigdha Ajjarapu

Arranging appointments with the required manager Prachi Jain

Preparation of required charts and figures- Nikitha Ramesh

Preparation of the final presentation Shikhar Mehrotra, Snigdha Ajjarapu

Converting telephonic interviews to script Prachi Jain, Nikitha Ramesh
