When it comes to internal pipeline radiography, Sievert deploys state-of-the-art
crawlers. In addition to these crawlers from leading names Sievert also uses inhouse brand pipeline crawlers of its own. The crawler is suitable inspection tool

PWHT
Sievert provides Post Weld Heat Treatment of carbon steels, alloy steels and
inconel super alloy pipe joints. We undertake PWHT of entire vessels with a
complete set of state-of-the-art internal and external gas firing PWHT systems.

Alternating Current Field Measurement (ACFM)

ACFM is used for detecting and sizing surface breaking flaws. ACFM is also
applied to structures both in and out of the water. (It has the advantage over
some other techniques that the structure requires minimal cleaning and that
it can be applied over paint and other coatings up to several millimeters in
thickness).
Infrared Thermography
Infrared Thermography is a fast NDT inspection method which does not
influence the process and maps the temperature differences of any object in a
range from -50 C to l500 C. Instead of detecting the temperature point by
point, our camera is able to detect the temperature across a complete surface.
This gives an excellent image of local temperature differences.
Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC)
SIEVERT offers Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) inspection technology for the
detection of corrosion areas in carbon and low alloy steels. Measurements are
taken through any non-conductive material e.g. insulation, protective
coatings, concrete and marine growth.

Risk-Based Inspection is a process that identifies, assesses and maps

process, engineers design inspection strategies (what, when, how to inspect)
that most efficiently match forecasted or observed degradation mechanisms.

AUT for Pipelines

Sievert deploys the latest state-of-the-art Automated Ultrasonic Girth weld
inspection systems using Phased Array Technology & TOFD with High
Probability of Defect Detection (POD) for testing cross-country, sub-marine
oil and gas transmission pipelines. Automated Ultrasonics now effectively
replace the time consuming and hazardous radiographic technique. The
automated ultrasonic girth weld inspection system using phased array
technology meets ASTM E-1961, DNV2000 as - F101 & API 1104 Codes.
Advanced UT for Plant Piping, Vessels, Spheres & Tanks
Advanced Ultrasonics & ToFD (PAUT & ToFD) equipment now make it
possible to inspect with multiple angles. This technology markedly improves
inspection capabilities through software control of beam characteristics.
Together Phased Array & TOFD are capable of being used for both defect
detection and sizing, hence enable the biggest advances in increasing the
speed and reliability of UT examinations.
Corrosion Mapping
Sievert provides the newest Ultrasound Corrosion Mapping system which
finds major application in corrosion and defect monitoring in tanks, vessels,
reactor units and plant pipes. Corroded areas are thoroughly investigated
with A, B and C Scan imaging.
Tube Inspection ECT/IRIS/RFET/MFL
Sievert has a multi-functional system for tube inspection to detect wall
thinning by using Eddy Current Testing, Internal Rotary Inspection System
(IRIS), Remote Field Eddy Current Testing & Magnetic Flux leakage Testing.
Its combined applications cover inspection of all kinds of condensers and
heat exchanger units. The system makes it easy to detect corrosion, pitting
and surface cracks in any type of materials.
Tank Floor & Pipe Inspection using MFL
For Tank Floor inspections Sievert uses Magnetic Flux Leakage Testing. The
system is designed to detect and size the under-floor corrosion of aboveground storage tanks. Among other things the equipment features Automatic
CAD Drawing and, real time data acquisition and analysis. Additionally,
Manual Ultrasonic Testing & Magnetic Particle Testing can also be added and
incorporated in the report through a different color code.
Laser Optics Profile Measurement by Laser Technology
Sievert provides the Visual inspection & defect measurement of Welded root
internal surface by using Laser technology. The Visual Inspection shall be
carried out with Videoscopy and LOPM with Laser Optical Profiling System.
A Video camera and Laser Optical profiling equipment are mounted on an
Inspection Crawler.

LRUT
Sievert provides Long Range Ultrasonic Testing with Magneto-strictive Sensor
System to detect corrosion, wall-loss and cracks in above-ground, buried and
insulated pipes, tubing, rods, and cables by using MsS Probes. The system enables a
guided wave to travel along the surface of the pipe to detect thickness losses. Under
ideal conditions the wave may travel 30 meters (approximately) in either direction
detecting corrosion and other surface damages within.
Acoustic Emission Testing (AET)
Sievert provides in-service inspection of storage tanks, reactor vessels, pipelines and
valves in Refineries and Petrochemical industries by using Acoustic Emission
equipment with multi software system. The system is used to detect defects like
corrosion, Wall loss and Cracks by observing the transient elastic wave generated by
the rapid release of energy within a material. Rapid and 100% inspection of job is
possible with AET system.
Low Frequency Eddy Current Testing (LFET)
Low Frequency Electromagnetic Testing is now widely used for Tank floor inspection
with enhanced software facilities. The scanners operate on the principle of Low
Frequency Electromagnetic Technique with multi-channel to detect the corrosion
and pitting on the top and bottom side plate of the tank floor. With the help of
advanced software we provide C-Scan overhead view as well as separating gradual
wall loss from pitting and quantify the remaining thickness.
Digital/Computed Radiography
Digital Computed Radiography provides a convenient and reliable way to replace film
radiography by the use of reusable Storage Phosphor plates. In addition to the
reduced cost on consumables, the return on investment of CR systems is strongly
determined by better quality, savings in exposure time, processing time and archival
time.
Digitization of Radiographs
Sievert uses world class high resolution laser film digitizers. The advantages include
ease of use, excellent density resolution, precision and spatial resolution. This system
not only allows Film radiograph duplication without losing quality, but it also features
electronic film archiving.
Positive Alloy Material Identification
Fast, reliable material analysis! Sievert's handheld XRF Systems provide 100%
positive material identification and superior material sorting.
Remote Video Inspection Crawler
Sievert deploys the most advanced and sophisticated remote imaging system which is
used for lining evaluation, base line inspection, pipeline inspection and also to
ascertain extent of collapse inside concrete pipes. A Pan-Tilt camera with auxiliary
lights mounted in the crawler capture video footage of any specific weld or parent
material damage inside the pipeline.
