Features

The DISA MATCH with its automatic core setter will enable us to maintain high production speed and
consistent molds to meet our target of 1,000 tons a month of complex cored castings. We also chose
DISA as our single supplier of a complete, integrated DISA MATCH line including Sand Plant with a

DISA TM mixer, a DISACOOL cooling drum and a DISA DTC shot blast machine.

Features that make the difference

The unique features of the DISA MATCH
ensure high performance and quality at the
lowest possible cost per casting.

Automatic core setting (CSE)

The DISA CSE gives the operator 20 seconds
to place cores at a molding speed of 120
molds/hour.

Adjustable cope and drag

stripping acceleration
Fully adjustable stripping height and acceleration protects the integrity of the mold and
optimizes the cycle time.

Light curtain
A light curtain solution gives easy and safe
access for fast match plate change.

Variable down sprue location

The DISA down sprue system allows quick
and flexible positioning for individual mold
designs.

In-chamber pattern
parting spray
The DISA in-chamber spray system extends
the pattern plate lifetime, prevents sand
sticking and improves the operators working conditions.

DISA Computer Integrated

Manufacturing (CIM)
DISA CIM modules enable automatic machine
adjustment during a pattern change. They
also make monitoring of the production and
the process easy by making production and
uptime reports available.

Adaptive mold height

The fully adaptable mold height system
ensures constant sand/metal proportion and
minimum sand consumption.

Options

Auxiliary equipment
Automatic Mold Handling
(AMH)
The DISA AMH system maximizes mold speed
and protects mold integrity through perfect synchronization with the DISA MATCH
machine.

DISA MATCH 130 with AMH

The DISA AMH solution consists of a pouring

cooling line with an automatic weight and
jacket cleaning station.

Automatic Core Setter (CSE)

The CSE ensures accurate placement of cores
and gives the operator 20 seconds to place
cores at a speed of 120 molds/hour. Manual
core setting allows the operator 3 seconds at
the same mold speed.

CSE ready for core insertion

The CSE ensures fast and easy change of the

core mask. Fixed alignment with the chamber
and guiding pins eliminate the need for tools
and additional alignment.
