During the meeting held by CRB on 17.06.2014 with officers of Railway Board
in connection with pending Assurances of the Ministry of Railways, it was desired
that a List of Expressions constituting Assurances be circulated. Accordingly, a
standard List of Expressions constituting Assurances (as indicated by Lok Sabha
and Rajya Sabha Sect) is attached.
2. All the officers and Branches may please avoid use of these expression and
unless their use is unavoidable, while submitting draft replies to starred/unstarred
questions of Lok/Rajya Sabha. Board (CRB) desires that all concerned may please
follow the instructions in this regard scrupulously to avoid unnecessary assurances
in Parliament Questions.
