I. Executive Summary

1. Brief Description of the Business

A. Type of Ownership
Sole Proprietorship

B. History
A Harvard University student named Denisse Adrianne C.
Gomez wants to buy a shoe for herself but she's too embarrassed to shop at
a department store because she has a very small foot (5 inches long) with
the height of 56. She comes up with an idea for a high-end place that
doesn't make you feel like having small feet. She gets a $40,000 bank loan,
borrows another $40,000 from her friends, opens a store, and calls it
Shoestring. She makes $500,000 in her first year. She starts a catalog,
opens three more stores, and after four years she already have 300 and plus
branches. The Shoestring label was begun in 2010 by Denisse Adrianne
Gomez when she began selling shoes. She opened two boutiques in Paris
after
experience
in
Europe
and
U.S.A.
the Company started to make fashionable shoes and high quality items
made of crystals, tortoise shell and wood. They also sold garments of
waterproof fabrics to the U.S.

The business went well. Innovation is at the core of Shoestring's

success, with no sector escaping the Group's avante-garde approach,
distribution included. All the other leading fashion brands then followed
Shoestring's lead. Shoestring casts its creative eye beyond the boundaries of
fashion, to include art, architecture, cinema and culture as key reference to
the brand's core values.

C. Possible Contribution to the Countrys Economy

Careful observation of and curiosity about the world,
society, and culture are at the core of Shoestrings creativity and modernity.
This pursuit has pushed Shoestring beyond the physical limitations of
boutiques and showrooms, provoked an interaction with different and
seemingly distant worlds, and introduced a new way to create a natural,
almost fashionless fashion.

2. Profile of the Entrepreneur

A. Expertise and Limitation
Ms. Gomez graduated BS Clothing Technology / BA
in Fashion Design in Harvard University in United States of America.
Shoestring Company still needs some professionals in making shoes to
make a fashionable trend.

because of using genuine leathers but we do have very good high
quality standard shoes.
