If the above power supplies are insufficient for your requirements please contact the KOKO
production manager to discuss other available power.
The use of any non-house special effects and other technical equipment is conditional on the
prior agreement of the KOKO Production Manager - pyrotechnics are not permitted under any
circumstances.
SMOKE MACHINE
Please note, no oil based smoke is permitted at KOKO.
If an artist wishes to bring in a sound desk it must be placed on the dance floor. Please bear in
mind that this will affect the total number of tickets which can be sold. It is also a requirement
that barriers are hired to surround the area of the desk.
ENTRY PROCEDURES
What we supply:

Two ticket staff collecting tickets at point of entry
Box office guest list area and ticket sale area
One door staff assisting customers from the cloakroom
A search team on entry enforcing house and promoter rules

What we supply:

What we need from you:
Guest list/VIP person to assign relevant wristbands etc...
A constant member of staff to liaise with head of security regarding VIP lists, photographers
etc
If required, a spotter to queue jump any VIPs that may be present
HIRE DEAL
What to expect as part of your hire fee:
1,410 standing capacity venue + sound and lights + security
One FOH engineer, one monitor engineer, one lighting engineer and one stage manager
One lockable production office with Wi-Fi + telephone
Four dressing rooms: 1 large, 1 medium, 2 small. All with Wi-Fi, fridges, mirrors and sofas and
shared shower room
One green room with Wi-Fi, sofas, games console, Xbox 360, foosball, fridge and running
water.

MARKETING
MARKETING SUPPORT FROM KOKO
Your event will be listed on koko.uk.com. If you have a promo photo or any copy you would
like included, please send it over and it will be included at our discretion. Artwork for our site
needs to be 705 x 289 pixels.
Your event will be included in our listings mail out for press, which is sent out once a week.
We can feature you event as a news item on our homepage for some time in the run up to it.
We can promote your event via our social networks - it will be announced on our Twitter and
Facebook pages and we will send out timely tweets and posts in the run up to it. There is
scope to run competitions promoting the event via these channels, but these will be
considered on an individual basis.
The event will be featured on the KOKO App.
The event can be featured in our newsletter, which is sent to the KOKO database of over
100,000 people each week.
There are lightbox sites on the exterior of the building facing Camden High Street and
Crowndale Road available for promoter use. Please email chiara@koko.uk.com if you wish to
book one of these. The charge for in-house printing of these is 95 + VAT per poster. If you
wish to supply your own, the dimensions are 1010mm x 1515mm (including a 10mm bleed)
and these must be printed on thick paper to avoid the posters warping when hung.
BRANDING GUIDELINES
When referring to KOKO on marketing material please keep to a few simple guidelines:
Please always write KOKO in uppercase
If your show is an early show before Club NME on a Friday it is essential you advertise on all
media that the main band will be on stage at 8pm. This also needs to be printed on the ticket.
On posters and other signage, where possible please use our logo which is available upon
request. Otherwise please write KOKO in uppercase using the Akzidenz-Grotesk Next Extra
Bold font.
Where KOKOs name or logo is used alongside other brands, KOKO reserves the right to
approve the use of its name and logo in advance.
BRANDING OPPORTUNITES
42" plasma screens on all levels. Ratio 16:9 resolution 10245768 fed by Kramer Video Matrix. Please
supply visuals from single bnc feed or DVD.
6mx5.5m projection motorised projection screen which drops in front of the stage. Projector Sanyo
PLC-XP 100L.
We can also provide a branding package and produce bespoke items, or contact our Production
Manager to discuss. Our preferred supplier is Made Up Ltd. http://www.madeupltd.com/
POSTER SITES
We have a selection of poster sites at KOKO, which you may use during your event. These must be
put up and taken down by yourselves.

FLYPOSTING
We must remind all promoters that flyposting is illegal under the Town and Country Planning (Control
of Advertisements) Regulations 1992. Any promoter engaging in this act who gets reported to us by
either the local council or otherwise will be asked to remove it immediately, and may be barred from
any further promotion at KOKO.
INTERNET ACCESS
We have a Fibre-Optic internet service that is sufficient for the needs of visiting personnel. It has
100mg upload and download speed, so it is more than capable of also being able to reliably stream
live broadcasts. Please ask for further details.
BACKSTAGE CATERING
We recommend Leyas for good quality and reasonably priced cold food catering. You can call them
on 07847 960 554 to place an order. Alternatively most of the restaurants listed below can provide
hot food takeaways.
