local affiliate of the national American Civil Liberties Union .since 1993. We implement legal, legislative, and public

Boise Rescue Mission - Light house Rescue Mission - Valley Women and Children's Shelter
Some of the loneliest times of the year for those living on the streets can be the holiday seasons. Boise Rescue Mission
Ministries believes they don't have to be and so we organize special banquets in Boise and Nampa at Thanksgiving and
Christmas to offer hope to our needy neighbors in the Treasure Valley. In Nampa, we will provide a holiday meal and a box
filled with holiday food. In addition, at Christmas; we will provide toys to over 1,500 children in Canyon County to make their
day a little brighter.
There are many ways individuals, businesses and organizations can help homeless and needy men, women and children
this holiday season.
Sponsor a meal for only $2.05 or a table of eight for $16.40. We will serve thousands of rpeals this holiday season.
Volunteers are needed to help with a wide variety of tasks.
Donate frozen turkeys, hams, stuffing, canned fruit and vegetables and much more to help provide a holiday meal
to those in need.

Man Up Crusade
The Man Up Crusade is a Public Awareness Campaign on the issue of domestic violence. National statistics show 1 in 3
women and 1 in 7 men will be victims of domestic violence in their lifetime. Every 9 seconds a woman is assaulted or
beaten in this country every day. On average, more than 3 women and 1 man are murdered by their intimate partners in
this country every day. Because of the enormity of this issue the Man Up Crusade was launched in 2012 by partnering
with Professional Rodeo, State Fairs and other sporting events to establish Purple Day I Night into events with the
competitors and fans wearing PURPLE in solidarity and unity to stop domestic violence. The Man Up Crusade is primarily
funded by private and business donations as well as public support through volunteerism. In order to spread this
important message and help nurture and change the next generation of young people to develop healthy relationships
and role models, it requires financial assistance both large and small. Please join the Crusade and help stop domestic
violence by donating today www manupcrusade.com
