HOW TO USE THIS CHART:

1. Find out TOTAL exposure time for all shots in minutes for the joint offered and select the dose allowed in mR/hr.
2. Select the required barricade distance corresponding to the strength of the source and the dose allowed.
3. Barricade with barricade tape for the selected distance from the source.
4. Verify the dose exposure level during exposure for safety.
5. However Radiographers may use their professional judgement to adjust the barricade distance depending on the structures
available for attenuation between the source and the barricade.
