Open Studio: Come for a night of creativity at ACT! For two hours, participants will
have access to ACT art supplies to create their own masterpieces! Along with this, there
will also be planned crafts for those who prefer a bit more guidance.
ACTion Choir: A community choir focusing on fun, friendship, and music
technique. No experience necessary. Location: Kuyper College; 3333 East Beltline Ave

ACTion Drummers: This in-depth drumming class is for folks interested in learning
more about drumming and performing in various community locations. To become an
ACTion drummer, you must have taken an introductory drumming course, or you
must set up a time to meet with Josh Dunigan, ACTion Drummers instructor. To do so,

Paper Mache Sculpture: In this class, students will become expert paper mache
sculpture artists and will get to create fun projects of varying styles and sizes. And, the
class will end with a special community showcase of the students artwork.
Dance Choreography: Dance and Creative Movement will take place in a fun,
community environment where students will learn new moves and choreographed
dances. And, the class will end with a special community performance.

ACT encourages participants to bring an assistant if necessary for meaningful
participation in class. There is no cost for assistants. Please note that we will not provide
art supplies for assistants as the purpose of the assistant is to help the participant, not to
work on his or her own art project.

Musical Theater: In this class, students will get to explore the art form of musical
theater! Students will sing familiar songs from classic and popular musicals, learn
simple dance moves, and act out songs and stories at a final musical production for
family and friends.
Picture This! Photography: In photography class, students will learn the basics of
digital photography and will learn to look at the world around them in new and
exciting ways.

Both classes will be covering the same material, and will do two community performances. Each
class will be capped at 15 students. If less than 5 people sign up for one of these classes, the two
will be combined and this class will be held from 5:45-6:45 pm.
