WALKs Christmas Winter Wonderland - Drimnagh Castle, Long Mile Road, Dublin 12

The WALK Winter Wonderland is taking place on 5th, 6th and 7th December in Drimnagh Castle. WALK
are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing and energetic volunteers to be a part of the Winter Wonderland and take on
the role of the following characters; Santa, Mrs Claus, Elves, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and The Incredible
Hulk. All volunteers will be supported in their role and guidance and costumes will be provided. This is a fantastic event to be involved in, its lots of fun and really gets you in to the Christmas spirit. We are looking for 10 eager
volunteers ready to get in to character with plenty of energy and confidence and enjoy working with children.

Tearfund Irealand World AIDS Day - Multiple Locations in the Dublin Area
Tearfund Ireland is looking for 10 outgoing volunteers over the age of 15 who can are ready to Carry out a bucket collection in specific areas in Dublin City Centre for World AIDS Day on December 1st 2014 to raise funds for
ongoing work in Malawi around HIV/AIDS. This collection will take place in multiple locations: Grafton
Street, Westmoreland Street, Liffey Street, and OConnell Street. We are looking for volunteers with outgoing personalities and fantastic communication skills to help gain support and collect for World AIDS Day.

Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Community Mothers
We are looking for parents to support program for mothers in the local community. Local women, known as community mothers, carry out monthly visits to first and second time mothers in their own homes. These are structured visits on parenting. Focus is on health care, nutrition and the baby's overall development. Volunteers must
be a parent and should have a warm, friendly personality, good listening skills, and be caring and nonjudgemental. Training will be provided for 3 sessions to cover the Community Mothers programme/material.

Volleyball Association of Ireland National Childrens Officer - 141 Thomas Street, Dublin 8
The Volleyball Association of Ireland is the official volleyball association in the Republic of Ireland. We are looking for volunteers with excellent computer literacy and communication skills, who also have a strong interest in
childrens safety and sport. In this role the volunteer must familiarise with Children First and Our Duty to Care to
ensure you can act as an information source to other members of the organisation, commitment to attendance, promote the values, attitudes and structures which make sport enjoyable for children, and be a liaison with all of the
clubs. Volunteers for this position must be available for at least 6 hours per week.

Scouting Ireland Philbsboro Scouts Panama Unit - Royal Canal Bank, Phibsboro , Dublin 7
We would love anyone with any scouting skills or related skills to the scouting field to help with training and encouraging the children from the ages of 6/15. Full scout training given to the successful candidate and full support
of the Group. Volunteers must be over the age of 18 and should have skills in tent pitching, pioneering, map and
compass, first aid, backwoods cooking, life skills, and water sports. Join us in scouting is such a well organised
organisation and it has great benefits socially. It is such a worthy organisation to be involved in teaching kids.

Tolka Area Partnership English Language Volunteers - 27-28 Annamoe Terrace, Dublin 7
Filte Isteach is a community project with volunteers welcoming new migrants through conversational English
classes taking place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, between 6-8pm. We utilise the skills, talents and expertise of older volunteers and harnesses their desire to contribute positively to society Volunteers should be able to
talk to immigrants who want help with their conversational English. They will be provided with lesson plans from
which they can work. Volunteers should be available 2 hours per week and must be kind, patient, reliable, and
open to meeting new people.
