THERE IS NO ASLAAFS IJMA ON JINNS POSSESSION.

A few people say that though possession of jinn is not proved by Quran and
authentic hadeeth, there is ijma of Aslaaf on it. I say that this is hundred
percent lie and incorrect. There is no ijma of Aslaf on possession of jinn. There
is no proof that sahabas (R.A.) ever agreed on jinns possession and we do not
get any proof of it from Kholafa e Rashedeen, Hazrat Abu Bakar (R.A.), Hazrat
Umar (R.A.), Hazrat Uthmaan (R.A.), Hazrat Ali (R.A.) that they ever exorcised a
mental patient thinking them to be possessed. Ashra Mubashshira, the people
who were granted jannah in their lives, never exorcised. Among the four
Imams, Abu Hanifa (R.A.), Malik (R.A.), Ahmad bin Humbal (R.A.) and Shafai
(R.A.) only Ahmad bin Humbal had the aqeedah of jinns possession. Even after
that, among thousands of Ulemas, only Imam Ibn Taymiah and a few scholars
had the aqeedah of jinns possession. So it is wrong and incorrect to say that
there is ijma on Jinns possession.
At present, all Ulemas do not have aqeedah on jinns possession. The president
of Kolkata Shahri jammiat Ahle Hadeeth, Shaikh Abdul Khallaque Nadwi (R.H.)
would not concur on jinns possession. Mufti Ehsan Danish of Etawa, Maulana
Abdur Raoof of Jharkhand and Shaikh Abu Ibrahim Abdul Majid of Kuwait and
England are against the false aqeedah of jinns possession. Shaikh of Jamea
Salafia Banaras Hazrat Muqtada Hasan Azhari (R.H.) once told me that he got
the evidence of entering of Shaitan into human body for evil whispering but he
could not get any proof that it makes him or her mad from the Quran and
authentic Hadeeth. Shaikh Ata Bin Abul Rashta of Saudi Arabia is dead against
the aqeedah of jinns possession. He has given many fatwas against this
aqeedah and has written many articles proving that aqeedah of jinns
possession is totally wrong. There are thousands of Ulemas in the world who
do not believe in the possession of jinn.
By these evidences we can easily say that there was never any ijma of scholars
on this aqeedah, of possession of jinn, in the past nor is there any ijma now.
May Allah (S.W.T.) make us follow holy Quran and Authentic Hadeeth and save
us from shirk and biddah. Aameen.

May Allah (S.W.T.) bless our salf- as- Saleheen. As their ijma was never on any
wrong thing, how is it possible that their ijma would have been on the false
and batil aqeedah of Jinns possession.
