Attendance, Punctuality, and Participation: (15%) The student’s
final grade will be lowered by 1/3 letter grade for each unexcused
absence. To receive an excused absence, a doctor’s note is
required immediately upon the student’s return to class. If you are
late twice, that equals one unexcused absence and shall be
reflected in your final grade. Students are graded on participation
in class discussions, preparation, and in-class activities. The
student’s ability to take direction, correction, preparedness, and
willingness to readily participate and work as part of a team will be
measured and graded by the instructor.

moments, etc.) The log is your roadmap through this course to the
final project. It must be clearly organized and methodic. The log
entries are to be typed up or neatly and creatively presented and
submitted with the final presentation. The log can include creative
writing, scholarly writing, and/or technical writing that supplements
and enhances the student’s final project presentation. Please
include an annotated bibliography at end of your log of the 5-7
sources you will use for your final project. These sources should
support your theoretical arguments as they reveal themselves in
your log.
Final Project: (50%) The students shall submit a creative project
that demonstrates comprehension and applications of the theories
covered as well as creates, expands, or contributes to their
(creative) MA portfolio or (creative) dissertation. The project may
be visual, audio, written, technological, or a performance. The final
project must be able to be circulated and disseminated. So please
plan to put your work in a format that can be circulated (i.e., DVD,
CD, paper, chap-book, server, Power-Point, slides, website, blog,
