History & Introduction
Getz Pharma (Pvt) Limited is a research driven branded generic pharmaceutical and a
bio-similar company with a global outlook. It is the third largest pharmaceutical company of
Pakistan and is the leading exporter of Pharmaceuticals from Pakistan. The company has
received the FPCC&I Export Trophy from the President and Prime minister of Pakistan for
the last six consecutive years for the highest exports in pharmaceuticals. The company
employs over 2,500 people in Pakistan and is the highest investor in the pharmaceutical
sector of Pakistan. Getz Pharma is the second largest contributor to the national exchequer
in terms of taxes and duties and is also the second highest contributor to the Ministry of
Healths Central Research Fund (CRF). The fact that in a short period of sixteen years, from
its inception in 1995, the company has achieved the position of the largest pharmaceutical
exporter as well as the second largest taxpayer is a proof of its good corporate citizenship
and governance.

The products manufactured at Getz Pharmas state of the art and cGMP approved
pharmaceutical plant at Karachi, Pakistan are marketed in the advanced developing
countries. Some of the countries where our products are marketed are: Philippines,
Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Central Asian
States. Getz Pharma is committed to producing products that meet or exceed the
international standards. The fact that our products are well accepted and their demand is
growing in these countries is because of the confidence imposed in their quality by the
medical community and patients globally.

four years, Getz Pharma has invested over four billion rupees in up-grading and expansion of
its plant, HVAC systems and facilities. Getz Pharmas plant is equipped with state of the art
pharmaceutical production and quality control equipment of the highest standards. We have
state of the art sterile injectables manufacturing facility which is designed and built as per
the design and operating standards laid down by US-FDA and WHO. Getz Pharma has state
of the art IT based ERP systems which runs its integrated management and business
systems through complete automation and accuracy.
