Simply Orange, Simply Lemonade, and Simply Lemonade with Raspberry
Target Group:
Children and Adults aged 10-70
Brief History:
Headquartered in Apopka, Florida, Simply Orange Juice Company is proud of the
approach they take with their great tasting 100% juices and juice drinks. Since the
launch of Simply Orange in 2001, they have been making orange juice simple, the
way nature intended. Their not from concentrate orange juice has never contained
added water, sugar or preservatives and is gently pasteurized to ensure that you
always get a fresh squeezed taste experience.
Big Idea:
For my redesign, I first decided to change the fonts of the Simply Orange design. The
fonts are not modern and if changed, their target audience will be more broad. I also
changed the shapes and overall design of the placement of the words. Also, in order
to get a new, modern look, I added vector fruit instead of fresh fruit. This too will also
help in making the target audience larger and help to increase sales. This product
can be pretty pricey and if the design is more attractive and has more of a modern
look, it will stand out to what people are used to seeing now. Most modern designed
food products have very simple designs, so if this juice had a more young, fresh look,
it would stand out among other juices on the shelf.

Grand Hotel
In the design, Bright and Beautiful is used for the logo and the description
sub-heading, as well as the sub-heading on the back label. The logo copy
should be sized at 48 pt and the sub-heading copy at 14 pt. Grand Hotel is
to be used for the explanation sub-headings to add contrast. The copy for
Grand Hotel should be sized at 14 pt. The nutrition facts are Myriad Pro sized
at 9 pt. Each font is used as regular style.
Style Guide
Logos:
The color logos should be used in most forms of print. The grayscale logos
should only be used when necessary to demonstrate the logo. Each logo is
only to be used for its designated flavor of juice. The Simply Orange logo is
the primary logo for most marketing unless other flavors will be individually
marketed. When placing the logo on the label position it 3/4 from the
top and 1 1/4 from the bottom. For size recommendations, use the s as a
measurement like what is displayed below.

Label Design
Primary labels:
These labels are designed for the 11.5 oz Simply Orange juice, Simply Lemonade
juice, and Simply Lemonade with raspberry juice. The nutrition labels and
nutrition information is only applicable for the 11.5 oz juice. The fresh taste labels
are to seal the lid to the bottle, as seen on the product, to preserve a fresh taste.
