We heartily welcome all who are worshipping with us this Lord’s Day.
May the Lord give us all listening ears and bless His Word to our hearts.
 Today, Dr. David Murray will conduct the services.

 The Sunday school/Catechism classes ( Beginners – 7 Grade) will

meet upstairs today. The Psalter of the month for January is #428: 2, 5, 8.
Parents and grandparent are welcome to join us for the singing.
 Adult Sunday School will resume on Sunday morning, January 10.
 From the Deacons: Donation Envelopes: Please begin using this
year’s donation envelopes today.
 From the Deacons: We would like to thank you for your advice and
suggestions regarding the Education Fund. Accordingly, we have lowered
the base amount and continue to partner with our families in the
commitment and support of Christian education. If you have not yet turned
in your request for Christian education assistance, forms are available in
the Narthex. Please complete them by January 10. We ask the
congregation to remember our families and youth in your prayers and
support and encourage them in their efforts to provide Christian education.

year. We thank Him for the faithful attendance He has given many of you
for the means of grace and for the faithful, prayerful financial support He
has given through you for our ministries. Much seed has been sown.
Where is the harvest? Have we grown in Christ? Have we decreased?
Has He increased? May God, our Father, the Potter, shape us individually
and as a congregation to make us fit for the Master’s use to His glory in the
New Year.
In Psalm 42 the poet laments the fact that he is hindered from assembling
in God's house as he did in former days. (PS.42:4) Likewise, there are
some of our members who, to their great sorrow, are no longer able to
attend the worship services. Therefore, when the Lord in His goodness
gives us the opportunity to assemble in His house for worship and praise,
let us make use of this gift of God while we still can. The day may well
come that this blessing is taken from us.
May we be found together in the house of prayer each time the
opportunity is given, twice on each Lord’s Day, at each special feast and
prayer day, and on the Wednesday evening gatherings. May God grant
increasing evidence of the work of His Holy Spirit in our midst as we seek
Him together in prayer and worship. May none of us forsake the assembling
of ourselves together. May our prayer be the words of Hebrews 10:22-25.

Tonight (Sunday) Young Peoples meeting after the evening service. We
hope to go caroling. Snack: Jared Timmer
January 5 (Tuesday) 7 PM Dorcas Guild meeting. Our project for January
is to help the Pregnancy Resource Center. We will be setting up a crib in
the basement. The entire congregation is encouraged to put donations in
the crib. Donations may be placed in it for the entire month. Thank you!!
January 6 (Wednesday) 5:45-7 PM Monthly fellowship meal in the church
basement. Please see your mailbox or the narthex for meal assignments.
January 6 (Wednesday) 7 PM Fellowship meeting led by Pastor Bilkes.
The topic with be the Westminster Confession; Chapter 6.

We will be studying, Respectable Sins session 6.
January 12 (Tuesday) 9:30 AM Ladies Bible Study. We plan to start study
at 10 AM with coffee at 9:30. Nursery will be provided.
January 13 (Wednesday) 7 PM. Fellowship meeting led by Pastor Bilkes.

 CHURCH FAMILY
Mr. & Mrs. Robert & Bertha Timmer hope to celebrate their 50th wedding
anniversary this week Thursday, January 7. We rejoice together with
them. We commend them to the Lord (Psalm 27).

The sick: John Beute will be at Karmanos Cancer Center Jan 4 - 6 as an
outpatient to prepare for the stem cell transplant/rescue. He will be admitted
as an inpatient on Jan 7th for transplant with an anticipated length of stay
of approximately 2 weeks. Please pray for a successful procedure,
the healthcare team caring for him, and for his recovery - may God receive
all the honor and glory. For updates and correspondence, please refer to
