Pendahuluan

Until a few years ago, the manufacturing process was managed with paper documents
An ERP system was installed, but did not extend to the shop floor
Significant research was done before deciding to add the shop floor reporting module
Autosystems management decided to consider installing the shop floor reporting module
available for their ERP system
Installed the ActivEntry shop floor reporting system to move their shop floor information into
their TRANS4M ERP system.
Lori Asbourne, a business systems analyst, and Peggy Shires, a cost accountant, handled the
implementation of the ActivEntry piece of the project.

How to make a faster and more responsive system

Strength

1. First headlamp assembly in 1987 and by 1997 had manufactured over 10


million headlamp assemblies.
2. In 1994 received the Ford Q1 award, and they were GM Supplier of the Year
for headlamp assemblies in 1995 and 1996.

Rekomendasi
Training karena dilihat dari resiko yang kecil karena kita hanya akan mengirim beberapa supervisors
yang membuat biaya tidak banyak dan mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan serta akan terus digunakan
dalam system.
Dalam proses training, ada beberapa hal yang akan dilatih
1. Making the process more proportionate: to make the process simpler for small scale, low impact
developments. These measures will reduce the burdens on applicants from having to provide
unnecessary information, and reduce the numbers of applications previously considered to be
invalid, thereby reducing the burdens on local planning authorities and speeding up the
processing of applications.
2. Making the process more effective: The aim of these measures is to avoid problems later in the
process by ensuring that issues are identified at pre-application stage and addressed
appropriately in the application and supporting documentation.
Implementasi
1. Memilih beberapa supervisors untuk mengikuti training
2. Setelah supervisor selesai mengikuti training, mereka akan training supervisor lainnya
3. Masing-masing supervisor mentraining administrator pada department mereka khususnya di
floor
4. Administrator mengimplementasikan apa yang telah mereka pelajari agar sistem berjalan lebih
cepat dan responsive
5. Supervisor mengontrol pekerjaan setiap administrator
