Procedure
ACTIVITY I Warmer Find someone who (whole class)
Aim: to warm Ss up
Time: 5 min.
Procedure: The teacher writes 5 sentences on the Bb.. Students write them into their
notebooks, then walk around the class asking their classmates using Do you?
questions. Answers are checked with the whole class.

ACTIVITY II - Reinforcing and checking the previous knowledge (group work)
Aim: to practice expressing how often they do different activities.
Time: 10 min.
Procedure: Groups of 6 students are made. The T. gives each group a set of cards faced
down. Students take it in turns to pick up a card then ask someone how often they do this
particular activity. The student answers with an appropriate adverb of frequency. The
activity continues with the next person in the group. Answers are checked with the whole
class.

ACTIVITY III Practice Story reconstruction (Group work)
Aim: to practice using the sequence of activities in the present
Time: 30 min.
Procedure: The class is divided in 4 groups. Each group is given an envelope containing
cut outs of a story (Worksheet 1). They have to arrange the sentences in order to make a
logical story. The group who finishes first gets a point. The team who arranges the story
correctly gets 2 points. After they make up the story the students have to do the exercises
on Worksheet 2.
