Looking Back:
This year has gone by so
fast, it is hard to believe all
that has happened. The
newest member of our family,
Gabriela, was born on Nov.
6th and is so peaceful. David
is such a proud older brother
and very protective. Our life
is fuller and better for having
Gabriela in it.
The church is growing so
fast, at times it is hard to
keep up. We are seeing
people fall in love with Jesus
and begin to walk with him.
Looking back it is hard to
believe that on Jan. 4th we
started Vereda with 15 people
and today there are more
then 170 people worshiping
together every Sunday. One
of the aspects of Vereda that
gives me great Joy, is the
heart of service God has
instilled in the people. Last
week we had two big
outreaches that acted as our
Christmas events. We talked
to the church about loving out
this year instead of loving in.
So they did just that. We were
able to do gift packages for
220 kids who live in a
pediatric hospital. 25 people
from the church went and
prayed with the kids and their
parents, gave them gifts and
told them they were loved.
Three days later we did and
event with Alicia Ramirez in La
Casa Del Mana. The event
was organized by the youth
and we were able to serve
250 kids from a poverty
stricken neighborhood. The
youth presented the Gospel
message in a very attention
grabbing way that had all of
the kids on the edge of their
seats. After that we fed all of
the kids and their parents. It
was so successful that we are
talking with Alicia about doing
something similar every
month.
Watching people serve
those with less and loving the
hurting makes me proud,
proud to be part of a
community of believers who
not only talk about the love of
God but show it.
We have been blessed,
our family is growing and full
of joy, and our church family
is growing and full of life.
With great anticipation we
look forward to 2010 and
what it holds.

church will not distract us
from it vision and
purpose.

* Unity with the other
churches and pastors in
our city.
* For safety, and for
wisdom to wisely
incorporate ministry
and family time.
