years
Eg : Health care industry/HLL Life Care ltd Perrorkada Factory
3.

Relevance of SlNo.1&2: problem identification and relevant significance of the topic

Remaining Chapters are as follows-Total 7 chapters

Chapter 2: Review of literature:

Chapter3: Research Methodology:
Chapter 4: Data Analysis and Interpretation:
Chapter 5: Findings:
Chapter 6: Suggestions:
Chapter 7: Conclusion:
Area of improvement can also be added as a chapter (optional)

Appendix:
It should include
BibblographyQuestionnaire format
Style of project -

Description of Chapters
Chapter 2: Review of literatureAbout 10-15 Definitions on the topic
About 10-15 author names Year or findings-(From net worldwide studies)

authors findings should be written as author name, opined, observed, found

Author name (year)-Chronological order
1 finding 2-3 sentences
Key words used in literature study: Opined/Found/Observed
CHAPTER 3-RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
1. Statement of the Problem
2. Relevance of the Problem
For each problem, there is an objective and a finding
If there are n problems, there are n objectives and n findings
Frame Questions and the form of the questions will be WHAT, HOW
3. HYPOTHESIS
Let Ho be the null Hypothesis
Identify 2 variables which can be correlated V1&V2 from the questionnaire

4. SAMPLE SIZE AND SAMPLING TECHNIQUE

Sample should represent the population
The types of sampling which can be used for the project can be
1. Convenience Sampling/random sampling
2. Proportionate SamplingFormula for Sampling
If no. of population is less,
Sample size n= N/1+0.0025N
Sample Frame: If the sample size is 100, proportionate based on the dept wise in the project
Insert Sample frame in the project

5. DATA ANALYSIS TOOL
Use Minimum 3-4 tools
1. Percentage Method

Weighted Average Method

Chi Square
Rank Correlation Coefficient-Spearman Rank Correlation Coefficient
Anova -Non Metric
RESEARCH INSTRUMENT
Primary data is collected through a non-disguised structured questionnaire. It contains 2 parts
Part A:
Comprising Personal profile, Name, Age, Description (Optional to be filled by the respondent)
Part B:
Variables used in the study
7. Limitations in the project:
1. Time Factor
2. Working Environment
3 .Employees are busy

7.LIMITATIONS

Each table shows sources of Primary data collected through questionnaire

List of tables and Charts

Variables used in the study
Likert rating scale in a 4/5 point scale
No. of questions should be -20 Nos
Give your opinion in a 4 point scale

The

systematic way of data analysis is as follows

1. Table
2. Interpretation
3. Charts-Such as Pie chart to be drawn
4. Analysis
Tool No 2
Weighted Average Method
Rating provided is Poor-Excellent
Assign weight to each of the variable
E-5,VG-4 G-3 AV-2 P-1
4.2.1

Weightage

Weightage

Weighted average mean is to be calculated

Value of the weighted average mean will be in the range 1-4
Calculate the Mid value of 1-4= 1+2+3+4/4 =2.5
We have to benchmark with the mid value
If the calculated value is more than the mid value- it is Favorable
If the calculated value is less than mid value, it is unfavorable
If the calculated value is equal to the mid value it is at par
From this conclusion of variables is to be made as at par, unfavorable and favorable

Interpretation

Tool No.3
CHI SQUARE distribution
Let Ho be the Null Hypothesis HO: There is NO significant relation between the variables
HI THERE IS SIGNIFICANT RELATION B/W
Draw the chi square table with 2 variables
Calculated Expected Frequency pertaining to row and columns and degree of freedom
Calculate the table value corresponding to degree of freedom and 95% significance
(use Significance level as 95% in all projects)
Compare Table value and calculated value
If the table value> Calculated value, Accept H0If the table value< Calculated value, Reject H0-

1V.

RANKING METHOD

Find out the variables used for ranking

Correlation Coefficient can also be used for comparison of ranks
Or use Spearmans Ranking Coefficient
Eg: TQM before implementation and TQM after implementation

CHAPTER 5
FINDINGS
Copy and paste interpretations from the previous chapters to arrive at the findings
CHAPTER 6
SUGGESTIONS
Derive Suggestions from the following aspects of the project
1. Analysis based
2. Open Question Method
CHAPTER 7
CONCLUSION
SHOULD BE DRAFTED BASED ON
1. Title of study
2. Objective of the study
3. Major findings-Suggestions from major findings
4. Scope for further improvement or recommended solutions
