REALITIES:

Most, if not all, of our Leaders Training materials

were handed me down from CFC.
We need to come up with our own Leaders
Training materials to cater to the single leaders:
o identity
o varying work conditions
o fast transition of leaders

This is a deliberate response to the ever constant

call and challenges of our work of evangelization:
o recruit
o retain & revive

HOUSEHOLD
HEADS TRAINING
Walk-through

What is a Household?

A household is a grouping of singles

who meet regularly for personal
sharing and for mutual support and
encouragement in the Christian life.
As such, the household is the basic unit
in the pastoral structure of CFC Singles
for Christ (SFC).

What is a Household?

The household is led by a Household

Head.
A household is composed of four to
seven (4-7) singles including the
Household Head. Groupings are based
on gender: either male or female.
Every SFC member is to belong to a
household.

Principles of the HHT:

Chapter Leaders as organizers.

The HHT is very intimate in terms of
its number of attendees.
Attendees are potential household
heads recommended by their current
Household Heads.

Principles of the HHT:

They should have the ff qualifications:

an active member of SFC for at least 1 year

have completed the COW

The HHT has two parts:

Part 1 - Household Heads Orientation &

Workshops (HHO), and
Part 2 - Household Heads Teaching Series (HHTS)

Principles of the HHT:

The HHO contains the ff:

4 Talks and 3 Workshops

can be done on a half day (2x) or whole day format
must be done prior to the new Household Heads
assuming their new position

The HHTS contains the ff:

6 Talks
must be completed within 6 months after the completion
of the HHO

Principles of the HHT:

HHO Talks:
Talk

1 - Being a Servant
Talk 2 - The Household
Talk 3 - Building Relationships
Talk 4 - Zeal and Single-mindedness for God

HHO Workshops:
Workshop

1 - Conducting One to ones

Workshop 2 - Leading a Prayer Meeting
Workshop 3 - Worship Leading

Principles of the HHT:

HHTS Talks:
Talk

1 - Brotherly Love
Talk 2 - Prayer and Intercession
Talk 3 - Faith in God and Humble Leadership
Talk 4 - Good Example and Evangelistic Headship
Talk 5 - Correction and Encouragement
Talk 6 Evaluation

Principles of the HHT:

The Chapter Leaders can tap their Unit

Heads and current Household Heads
as service team, speakers, etc.
All of the current Household Heads
are encouraged to participate in the
HHT as a refresher.

Principles of the HHT:

Upon completion of the HHT, the new

Household Heads will receive their
Household Heads Manual.
While waiting for his/her members,
the new Household Head can remain
with his/her original household.

Principles of the HHT:

And while waiting, they will be included in a

pool (or list) of eligible Household heads for
the CLPs next year.
Being in this pool does not necessarily mean
that he/she is assured of being a household
head. The Chapter Leaders will still rely heavily
on their current household heads discernment.

It is highly recommended that the HHT is

conducted every 4th Quarter of each year. (see Table)
